I really love the parallel of Littlefinger and the Hound both mocking Sansa’s ideals and naivety… but whereas LF does so because he wants to manipulate her and craft her into something else, Sandor does it because he knows her sweetness and innocence put her in danger.

They’re both cruel and predatory in different ways… but LF displays fondness (actually too much fondness) and tries to let her down gently and “instruct” her, while Sandor lets his fear and anger burst out of him and constantly teases her about her belief in the world of knights and chivalry.

Littlefinger, though, has the worst intentions for Sansa and he’s, arguably, one of the worst villains in the entire series. He wants to use her and hurt her - he’s the monster he warns her about but he doesn’t care enough about her wellbeing to leave her alone….

The Hound loses his temper because he KNOWS he’s not the knight she deserves, he’s afraid HE’S the monster she should fear, and he hates it, but in reality he has protective intentions and wants nothing but the best for Sansa…. in his roundabout way.

They both know they’re not worthy of Sansa, they destroy her dreams because they can’t fit into them… but LF doesn’t Care and wants to change her so he can rule her… Sandor wants her to change so she can survive… he doesn’t have any real intention to be with her or have control over her… I don’t even think it crossed his mind.

What do you think about Littlefinger's next move? (I'm talking of the series)

It’s hard to say! Of course, now I believe we know his true intentions for once. He wants the Iron Throne for Sansa, with him by her side. He will want to do anything in his power to make it happen. Sansa did not reject his offer, all she told him is “It’s a pretty picture.” and walked away.

What Petyr said next “You, my love, are the future of House Stark. Who should the North rally behind, true born daughter of Ned and Catelyn Stark, born here at Winterfell, or a motherless bastard, born in the South?” It make Sansa believe that they will choose her over Jon, which is the way it should have gone. But Petyr knew that they would choose Jon, as he was the leader of the battle and took down the Boltons. It didn’t matter that Petyr had saved their asses in the hour of need, the lords still see Jon as the one who saved the North.

Now, when Sansa and Petyr are brushed off after the battle by the liege lords and by Jon, who said no thanks Petyr or Sansa for saving his ass, Sansa realizes that she will never be as respected as Jon. Although she is the only surviving heir, besides Bran and Arya whom she does not know if they are alive or dead, the lords will still side with Jon.

Sansa now knows how hungry she is for power and Petyr can give that to her. He called her ‘my love’. She knows how much power she has over him at this point. The Littelfinger mask has slipped and she saw his true desires. He wants her, and of course by denying his kiss, she still holds power over him as well.

Now that Jon is King In The North, that leaves Petyr in a precarious position. He said it himself, “Every time I’m faced with a decision I close my eyes and see the same picture. Whenever I consider an action, I ask myself: will this action help to make this picture a reality? Pull it out of my mind, and into the world. And I only act if the answer is yes.” So he will do anything to make the picture in his mind a reality, anything.

If I were to take a guess at what his next move will be, he will reenforce the idea in Sansa’s mind that he will do anything for her. He will reenforce that the lords chose Jon and not her. He will watch Sansa make her own decision as to what move she favors. She could turn against Jon and leave Winterfell with Petyr, she most certainly will confront Jon about what happened with the liege lords pledged to serve him. I believe Petyr will follow her lead and make his decisions from there.

For all we know, Sansa could come to him in episode one of season seven and say “Give me what I desire.” and boom, Petyr will give her what she desires, his dick, The Iron Throne. Sansa got a taste of power and now she wants more, and Petyr is her key to more power.

↳ But prominent families often forget a simple truth, I’ve found. And which truth is that? Knowledge is power.

Sansa giving Jon that cloak spoke volumes. Not only was she proudly showing off her position as a Stark and representing the strength and power of her house by wearing the direwolf sigil, but she was also communicating to Jon his own position as a member of House Stark: the leader.

Jon has grown up a bastard child, always reminded that he was only “half” Stark and never truly feeling like a full part of the family. By giving him a cloak “like the one father used to wear,” Sansa affirmed that he is her brother and a crucial member of the family, while also suggesting that it is up to him to take the place of Ned as the head of the house.

Sophie Turner - JONSA

Sophie Doesn’t think Sansa has her sights on the Iron Throne. But isn’t sure she believes Jon is capable of running Winterfell

There’s always a bit of sibling rivalry between Sansa and Jon; there has been since they were very young,” Turner said

I don’t think Sansa thinks Jon is fit to run the North. He doesn’t have the intellect, or the savvy that she has. And I concur

Sansa didn’t tell Jon (about the Vale knights) because she wanted all the credit and it was a more dramatic moment when they all showed up.  And it made for better television

Sophie says to showrunners that if they make anything happen between Jon and Sansa she will kill them ( after fan ask about Jon liking redheads )

Sophie Turner - Creepyship

I think that look between Sansa and Littlefinger is her kind of acknowledging that his points are somewhat legitimate, and she’s kind of intrigued as to that pretty little picture that he painted of him on the Iron Throne and her by his side.

Sophie wants LF on iron throne. I think it would be fun and quirky! Massive boos

She looks at Littlefinger knowing that he would have put her as Queen in the North, and given her the credit she deserves. I don’t think she’s gunning for the Iron Throne anytime soon, but she realizes that Littlefinger might be a better ally than she thought, a more trustworthy ally than she thought.
