Triangle Pose, while a commonly practiced pose, can take time to fully master. An ab and leg strengthener, triangle also promotes body awareness due to the many details that must be accounted for to perfect alignment. After you set up in the pose ask yourself these questions: Are my hips open? Do I need to pull my top hip back and push my bottom hip forward? Are my shoulders stacked? Is my spine lengthened out and am I slightly leaning back? Am I looking up at my top hand and while doing so is my neck lengthened and yet relaxed?
