live easier

the reason why tony was even able to make his supersuits is because he made and sold bombs for a living im sure there are thousands of people who don’t give a shit whether he’s changed or not, the damage is done. their family and friends are dead and homes destroyed. he doesn’t deserve praise for discontinuing weaponmaking when he could’ve and should’ve stopped years ago. he only stopped when it was his life in danger and there was no fuckin way that “genius billionaire philanthropist” didn’t know what he was bringing into the world. he could’ve been better than his father but he wasn’t and isn’t. tony could be using his tech to make civilians lives much easier and yet here he is still getting them killed and putting the blame on the Avengers.

One of the people Harry or 'Harry' just followed now tweeted this right before 'Harry' followed her, which is unfortunate... twitter*com/fleetwoodstyIes/status/846774717256286208

“Delete One Direction,” lovely.

(Sorry for taking so long, this is from the other day. XKit mobile.)

Yeah, this is lovely. Publishing in part for my Harry vs OT3 anon and similar. This is not neutral behavior. Columbia doesn’t want to share and they don’t want anyone’s lives to be easier other than their own.

Hey guys! I am so unbelievably happy to announce that my secret project is officially finished! After four solid months of work, Table Fables is complete.

Now, Table Fables is a labor of love - 84 illustrated pages of item tables and generators to make dungeon masters’ lives a little easier. Inside you’ll find a ton of cool things including but not limited to: a full character generator, a disease generator, a kingdom generator, potion generator, a magic items table, a scavenging table, a curse table, a dream table and a ton of other little fun things!

If you want to check it out on Amazon, click here! It’s a super cheap, fun little book meant to make DnD a little more interesting. Thanks for reading!

@new d&d players and dungeon masters starting because of critical role, aquisitions inc, the adventure zone, etc:

hey listen. i know it’s really super easy to compare and set up expectations that your game, your DMing or your roleplaying should be like theirs. i know. it’s super easy to look at matthew mercer and feel like you’ll never be as entertaining as him or you’ll never be as good at roleplaying as the cast, or that you’ll never be as funny as the mcelroys.

but listen to me. i’m serious. they are professionals, but they’re playing with their friends. every single person brings something unique and great to a tabletop game, and if you let go of the expectation that everything needs to be perfect, everything needs to be like the podcasts you listen to or the shows you watch–

it WILL be perfect. d&d is a game where you can do whatever the fuck you want and you should do that, but realize that with these expectations are unfair to your fellow players, your dm, and most importantly yourself. sometimes it takes a while for people to get comfortable with how things are. sometimes it doesn’t. that’s ok. just enjoy your game as much as you can

Don’t expect children to heal your wounds.

Don’t expect children to make your lives easier.

Don’t expect children to give you a purpose.

Don’t expect children to make it up to you for everything you went through.

Don’t expect children to devote their life to you.

Don’t expect children to be your savers.

Children are their own people.

They deserve to have their own life and not to be addition to yours.

Welcome to Kappa Kappa (originally Kappa Kappa Beta but that last part fell off), Lake Lilac University’s first and only co-ed fraternity!

I’m literal trash and also a community college student who still lives with their parents so I’LL TRY NOT TO MESS THIS UP:

Max-Everyone is sure he should have graduated by now, but he’s been in the dorm for so long and still has his major as “undeclared”. No one knows if he actually goes to LLU or not, he never attends class. He’s also somehow behind every out-of-control party or riot that happens on campus or in the dorm, or least DJing. Has been living in Kappa Kappa because it’s the cheapest but he hates everyone, especially the RAs. Nikki did his tattoo.

Neil-STEM Major. Actually does his work and attends classes and was dead-set on not becoming a party kid, but is always the first one to get absolutely smashed at every party. Max’s roommate.

Nikki-No one knows what her major is. Like Max, no one is entirely sure if she actually goes to LLU, but everyone seems to have a class with her. Often climbs in through peoples’ windows because she got “locked out again”, although no one actually knows which room is hers or if she actually lives in the dorm. Got kicked out of Gamma Lambda Sigma (AKA college Flower Scouts idk man) for being the wild child she is. Has been stopped by security/police multiple times because they all keep thinking she’s on drugs. Nah, it’s just Nikki. Good thing LLU has a rugby team (She’s really good but no one is sure if she actually plays for points or for the sake of beating people up).

Why Otabek is the best.

Wasn’t there a saying that the people who are the most quiet notice the most/has the loudest thoughts?

Well in this case, meet Otabek.

Otabek is a character genuinely misunderstood by a lot of characters but adored by the fandom.

Here, we have this:

He takes off his sunglasses when he is talking to people, even when that person is JJ (who no character really likes all that much tbh). This is so respectful. He removes his glasses and makes eye contact when he is spoken to, even if he is just declining a simple offer. He’s badass, but he’s very, very polite.

At 18 years old and being the NATIONAL HERO of his country, he’s still very, very humble.

He positions his medal so that the media can get an easy shot of him. He’s making their lives easier. He’s looking out for them! And even though he just won gold, he doesn’t show any signs of being cocky. He simply, once again, makes solid eye contact with the camera, showing respect/care.

We have him here again, giving the photographers a clear shot of him; looking straight into the camera. He’s standing upright, being very, very proper. Furthermore, I find it so sweet that he’d rather cover up his medal and show his country’s flag instead! He truly puts his country’s pride above his own and I find that beautiful.

However, sometimes his elegant etiquette is misinterpreted as being perhaps too archaic for this generation of bubbly, emotional, and loud skating talents.

(Notice that his entire body is facing towards the person speaking to him, even though he later verbally expressed no interest in hanging around JJ.)

And even after JJ mocks him, he doesn’t reply or shoot back some snarky remark.

Instead, he politely declines JJ’s request in the most fucking formal way possible. Not breaking eye contact. What even.

Anyways, let’s move onto his adorable interest in Yuri. After meeting perhaps his inspiration ever, he gets called an asshole. BY HIS MUSE. BY HIS INSPIRATION. PROBABLY HIS ROLE MODEL.

What does he do? Otabae remains silent and simply walks away. He’s unconfrontational, unlike Yuri, but his silence is demanding.

And guess what, it immediately piques Yurio’s interest.

In the video, Yurio’s eyes trail after Otabek. Now Yurio’s curious about him.

Yurio has a weird tendency to look at Otabek this way. It’s almost as if Yurio somehwat reveres his presence. It makes sense because I’ve done a past meta on why Otabek is probably everything Yurio wants to be/likes (physically at least).

I think someone’s mentioned this before but Otabek arrives WAY TO COINCIDENTALLY FOR IT TO BE AN ACCIDENT. Like it or not, Otabek has always planned to talk to Yurio. Hell, he was probably driving around to try and find him…and of course, saves him instead.

AGAIN, OTABEK REMOVES HIS GLASSES WHEN HE’S TALKING TO SOMEONE. THIS BOY IS SO GENTLEMANLY.

And guess what? This cutie pie tosses YURIO a helmet. Because safety is cool kids.

TDLR: Otabek is fucking bomb.

Lmao so like, I’m on valium right now, I’m schizophrenic and have borderline personality disorder, and I was put on valium because I had kidney stones surgically removed, now … before I had been put on this for my physical illness, I never would have been given the opportunity to try valium to treat my mental illness.

The psychiatric community fear mongers over it so much, but the valium has vastly improved my life, and if I hadn’t almost died I never would have known that there was a medication out there that could actually help me live my life easier? Isn’t that fucked up?

They’re more afraid of the evil mentally ills getting “addicted” than fucking treating our symptoms.

Even though like, I’m literally fucking addicted to my antipsychotics, which I have to take for the rest of my life, but apparently that’s ~just not the same~

Peacefulness wasn’t enough. She’d keep fighting. And fighting wasn’t enough, she’d win. But once I remembered that she was fighting a fight she’d already lost, all I had to do was change the fight. Take her back to Bahrain.

You know I rather envy you. You live life as you please. You have a motor car, your work and now a genuine passion. And no-one ever bothers you with endless questions about when you’ll marry and why you don’t have a gentleman friend.

  • Toxic parents: Not only we can brainwash you from early age that you only exist for our benefit and that your only purpose is to please us and make our lives easier, we can rob you of all of the family experiences you needed to grow and develop, we can inflict wounds and emotional injuries and fears that will haunt you for the rest of your life, but we can also invalidate everything you've been through and act like we're faultless and get away with everything without as much as feeling guilty or responsible, and convince everyone that it's all your fault and that we were great parents, and you, a failure and waste of space are ungrateful little vermin who dared to defy us by requesting basic human rights and non-hostile environment to live in.
