He might make her mad, but nobody can make her laugh like he does. He might stress her out, but nobody can make her happier than he does. Although it may feel like the right thing to do to leave her, he just feels so wrong without her. Nothing feels right. But with her it’s just something they can’t explain. Although it may feel like hell when they argue, when they are getting along it feels perfect.
The manager approached the bartender. “John, you’re fired.” “What?! Why?!” “For giving away drinks for free.” “I’ve never done that!” The manager pulled out a radio and turned it on. Billy Joel’s “Piano Man” was playing. ♫ Now John at the bar is a friend of mine ♫ ♫ He gets me my drinks for free ♫ The manager turned off the radio. “I’m not that John! Hahah! Hey, c’mon, man, how about a joke? Did you hear the one about-”
The manager waved him off and pulled out a cigarette. The bartender
immediately pulled out a lighter. The manager turned on the radio again. ♫ And he’s quick with a joke or to light up your smoke ♫ The manager turned off the radio. The bartender grimaced. “DAMN YOU, BILLY JOEL!!!!” “Goodbye, John.” The bartender started to leave, but turned back at the last second. “Did you know ‘Piano Man’ would be playing on the radio when you turned it on?” “Not at all. Regardless of the song, I was going to fire you.”
“Wow. Yeah, and like those lyrics are right after one another and yet
you turned the radio off for like 30 seconds in between them.” “Dude, I know. Life is weird. You’re still fired. Tell your mom I said ‘Hi.'” “My mom’s deaf.” “Oh. Then tell her I said 'Hi, sorry about your deafness.'” “Will do!”
