living life to the fullest quotes

She changed this year.
She decided she didn’t want to be this shy person anymore
because she always felt left out.
She decided to do one thing a day that scared her.
She decided to be more open-minded and
to stop judging everyone without knowing their reasons.
She decided to stop holding herself back and
to stop pretending she’s somebody she isn’t just to impress someone.
She decided to stop worrying so much about small things
that won’t matter in a few months.
These decisions made her happier than she’s ever been in her life.
She feels carefree, bold and like she’s living life at the fullest.
Please don’t die.
Not while
I’m still breathing.
Not while
My heart’s still beating.
We are strangers for now.
But maybe…
One day
Things will change.
One day
We will
Go back to
How things used
To be.
Back to when
Things were simpler.
Whether it’s in a year
Or ten…
I will wait for you.
We have so much
More to do together.
I will be patient for you.
We have so much
More to live for.
You are too young
To die at an early age.
You will not live life
To the fullest,
Until you live life
With me.
—  We Need More Time
Maybe you just have to live for the small things, like being called pretty or someone picking up the pen you dropped or laughing so hard that your stomach hurts. Maybe that’s all that really matters at the end of the day.

Someone once told me to always live for the little things in life. Live for 5am sunrises and 5pm sunsets where you’ll see colours in the sky that don’t usually belong. Live for road trips and bike rides with music in your ears and the wind in your hair.

Live for days when you’re surrounded by your favourite people who make you realise that the world is not a cold, harsh place. Live for the little things because they will make you realise that this is what life is about, this is what it means to be alive.

You’ll need coffee shops and sunsets and road trips. Airplanes and passports and new songs and old songs, but people more than anything else. You will need other people and you will need to be that other person to someone else, a living breathing screaming invitation to believe better things.

Dream like your life depends on it. In a sense, it does. One is not put on this earth to simply live a mediocre life, but should be able to experience their life to its fullest and everything that it has to offer. So dream. Dream big. And follow this up with meaningful action. Bring your life to the highest level that you are able to. After all, what is living if it’s not being lived to its fullest?

By all means, go out into the world and explore. Kiss strangers, kiss friends, fall in and out of love until your hands and heart are libraries of all the people they have touched. Before long we learn, right down to our bones, that some people are hotels and others homes.
I want you to tell me about every person you’ve ever been in love with. Tell me why you loved them and why they loved you. Tell me about a day in your life that you didn’t think you’d live through. Tell me about what the word ‘home’ means to you and tell me in a way that I’ll know your mother’s name just by the way you describe your bedroom you had when you were 8. See, I wanna know the first time you felt the weight of hate and if that day still trembles beneath your bones. Do you prefer to play in puddles of rain or dance in the bellies of snow? And if you were to build a snowman, would you rip two branches from a tree to give your snowman arms? Or would you leave your snowman armless for the sake of being harmless to the tree? And if you would, would you notice that the tree weeps for you because your snowman has no arms to hug you every time you kiss him on the cheek? Do you kiss your friends on the cheek? Do you sleep beside them when they’re sad, even if it makes your lover mad? Do you think that anger is a sincere emotion or just the timid of a fragile heart trying to beat away its pain? See, I wanna know what you think of your first name. And if you often lie awake at night and imagine your mother’s joy when she spoke it for the very first time. I want you to tell me all the ways you’ve been unkind. Tell me all the ways you’ve been cruel. See I want to know more than what you do for a living. I want to know how much of your life you spend just giving. And if you love yourself enough to also receive sometimes. I wanna know if you bleed sometimes through other peoples wounds. I want to know about you.

“Nutrition is not low fat. It’s not low calorie. It’s not being hungry and feeling deprived. It’s nourishing your body with real, whole foods so that you are constantly satisfied and energized to live life to the fullest.” 👊🏼 one of my favorite quotes. 〰 Big filling bowl of spaghetti noodles w/ mixed greens, avo slices, tomatoes, black beans, leftovers from the tofu scramble and a pinch of black pepper 🍝🌿

Always live life to the fullest. Be bold. Be brave. Be a better version of yourself.

I think one of my favorite feelings is laughing with someone and realizing halfway through how much you enjoy them and their existence in your life
—  what makes life meaningful
If I could offer you one piece of advice to hold in your heart, it would be to appreciate every second you have with the things that you love; be they places, objects or people…. Because there is a last time for everything and you don’t always get to know that it’s the last time when you’re in it.
There will be a last time you see a sunrise, a last time you taste ice-cream and a last time you smell a rose.
There will be a last time you enter every room, a last time you hold every pet, and a last time you hear a loved one’s voice.
Sometimes we know we’re in those moments and we can saver ever second of them - but so often we don’t know until that moment is gone and it’s too late to go back and relive it.
So hold onto those moments while you have them… live inside them…. appreciate them to their fullest every time so you’ll never regret taking them for granted one day when they’re gone.
