in case you haven’t noticed, i’m weird. i’m a weirdo. i don’t fit in. something is very, very wrong with me. there’s this darkness in me, that’s overwhelming sometimes and i don’t know where it comes from.
Everyone’s saying they wanted to see how Lance would have reacted when Keith told the group he was Galra (and so would I LOL) but if you think about it, I’m pretty sure he already knew Keith was Galra
Do you remember their first mission together?
Lance was having trouble trying to figure out the Galra’s technology
Then Keith came over and helped him out, putting his hand on the hand print, allowing them to get through
Lance was confused, wondering how he’d done it, but he’s not dumb, I honestly feel like he put two and two together eventually, probably realizing that Keith is probably Galra or has some Galra in him
And then I bet when Keith told the team, Lance was probably the first one screaming: “I knew it!” or he just wasn’t surprised at all, but knowing him he most likely bragged about knowing his secret before anyone else did
I find it so cute though that he was probably the first one out of the group to find out Keith was Galra, and that if he did know, never said anything about it but kept it to himself, so Keith wouldn’t become uncomfortable
i’ve already done a tutorial on back legs, so i guess this will be like the other half to it haha
so ! while a cat’s haunches are a trapezoid, a cats shoulders are like a very skinny and squished half circle. this shape is actually a simplified version of the scapula + humerus bones. it extends from the tip of the shoulder down to the elbow
some things to note about cats is that they have FLAT chests. their chests will not protrude like a dogs. yes, sometimes their fluff and fur may make it look like they have extended chests, but in reality it’s flat
the rest of the leg is fairly simple, it’s just the shoulders i notice a lot of people have problems with. so let’s draw a cat then yea?
i started with the head first, followed by the chest. you can see i used a rounded rhombus for that. starting with the chest + head can help your character feel more stable and proportional and help give weight to the character. then i threw in the shoulders and the rest.
legs are fairly simple, they will get smaller slightly towards the feet. you can make them more muscular or skinny depending on the character you want.
HERE IS AN EASY TRICK FOR PROPORTIONS. A cat’s elbows WILL ALMOST ALWAYS align with their stomach. The beginning of the leg will align with the end of the chest. (obviously if you’re drawing super longhaired cats thats different but)
taako and lup originally looked completely identical, with the same hairstyle and only really clothing style differentiating them, but then one time Barry accidentally tried to kiss taako in greeting thinking he was lup, so taako charmed his hair bright pink that very day so they could never again possibly be confused for one another
also the second it happened he immediately and instinctively lashed out with magic and turned Barry into an iguana, and then left him like that for like 4 hours until lup found out and made him turn him back :p
