Sakumoto Art in Drawing Shiritori (Anishi 19.11.2016)
So Kyary Pamyu Pamyu is into the drawing version of the linking word game, Shiritori, and here’s what OTP got up to. Such serious play, these two.
To start, this was Jun’s first go…
… which led to Sho’s first attempt…
… which Keio Chipmunk erased himself and replaced with what looked like a box (hako)…
… causing Kyary-san to draw a kotatsu, but which she erased when Sho-san added details to his drawing…
He decided that adding a stick figure might help.
See the pride he had that he could deliver such an ‘accurate’ drawing…
… though a few more details were again ‘enhanced’ for clarity.
Then OTP decided to kill this shipper’s brain cells with their second attempts, down to one minute on the clock.
Sho-san’s indecisiveness was obviously rubbing off…
… though Sho-kun was quick to catch on to whatever it was that our youngest had drawn.
In deciphering the drawings after time up, we learn that Jun’s…
‘sou-PU’ was originally connected to ‘PU-oh’ (Pooh) Bear…
… till Sho worried that it would be mistaken for a big-eyed bear…
… so he changed it to PO-ol.
It was the second attempt that made my OTP kokoro squeal a little with…
Jun’s fuE (flute) and Sho’s connection of Entotsu (chimney). While everyone was trying to figure out what Jun-kun had drawn, Sho happily claimed that he had no problem figuring it out. That was why he was so quick to fill in his square.
Delusional shipper in me chooses to imagine this… (^_^)
Ahhh~ it’s a fabulous time to ship this revival? pair.
The concept of being in a romantic relationship is somewhat of an abstract, or unrealistic/unknown thing to me. It’s kinda like thinking about the dark side of the moon. You know it probably exists, even though you’ve never seen it (google images doesn’t count!) and you probably never will see it and know what the hell it looks like.
It features a canon lgbt relationship between a gay boy and a demisexual boy, a relationship that isn’t even a main focus of the books but still manages to contribute to both the plot and the character development.
A same-sex relationship that doesn’t end tragically, that shows these two characters staying together for years to come and leading a healthy domestic life with two cats, an apartment and a joint career.
A relationship that may not start out well, that is anything but love at first sight, but grows so much through personal struggles and mutual respect, and results in something worthwhile.
A relationship that places heavy emphasis not only on mutual consent, on learning and supporting, on protection and respect, but also on individual independence.
A relationship that doesn’t cast other characters to the sidelines, that isn’t the main character’s only source of happiness, because it takes more than romance to develop a character.
A relationship with a goddamn happy ending that feels entirely deserving for both characters because this is how they love, this is how they overcome their past, this is how they grow, not dependent on each other but side-by-side.
Just a goddamn happy same-sex relationship that doesn’t end in death or separation and that involves characters actually learning to respect and love each other basically???
I dunno who mentioned it but someone in the undertale tag mentioned that The Batter (from OFF)and your player character in Undertale had similar faces and I couldn’t resist drawing this since OFF is another one of my favorite games~!
Just a quick sketch from my notebook but I hope you like it, none-the-less!
Jushiro and Shunsui are the closest friends… The answer will forever remain a mystery lol As of free time, these two dorks spend it together! Anyway gonna be back to answer more questions in a couple of days, enjoy!
Two-Tails- They have a incurable weakness for tea and cake.
Moss Spirit- These tricksy cat-like creatures hunt in family groups by weaving illusions of luxurious feasts, and surrounding the area, sleeping still as stone. The moment a creature is lured in to taking a bite of the fake food, the spell is broke, and their eyes open as they leap onto their quarry without mercy.
New Moon Two-Tails- It is said that the very first Two-Tails were crafted from the primal magics within the Thornfens by the first Swarm Queen, the revered Cocoon Mother, as her personal companions.
So ary had the idea of the third one being a swip swap using drops from the other two. I likes it~!
Also bonus (from talks with ary, who could not get over her worry on how they would walk on the ground):
“A great serpent of the North, they had said, a
creature that brought fear and death to all in its wake. Dragon fire is unlike
most fires we are well accustomed to, it is like a potent poison– it burns and
corrodes with every intention of turning all that it touches into ash.
I first heard the news when I was visiting my
mother and father in Lothlorien, that the company of elves coming out of
Greenwood had been decimated by a great serpent of the North.
Our healers worked feverishly to heal his
wounds before my arrival, but in the end, even I could not save his eye
entirely. We traveled swiftly to Imladris shortly after, for there is no
greater healer in Arda than Lord Elrond, but ultimately, Lord Elrond could only
confirm our greatest fears— that his eyesight could not be salvaged.”
