livenation

anonymous asked:

how are we supposed to view hana song? like, the concept of her wanting to livestream combat missions in her mech. is that supposed to be goofy fun from a character who exists in a non-serious world, or is that supposed to be horrifying dystopian worldbuilding

I’d say it’s a little bit of both. Though less horrifying than you’d think.

Overwatch, at its core, is intended to be a world where there’s hope and optimism. Like no matter how bad it gets, there’s always going to be someone who’ll stand up and say ‘no, it doesn’t have to be like this’. This is reinforced in every animated short and in many of the comics and in nearly every interview or lore discussion video I’ve ever seen.

Hope. Sometimes hope is an old soldier remembering what it was like to give a damn, Sometimes hope is a woman determined to make the world better through sheer force of cheerfulness, or a man who uses song to fight oppression.

And sometimes hope is a young woman called into service for her country. She’s the kind of person that thrives on being a celebrity, and she’s probably actively encouraged by her superiors to liven things up.

It’s all about morale.

Her country is under attack. Her people are scared and suffering. But there’s this woman, barely an adult, risking her life to protect them. And she’s good at it. She could be partying, gaming, living her life and instead she’s out there fighting these monstrous kaiju-like omnics that are threatening everyone and everything she loves.

And she broadcasts it, so her people, and the world at large, can see exactly what she’s doing. Maybe she makes a game of it, but Hana has always taken her games seriously. She was a competitor. It was her life

And people back home sleep a little easier. They smile more, and they laugh when Hana taunts the monsters at their doorstep. Back home, a child wants to be her. On another continent, someone watches her videos and thinks ‘I can do that too’

Ascendant-Descendant axis: Elements

Fire ASC - Air DSC

With a Fire sign (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) on the Ascendant, you see yourself as bold, energetic, and fun. When you walk into a room, you take charge and often take the spotlight; people notice you, you don’t “blend in”, you are seen strongly. You tend to want to liven things up in a room, get the energy flowing and people bouncing off each other. Stagnant, dull environments are something you hate.
You have an Air sign (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) on the Descendant, so you tend to see and experience everyone else as being too shallow, impersonal and detached. Others live too much in the mental realm of ideas and don’t take enough action or actually do what they say they want to do, whereas you are the opposite. Everyone else seems a bit too flighty and concerned with social niceties or issues, whereas you interact only with what is immediate and in front of you at any given time; you don’t worry about what is not directly in front of you, but others seem to live too much in the future. Others can also seem mischievous and that they get away with things.

Air ASC - Fire DSC

With an Air sign (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) on the Ascendant, you see yourself as intellectual, sociable and harmonious. When you walk into a room, you talk and when first meeting people, talking is your natural mode of behaviour. You have a nervous energy but you tend to say the right things at the right time. Lack of communication makes you feel uneasy and awkward. People need to be communicating.
You have a Fire sign (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) on the Descendant, so you tend to see and experience everyone else as being too passionate, attention-seeking and perhaps arrogant. Others seem way too concerned with their own selfish needs and perhaps their own feelings, whereas you tend to think about everyone. Others seem to lack social graces or be quite blunt and just blunder in without thinking about social graces, which bothers you as you do think about social graces. Everyone seems a bit too concerned with their own personal feelings and emotions and they tend to blow up about every little thing. You may find and feel at times that you are the most intellectual, clever one in the room and may fall into the trap of seeing yourself as intellectually superior over everyone else. Others can be a bit too passionate and not really think before arguing or losing their temper, they might not think before they speak. You are always aware of words though.

Earth ASC - Water DSC

With an Earth sign (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) on the Ascendant, you see yourself as realistic, practical and grounded. When you walk into a room, you don’t make a big show, you tend to be unassuming and reserved, but friendly. You see yourself as “normal” compare to other people, whatever normal is. You are concerned with how things should be and if things aren’t to your standard or expectations, you might start to internally judge and criticise. Material needs are important to you and if those aren’t provided, you can also start to judge people.
You have a Water sign (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) on the Descendant, so you tend to see and experience everyone else as emotionally messy. People are too whiny and cry about things whereas you tend to just get on with fixing things if they are a mess. You don’t dwell in your feelings, but other people do. Their emotional messes can stress you out. Others may appear to be distant and detached too, but it’s likely that they’re just in a protective shell. Everyone may seem a bit emotionally high-strung and don’t know how to relax due to their strong emotions, whereas you feel and appear quite relaxed in social situations. Others may not be as ambitious or as work-oriented as you, and you may fall into the trap of either criticising them, or trying to fix their lives when they may not need or want to be fixed. You give people practical advice rather than emotional sympathising.

Water ASC - Earth DSC

With a Water sign (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) on the Ascendant, you see yourself as as emotionally intelligent, and aware of emotions of everyone. You also see yourself as someone who is caring and nurtures the emotions of a situation. You aren’t as concerned about practical things or maybe ideas or making things funny or light; you get down and dirty with whatever mood or feeling surrounds you. You could be taken advantage of in this way. When you walk into a room, you blend in and want to merge with your environment - you do not want to stand out or to be different in any way. Usually, you maintain the status quo. You also tend to absorb the feeling of people around you.
You have an Earth sign (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) on the Descendant, so you tend to see and experience everyone else as too concerned with practical, ambitious, material needs, rather than the emotions of people. Others are too ambitious and work-oriented, too goal-oriented and focused on where they are going next, whereas you feel that you aren’t this way, you tend to be more about going with the flow of your feelings and doing what feels right, not necessarily what you should do. Others may come to you for advice and nurturing, either emotional nurturing or material nurturing, and they can deplete and drain you. You may feel that no-one is concerned about your emotional problems, but you are concerned with everyone else’s. Other people’s mess upsets you, people need to clean up after themselves.

Sun through the houses

Sun in the 1st house:  With the sun in the first house, great effort is put into creating and maintaining a good self image. The way you are perceived by others is paramount to first-house sun people. Accept that you need to be a leader or an innovator, and go for it, but be careful not to be overbearing with others. A sunny disposition is generally attributed to this placement and a positive confident attitude is normally displayed.

Sun in the 2nd house With a second-house sun, a person’s identity is developed and expressed by defining personal values and accumulating objects of value. You have the ability to attract money and resources, but you can’t always hang on to it or it doesn’t bring you the happiness you expected.   Avoid over-identifying with what you have. Take pride in the solid and secure foundations that you build, as well as the lasting relationships you aim to maintain, while being careful to avoid possessiveness.

Sun in the 3rd house: Gemini, the natural ruler of this house, gives Geminian overtones to all traits. You is driven to learn, explore and enjoy their immediate environment.  You have an uncontainable desire to acquire knowledge. You relish in taking various pieces of knowledge and putting them together like puzzles that need solving. You’re observant, optimistic, flexible and you’re a superb communicator, able to relate ideas clearly to others. You would make make an excellent teacher, lecturer or writer.

Sun in the 4th house: The chart holder with a fourth-house sun is not happy unless their home life is happy. Because the fourth house can be deep and emotional, the sun here has to work extra hard to liven and inspire things. They thrive and excel in a home that is active, alive, open and loving. If they aren’t in this type of home environment, they will not feel invigorated about their life. They will strive to make the changes necessary to give them the home and family life they need.

Sun in the 5th house: The sun is comfortable in its own house. In fact, it is driven to shine here. At its best, it creates a chart holder who is confident about who they are and how they affect others. You want to be noticed for your unique and special qualities and your creativity. You are happiest when you are expressing yourself in a special way and attention comes your way as a result. You have a flair for drama and/or sports. You are proud of your fun-loving attitude towards life. As you demonstrate your ability to shine, avoid grabbing center stage all of the time.

Sun in the 6th house: The work that you do, and the services that you offer, are very important to your sense of identity. In order to feel good about yourself, you need to be busy with daily activities and to produce work you can be proud of. Focus on finding a suitable and rewarding avenue for expressing this part of you, being extra careful to choose an occupation in which you can express yourself. You are sensitive to criticism about the work you do, and you work best when you can create your own schedule.

Sun in the 7th house: Libran traits are accented with the Sun in this house. You take pride in your ability to negotiate, and to establish harmony in your relationships. It is important to you to have a partner, as you feel incomplete without one. You can be fickle about partners because new partners inspire them and allow them to see themselves in new ways. You’re self-confident, popular and have favorable dealings with your superiors. You’re good at public relations, sales and promotions.

Sun in the 8th house: You have a great urge to go farther or deeper into life every step of the way. You want to experience more, and your desires are both powerful and intense. It is hard for you to find satisfaction in common experiences, and you have magnetic power if you choose to use it wisely. You are fascinated with what lies under the surface, and at some point in your life, self-improvement is a big interest. You are attracted to unexplored or taboo areas of life, and you avoid all things superficial.

Sun in the 9th house:  You have a deep need to understand the world around you. You have high ideals and you have your eye on what’s on the horizon. You are looking ahead, and at times can seem quite restless. You are proud of your knowledge and of your morals. Be sure to avoid self-righteousness in your enthusiasm to share your knowledge. When used correctly, you are a tolerant, adventurous, and curious person, and you want to see the best in people and in life

Sun in the 10th house: The traits of Capricorn are much in evidence. Your career takes on greater than average importance. You feel the need to improve your career and is usually successful and involves your whole personality, possibly at the expense of your marriage and friendships. You’re ambitious and intrigued by power, which may make you too authoritative and dictatorial. You’re a leader in whatever you do and people pay attention to you. You may become arrogant or rebellious if you let that attention go to your head.

Sun in the 11th house: The Aquarian traits are stressed here and you simply want to do your own thing. You have many clear-cut objectives and usually achieve what you set out to do. You have a strong desire to gain recognition through mental achievements and inventions. You have strong organizing abilities and are usually a leader in any group you are involved with– societies and groups are an important part of your life. You’re apt to be a humanitarian with concern for universal human dignity and brotherhood

Sun in the 12th house: You have a tendency to be introspective and need some space and seclusion in order to pull up your strength. You may avoid the spotlight, and if you do find yourself in a public role, you tend to hide your true self behind that role!  However the sun sheds his light on this house giving the native zero worries under stressful situation. No matter what the problem is, the native will sleep sound, and will be able to see all the secret dealing happening behind or against him or her. This also can take a native to foreign lands.

anonymous asked:

how do you decide what to do with your face in pictures? there are a lot of tutorials on posing but they mostly just talk about the body and i feel like my face looks boring or weird in most pictures

AS ALWAYS this stuff takes practice. You get more comfortable the more you do it, but there are tips and shortcuts to help you achieve something more in your control then just smiling and hoping you look right.

My favorite tips are the, “MMMM”  “me” “haha” and “you” tricks! And what they are, are words to say to yourself during your pose to help train your face into specific structures.

For smiling for example, specifically with your mouth closed, practice saying “MMM” when you pose! It creates a really natural curve to your mouth, without making your cheeks ache and contract when you force yourself into a fake smile. I know this all sounds stupid, but seriously try it. Try it in some selfies, practice agnling your head. Say it out loud if you need to!

Here’s me saying “MMMM” to make a closed lipped smile!

For an open mouthed, natural, teeth smile, say “Me” when you pose!! You can either say “Me” as you smile for a prounouced smile, or simply say it as the shutter goes off to catch a more candid looking, happy state of your face.

These are all “me” poses, where im literally saying the word under my breath to train my face.

Saying “You” so youself as you exhale through your lips, creates a very neutral, easy, UN TENSE, looking face. Its my go to for everything. YOU poses are awesome for static poses, where you just need your face to look normal, natural, and pretty. Lol. It’s great cause if you dont do this and keep your mouth closed, you often look boring or too stiff. Sayng “you” activates your muscles and livens your face enough that you dont look dead or lifeless.

These are all You poses. I’m literally saying that word a I pose. And some of these I say YOU while putting a little smile in there by thinking happy thoughts.

I don’t use “HAHA” as much, but it really is just like you might think. Saying HAHA out loud as you pose creates that easy going, natural look of laughing.

As you might tell, Posing is a lot about ACTING as well as knowing your body.

SO GET LOOSE. In between photos im CONSTANTLY moving around. And after a few shots im cosntantly stretching my mouth wide, making fish faces, puffing my cheeks, RELAXING my muscles so they don’t do that horrendous School Day smile that we all dread.

And again PRACTICE. Get in front of that mirror and try out a bunch of stuff. Try DIFFERENT WORDS to see what saying them dos to your expression. Try angles and poses at home, so when the camers in front of you, your ready.

Then youll be able to do more complicated stuff too.

Know what these pictures bring to mind?

Super mountain man author Derek living in the middle of the woods, keeps to himself because brooding writer stereotypes and also people are the worst. So he’s legit like in the mountains somewhere, a ridiculously long way away from everything and it’s quiet and peaceful, and he can shift and go running without running into campers or people going skiing. He chops wood, he drinks coffee on his porch overlooking the valley, he writes—it’s peaceful and it’s quiet and he loves it.

And then one morning, he’s sitting on his porch, drinking his coffee and minding his own business, and a fucking serial killer wanders out of the woods. Dingy hat with a huge beard, looking like some crazy libertarian nutjob who lives in a tent to avoid the government taking his guns.

He’s a werewolf, but Derek doesn’t mess with serial killers, so he freezes and stares and hopes that if he doesn’t move, the serial killer just won’t see him. The guy looks a little rough around the edges, to say the least. It could happen.

Except the serial killer does eventually notice him, and he also freezes and stares, and seems to be…scared of him? Of the guy wearing flannel and drinking coffee with a book on his own front porch?

Turns out the serial killer is actually Stiles, out in the wilderness looking for his best friend Scott, who went on a camping trip with a couple college friends and hasn’t been heard from since. And Stiles is not actually a serial killer, just a really unequipped college kid roaming the woods, pretty damn lost, with a Tracking for Dummies book jammed in the bottom of his backpack.

And I mean living off trail mix and beef jerky levels of unequipped.

Like, the second this kid heard the rangers even start to suggest that they’d exhausted their resources, he said, “fuck you, I’ll find him myself” and took off into the mountains with his college backpack and the cheapest tent he could find.

So once Derek realizes that the not-serial killer is even more freaked out than he is, all he sees is a really pathetic, sore, and exhausted ball of rage and determination and offers him coffee. And actual food. And a shower because all he can smell is beef jerky.

Stiles is understandably weirded out because this dude offering him food definitely looks like a mountain man serial killer who cut himself off from society so no one would hear his victims’ screams.

There’s a lot of appearance-based assumptions all around.

Through the cosmic kaleidoscope snapshot

Aries:

Something in her nature is always preparing her for war. It could be with lovers, employers, teachers, or parents. It could be with herself and if she is staging to the world the woman she admires in herself. Her heels thunder through the hallways and she can raise her voice higher than the ceiling. When it comes to self expectation, her standards are quite high. She is not afraid of assertion, protecting her femininity, or defending herself against any force or feature. Every piece of herself that she has built has taken work. Libra may be the White Queen, and indelible charmer seemingly loved by the world. But the Red Queen in Aries is life and aliveness, choking at the excitement of everything, vivid, glorious, spirited, and… bonkers.

Taurus:

Taurus have a talent for beautifying everything they put their hands on, so you can almost imagine their paintbrushes stroking everything in tactile delight and leaving colours behind that nobody has seen before. Even her physical body is a canvas, she can be experimental with personal style, use meditation to create harmonics in her body, create gourmet cuisine and help flowers grow. It is her godly artistry, the substance of her inner world that gives rise to mosaics and masterpieces, the paintbrush hands that spindle thread into gold.

Gemini:

Gemini is rarely hesitant to hide her lack of fasciation or interest with certain people. She has a sophisticated social conduct but this deteriorates when she finds her company bland and tedious. She can abandon long term relationships and friendships without hesitation because she embraces the change of fresh perspectives. Her intellect cannot hide its need to ravage even greater thinkers, and it’s unapologetic in doing so. It’s always about ensuring the mind does not lapse into a mere moment of boredom, because this would mean that the Gemini is left with nothing but billions of thoughts, and they blow up like anxious butterflies.

Cancer:

The Mother Goddess in Cancer is a formidable figure of biological and spiritual activity, the waters that birth and cradle all life. But there is different sort of light or essence in Cancer, one that the inner child refuses to let go of. It is her intimacy with this internal child, the scarab, that gives her the anointed and sacred mother’s touch. The scarab was anciently regarded as a ‘very tiny cosmos’ as it symbolised entrance into the material universe. This ‘tiny cosmos’ is still active inside Cancer. It’s why she can believe that mermaids exist and immerse herself in make believe. It’s why she can enjoy simple pleasures like colouring in and eating cookie dough. Mother and Child divided and reunited by light itself.

Leo:

The Leo can be so whipped by the crack of the ego that it can be absolutely impossible to accept criticism or failure. The Leo seeks out validation, because love and affection from other people act as a source of nourishment. She needs credit for playing her role with prestige, sometimes openly, and sometimes secretly. These words of acclaim liven her heart and energise her spirit. But this can be fleeting, and only for only a moment. The ego is always flocking close by, waiting to whisper its discouragement or dissatisfaction, hovering with poisonous thoughts that are sure to contaminate any sort of praise she received.

Virgo:

Nothing she ever accomplishes seems good enough for her mind, it slices through her like cutting criticism. The memory of every mistake that she’s ever made inundates her head and sounds like demons cackling. And this pursuit of perfection is ultimately altruistic, she only wants to be perfect so she can be perfect for others, so she can be recognised and praised, so she can hear something other than criticism. This relentless conditioning by her own mind causes her sensitive physical body to respond, she can become trapped in rituals and routine for which she sees no sense, it’s just like a compulsive ceremony to manage the onslaught.

Libra:

Libra is the ruler of the 7th house and the descendant as the sun sets. These shadows begin to dilute the personality, it requires all-consuming social needs and trepidation when faced with isolation. Libra is ultimately energised socially and activated in the pursuit of forming relationships, maintaining contracts, and upholding law. The Libra temperament can be quite unpredictable. They can experience sudden and confusing ruptures of energy that their airy mind is unable to interpret. This is when you see the shaky and tantrum energies of Libra rise from dissatisfied cardinal forces

Scorpio:

Deep down in the halls where Hades rules there is a throne glistening in sea and soul, the throne for the Princess who valiantly guards the threshold with ferocious winds and demons coursing through her hair. The blood of her fought battles tattooed into her skin, her eyes ablaze with the power and prestige of ruling the underworld. That’s no easy task for someone who thought she was a mere girl, the duty of taking souls on journeys and extracting lies and traumas like a psychic surgeon. She oozes magnetism and prowess, her presence is as noticeable as her absence, and in some way she is always watching, observing, and calculating.

Sagittarius:

She safaris in tourist sites and ancient burial lands, the more I understand about the world she figures, the more I will understand about myself. She spots marks on atlases and sees her own heritage. She hears a language never spoken before but understands everything. She sees her own reflection in the Great Barrier Reef. She feels her heart rise with the sun. She adopts new cultures like her own. Change can be the Sagittarian’s only constant, and as the world spins she madly tries to keep up with it. She can be ravenous when her mind is hungry. She just wants to find her true self so it’s not so empty.

Capricorn:

It was also Capricorn who is illustrated by the cloaked grim reaper, their melancholy is not romantic, but it carves out a wound in them that summons magnificent healing energy, an intimacy with pain and suffering that is pure wisdom at its core. For this, she has a unique rapport with death, and she hears the reminders of immortality louder than anyone. It’s this mutual understanding that she has established with death that generates her sorcerer’s knowledge, herbs, tonics, and angelic curatives, but also rituals. And this can be why the Capricorn repeatedly or compulsively carries out personal rituals, there is a calling in her being for return to the wind, trees, salt, and sun and once again become the crone.

Aquarius:

Aquarius is the sign of Blue Light Christ Consciousness, they are residents of the mental plane, the realisation of the inner light and kingdom, the awareness of truth and oneness with all beings. The jagged waves of their symbol represent light, not water, and electrical impulses that pass through one another other like telepathy. Aquarius contains this knowing in her jug of water, but she maintains physical form. Like a mermaid, she dwells in mysterious waters, but in true to her airy nature, her head remains in the clouds.

Pisces:

She wrote a severe contract for earth before incarnating as Pisces. And God knows this, so her support system is rich and active. It’s ensured there are angels, guides, ancestors, and spiritual mentors always on call, this is why so many Pisces make natural spiritualists, healers, witches, and clairvoyants. The 6th sense is how she perceives, feels, knows, and understands the world. The ocean is vast and largely undiscovered, in a spiritual sense it symbolises everything. This is the experience for Pisces. The intensity of containing such spiritual mass is too harsh for a physical body. So the Pisces has many bodies she can swim into.

Looking back down, he pushed the girl’s thigh further back, giving him the best view of how his dick stretched out her pussy. Another slew of filthy words left the boy’s mouth as he leaned over the moaning girl’s body. His large left hand moved beside her head, his chest on hers, nipples rubbing against each others as he slowly pushed his thick, pulsating dick back inside her.

Lifting her right leg, she wrapped it around his thin waist as their bodies roughly rocked the bed. The headboard slamming against the wall brought her closer to her long awaited orgasm. Her senses began overloading. Sehun’s hot breaths against her stretched neck that adorned three hickies, the short curls just above his hard dick that brushed against her swollen clit, his hand that had a firm grip on her thigh to stop her squirming.

“That’s right squeeze my dick,” he groaned against her jaw. Increasing the speed of his thrusts, he lifted his left hand and began rolling her hard nipple between his fingers. “I’m so close,” her whimpers added to the noise of undeniable lewd acts.
