lol i'm healthy

Sometimes it’s hard to explain to people how I simultaneously love girls so freaking much but also have internalized lesbophobia that makes it harder for me to view myself in a loving and committed relationships with a woman because of society’s fetishization of lesbians and wlw to the point where being with a girl just feels like I’m part of some kink to get straight men off

I’m split right down in the middle because in terms of a long term relationship, Spike’s kind of your guy. You know, he actually went and get a soul because of her and he was evolve in a different way but Angel’s Romeo. You can’t argue with the one, you know, that it’s the first, that it’s the most important.

I didn’t work for nearly 3 weeks and finally worked 5 hours yesterday and 8 today and only sat for half my 30 minute break and my body is making me pay for it so bad. My lower back and hips are just dull achey throbbing pain, it’s nearly impossible to sit up, I’m limping if I try to walk. I had to take double my painkiller dose and now I’m just laying here half stoned on narcotics and still in pain.

So I’m home from school but still trying to get some stuff done and I felt the need to share this masterpiece of a first draft with all y’all

The most impactful literature has always been controversial. Whether or not one agrees with the things being conveyed in a piece, thinking about the point of view it comes from and the ideas it’s trying to get across always has merit, especially if the things that are being expressed are things people generally avoid thinking about. The main reason literature (or any communication of ideas) gets banned or branded “controversial” is because it makes people uncomfortable or challenges their beliefs. Here’s the flaw in that: a belief that cannot stand up to being challenged holds no merit whatsoever. If we can’t analyze the things we think and why we think them, and why we reject the things we disagree with, our thinking is worthless. (some remark relating that rant to the song to close)

Secondly, (figure out how to make that^^^^^ fit cohesively into a list) (maybe even switch the order actually that sounds like a good idea but I’m gonna word vomit before changing it) dismissing that a song could enrich someone’s thinking just because it’s rap, or because it’s popular, or because it contains language that might offend some people, is ridiculous. The medium of art does not affect its value, only how biased people are when appraising it. The only difference between rap and traditional poetry is that rhythm is more prominently featured in rap and also they tend to come from different cultural backgrounds but the only reason that would make one better than the other in anyone’s eyes is if they were BIASED. BIAS BIAS BIAS holy heck I’m tired this draft is going nowhere what am I doign. Not even gonna fix the typo. Bye felicia.
