loki wants love

There are soooooo many people out there who ask “Why do you like Loki so much? He’s a villain.” And while I don’t have the time to list everything, (because let’s be honest who does?) I am now writing down the points of why people need to love this dude. Also known as,

Why You Should Love The Psychotic But Still Hot Space Prince.
By Debbie.

Point Number One: His Eyes.

Now, I think we can all agree that girls are suckers for a guy with pretty eyes. I mean who doesn’t like looking at a guy with beautiful eyes?

Its just in our nature.

I mean, I could probably like Loki just because of his eyes.  Have you seen them?! Its like you’re just sitting there the whole time having a debate with yourself on what color they are. I’m pretty sure I’ve this conversation with myself like twice.

“Blue or green? Green our blue? Okay I think they’re blue.  No wait, they’re green. Yup. One hundred percent sure they’re green. Actually they’re blue. Okay I’m defs for sure that they are blue. Well…….maybe they’re grey? ”

Yeah. Its like the sweetest torture known to man. But also kind of a weird thing to do, but if you’re a fan girl, there’s weirder things you’ve done.

So, my conclusion for his eye color, (for now) is that they are a mixture of blue, green and sliver/grey. And honestly that is a very attractive color for eyes. At least to me.

I know there are some people out there who prefer dark eyes, and that’s totally cool. But if you don’t think that Loki has beautiful, stunning, amazing, etc. eyes, then I will question whether you’re human or not.

Point Number Two: His Hair.

I love guys with dark hair. I don’t what it is, but there’s just something about dark haired guys that I love. And let me tell you, Loki has amazing dark hair.

Now, while its kind of long, and I prefer short haired guys, I still love his hair. (Especially in the first Thor movie. I mean whew! *fans self*)

The thing that I really want to do with his hair is run my hands through it. Oh my goodness I can only imagine how soft it would be. *shivers* And he has shiny hair too, so yeah, there’s that too.

And really, I just don’t know what else to say about it. I like the dude’s hair, its a really cool shade (?) of black and I really wanna run my hands through it.

Point Number Three: His Clothing Style.

LEATHER, GOLD ARMOR, A CAPE, AND MORE LEATHER!!!

Needless to say, I like his clothing choice.

We all know (I hope) that his signature colors are green, gold and black. And I love those colors together. So those colors on Loki does something to me.

We’ve all seen in the Avengers and in Thor, though briefly, his ‘mortal’ style.

A suit.

……

I LOVE A GUY IN A SUIT.

Seriously, its almost my religion.

Guys in suits are waaaaaaay more attractive than this stupid 'dope style’ or whatever its called. What even is that?

Okay, so you have a hat on backwards, your pants are falling off and your shoes are horrifyingly red.

That’s not appealing to me AT ALL.

Now, it would get annoying after a while to have your guy always wearing a suit, so I really would like to know how Loki would dress casually.

Would he? Or would he just always be wearing a suit?

Who knows?

But his clothing style definitely fits my criteria.

Point Number Four: He Is Literally Prince Charming.

I’m sure every girl when she was little, dreamed of having a Prince Charming come and marry her or something.

Well, Loki could charm the pants off anyone (they don’t call him 'Silver Tongue’ for nothing I’m sure *wink wink wiggle wiggle*), and he’s a Prince. Of a cool space kingdom.

Thus, I give you Prince Charming.

Now, as much as I hate to say it, Loki is a fictional character.

Yes I just committed the number one fangirl sin. But hear me out.

Even though he’s not real, I’m sure if he was and you were lucky enough to be his significant other, he would treat with the utmost respect.

There are SO many fanfictions out there where he treats his girlfriend or whatever like crap.

I’m sorry but no.

Loki would be the most respectful partner in the world. Even surpassing Captain America. (Forgive me Steve for I have sinned.)

He would treat you like a freaking queen. Am I right? (Yes, yes I am)

Point Number Five: The Tragic Back Story.

Lots of girls like a guy with a tragic back story or something like that.

Well let me tell you that Loki is like the Prince of all tragicness.

I mean, his father is like the worst, he was always second to Thor and he found out that he is not in fact Asgardian, but an Andorian with Elsa’s powers.  (If you didn’t get the reference I will be upset with you.)

How sad is that?

(Which I don’t know about you, but I would totally cry if I found out that I wasn’t Asgardian.*sniff sniff*)

Point Number Six: His Height.

As a member of the short girl club, I can tell that most of us love it when someone really tall hugs us. It feels super comforting and you always feel really safe.

Well, Loki is tall. And while I’ve never hugged him, I’ve hugged my brother, who is the same height as him,(Or rather the same height as Tom Hiddleston who plays Loki so…..) and let me tell you, he gives like the best hugs ever. (When he’s not squeezing the life out of you)

If you’re a tall girl and want a guy that isn’t shorter than you, then I give you Loki. I highly doubt that you’re gonna be taller than him. (Unless you’re 6" 3 which if you are, I’m so sorry.)

So that concludes my points on why people should love Loki as much as I do.

I’m afraid to check whether they’ve turned Loki evil again tbh. i know they will eventually but honestly why have villain Loki when you can have “chaotic-good-sometimes-chaotic-neutral-depends-on-the-mood-and-also-turns-into-a-cat-version-of-his-brother-to-annoy-him-Loki”

i mean i know which i find more compelling

  • Balder: Ok guys! Some of the stuff we admitted are pretty intense, but if you had to pick just ONE kink to have fulfilled, what would it be? ;) Loki, you go first.
  • Loki: I just want to be in a fulfilling relationship where someone would just love me and accept me for who I am, the part monster I am. I'm a trickster god too, alright? I want to pull pranks on people and sure, I annoy so many people that a lot of them want to kill me but I want them to have fun and laugh. But because of my blood, so many people hate me as it is, so I guess I'm acting in this way because I want attention, but shit, I like pulling pranks too. Someone, please love me.
  • Everyone:
Let Me Go

TITLE: Let Me Go

CHAPTER NO./ONE SHOT: One Shot

AUTHOR: wolfpawn

ORIGINAL IMAGINE: Imagine Loki’s friend being in love with him but only starts to pay attention to her when another friend Fandral is interested. She realises that is the only reason he is interested and it breaks her heart. Loki doesn’t want her, but he doesn’t want anyone else to have her.

RATING: General

NOTES: Done as a result of a prompt by DeathByUKMen and the name Runa  means secret love in Nordic

It was as cliched as it comes, falling in love with one’s best friend, it was as though it was a stupid book, it was ulcer-inducing really. And to make matters worse, said best friend put the Prince, in Prince Charming. Prince Loki, second son of King Odin and younger brother of the loud boisterous and sometimes idiotic Prince Thor. Loki was more cunning, a trickster in every aspect and often dismissed as a foolish prankster, but he used that to his advantage, and how Runa adored watching him do it.

Her father was Odin’s right-hand man, the General of his armies and a Grand Duke of the court, so essentially, she was raised alongside the royal princes. Thor paid her no heed in the earlier days; until the day Lady Sif came to the battle arena and defeated most any man in her wake, Thor thought girls pointless and boring, his opinion being that all they did is be girly and play dress up and tea as youths before developing into giddy social climbers. But Loki, he had decided she was someone worth talking to, and soon realised she was his unfaltering ally. Using her own wits and mind to assist him in his mischief, as well as her sex to get her out of trouble that he would have been more harshly punished for, should any have caught him. She took the blame for his actions more times than either could recall, without prompt and without request and in return, Loki had remained as loyal to her.

imagine how much better the Thor movies would’ve been if Frigga were actually written in a realistic way rather than a ‘women don’t talk when the menfolk are talking’ way

I mean she’s a powerful magic user and more importantly she’s a MOM. Thor and Loki wouldn’t have gotten away with SHIT. The entire goddamn plot never would’ve happened, no wonder they dumbed her down.

Frigga would’ve busted in like “NO THOR, YOU’RE NOT GOING TO JOTUNHEIMR, YOU’RE GOING TO YOUR ROOM. YOU’RE GROUNDED FOR A WEEK. SIF, HOGUN, FANDRALL, VOLSTAGG, YOU’RE ALL GROUNDED FOR A WEEK. I DON’T CARE IF YOU’RE ADULTS, I AM YOUR QUEEN AND YOU ARE ALL GROUNDED.”

and then she’d whip it around on Loki like “DON’T YOU LAUGH. I KNOW WHAT YOU DID. YOU WANT YOUR FATHER TO HEAR HOW FROST GIANTS GOT INTO ASGARD? THEN YOU’D BETTER GET YOUR BUTT IN YOUR ROOM TOO, YOUNG MAN. THAT’S WHERE YOU’RE GOING TO BE FOR THE NEXT CENTURY.”

When a friend of mine complains about being single and goes on to tell me how she really needs to have a man in her life:

-  Do you see the difference ?

Loki wants to make his mother proud.
Thor wants to make his father proud.

Just Once

You watched him move through the crowd. Various shades of black and green leather was paired beautifully with suede. Buckles and zippers looked as if they were placed strategically throughout, and you briefly wondered if that was at the request of Loki, or if the tailor had some input into the design.

He moved with confidence, greeting Kings with an incline of his head, bending slightly at the waist, and Queens with a kiss to the backs of their hands. More than one of them blushed furiously, giggling like a young girl before their Kings ushered them away quickly. Loki always had a way with the ladies.

Several suitors came and went, asking for a dance or offering a refill of your wine, but you ignored them all. Your eyes, and heart, were fixed on Loki, son of Odin, younger brother of Thor. While almost the entire kingdom, commoners and royalty alike, swooned over Thor, you never understood what the fuss was about.

While Thor had the muscles and the blonde hair and the adoration of his kingdom, Loki had something deeper; good intentions. Thor… well he just wanted the throne, his birthright. All Loki wanted was the love and adoration of his father, the same affection he showed his first-born.

Loki’s eyes found yours and it felt like the air was sucked from your lungs. With a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth, he abandoned the newly appointed King of the next galaxy over, and was standing in front of you a moment later.

You couldn’t help but notice the heat of his hand as he took yours, the way his forefinger brushed over your pulse point, the way his lips ghosted over your skin as he kissed it, or the way his pupils exploded as he looked at you through impossibly thick eyelashes; it all took your breath away.

“My Prince.”

“Dance with me.” It wasn’t a question. He tugged gently on your hand, and even though you hated dancing in front of large crowds, you didn’t pull away.

“Loki, you know I-“

He spun you around, pinning you to his chest with the help of a long fingered hand that rest heavily on the small of your back. “Just once.”
