you can rest easy knowing hedwig was well looked after in the afterlife; it was confusing and terrifying and sad at first but a little while after arriving she felt a light weight on her head and looked up to find her boy, harry potter, staring warmly down at her and smoothing out her feathers, just like he always did
except… he had hazel eyes? and he looked a bit older than hedwig remembered, and who was that red-haired woman with him?
hedwig is confused again. but harry is here, and all is well, so she tucks her head under her wing and falls fast asleep.
wizarding places → eeylops owl emporium & magical menagerie. eeylops owl emporium was described as being relatively small, and dark inside, probably because owls are nocturnal creatures. on the outside of the shop, many different colors and species of owls hung in cages, watching all of the passersby. meanwhile, the magical menagerie is a very cramped and noisy shop with every inch of wall covered by cages. it sells all kinds of animals - poisonous orange snails, a giant jewel-encrusted tortoise, sleek black rats that are very intelligent, owls, ravens, cats of every colour, puffskeins, a transforming rabbit and much more.
✨I just read that less than 1 in 80,000 babies are born in the amniotic sack: En Caul Birth✨ what a magical little being!!
When I started pushing there was a little green balloon coming out of my yoni that gradually kept getting bigger and bigger. None of us knew what it was, at first we thought it was the head… Then realized it felt like a water balloon. I got on the ground in squat position and in a few big pushes Pueo came out fully in the sack all at ONCE!
((Will share the full birth story soon!!!))

A little little owl! This juvenile little owl arrived at the centre today after being found alone. Sadly, despite significant efforts, no sign of the nest or parents could be found. He is uninjured, but too small to go back to the wild just yet, and so we need your help! Little owls at this age become imprinted very easily and this one needs a friend to stay with until it can be released. Do any other rescue centres have a little owl to pair up with ours? He urgently needs a friend! Please share this far and wide; hopefully he can find a companion soon!
