little kid couple

i’m in my prime,
not withering and old.
but i refuse to play
your wicked games any longer.

i know this tether is unbreakable,
but you make me feel like i’m interchangeable.
you drew a target on my heart,
when did this become fatal attraction?

i don’t have the strength,
the energy,
nor the patience
to be held hostage by your love.

so baby please don’t despair
when i say that
i’ve found the courage to
let you go.

you were never meant to be tied down in the first place.

—  believing i could love you was my mistake, c.j.n.

Ok so there was this older lady who sat in front of us at the house show I went to. She was maybe in her 50s or 60s. She spent the entire first match and half of the second match standing, so me and my oldest sister couldn’t see. It finally took the security guy by our section and someone screaming “down in front” to get this lady to sit down. I missed the awesome Braun/Sami match because of it. He put Sami through a table too. D:

Later, The Club came out. My brother-in-law screamed something because he likes to heckle wrestlers. :p Anyway, the same lady had the nerve to then turn around and say “YOU KNOW, THAT WAS MY EAR YOU SCREAMED INTO. BUT IT’S OK.” My oldest sister almost lost her shit right then and there. So to be annoying, we could mark for everyone she booed for. I think she was upset that Roman wasn’t there because she had a Roman shirt on and she left right after Seth came out for the main. lmfao.

But there was a lady with a kid who looked like he was 5/6 years old. He kept banging his feet on the floor of our section we were in. It was kinda like bleachers because we were in the Ice Area part of the building. It’s where the Rush play their games. Anyway, some dude started screaming at this kid’s mom about the kid banging his feet and he was really rude and he was swearing and shit. It was crazy. Finally, another person got in and went off on both of them.

Then, there was a group of little kids and their mom who were in the section in front of us, which was the floor section. They brought signs and spent the whole night waving their signs around. Keep in mind, they keep the crowd dark for house shows. It’s not like a PPV or Raw/SD where there are lights on the crowd. So the people in the ring couldn’t see these signs. She had a Sami one, a Seth one, and the kids both had ones that said “Charlotte is 💩” and they drew a bunch of poo emojis on their signs. They almost got kicked out for obstructing the view. It was a mess. There were a couple little kids cosplaying as Nakamura and Bayley though. That was p cute. But yea, crazy shit went down. One of my friends said a couple fans that were sloshed got into it in the parking lot after the show and one almost got hit by a car too. Mess.

You’re Gorgeous: Josh Dun x Reader fanfic

A/N: Okay if any of you are anything like me, you’ll still be wishing it was Halloween and you’re not even ready to think about Christmas. Sorry this took so long to get too, geez. Lol it’s snowing right now, but Josh fluff is perfect for any season, so let’s just roll with it… love you guys and thank you xoxo

Since it’s getting colder out I was wondering if I could request a Josh Dun x reader where the reader wears his sweaters and they cuddle and play outside with the leaves or something. Everything you write is so amazing and I’m a big fan or your work!

“Wake up babe,” Josh nudged you lightly. You had fallen asleep on the couch together eating leftover Halloween candy and watching a horror movie. While the movie kind of freaked you out a little, Josh’s arms were so comforting, and you couldn’t help but slowly drift off into sleep. “Hey y/n, it’s time to get up.”

“I’m comfy,” you whined, snuggling up beside him. “Don’t want to move.”

“But then how are we going to get caramel apples?” he raised an eyebrow. Your eyes opened, you sitting up, staring at him, excited.

“Caramel apples?” you raised your eyebrows.

“Yeah,” Josh laughed. “That woke you up alright.”

“Come on, let’s get dressed,” you decided, tugging him off the couch and traveling to the bedroom. You decided to put on some leggings, a tank top, and you slid on one of Josh’s sweaters, earning a playful glare.

“Is that mine?” a smile curled on the side of his lips.

“Maybe,” you admitted. “But it’s so cozy and it’ll keep me warm.”

“It is a bit chilly out,” Josh sighed, slipping on a sweatshirt himself. “I guess I’ll let you slide.”

“Thank you,” you giggled, and he hugged you tight.

“Let’s go,” he suggested. “Maybe we can even get pumpkin pie while we’re at it.”

“That’s a lot of sweets,” you reminded.

“There’s never too much,” he argued. You guys drove to the farmer’s market downtown, something your town had set up every time it got to be around autumn. Josh turned up some of your favorite music, you leaning back in the shotgun seat, one of his hands holding yours, both of you humming along to the song. Something caught the corner of your eye, the Starbucks sign at the side of the road, and you tugged on Josh’s sleeve.

“Hey, I hear it’s PSL season,” you hinted. “Aren’t you tempted just a little?”

“Fine, one small detour,” he agreed with a smile. After picking up delicious Starbucks, you finally arrived at the farmer’s market. There were little children with their families picking out pumpkins, scouts selling baked goods, and a light chill in the air. Red, orange, and golden leaves littered the ground, warm apple cider being sold in mugs, and plenty of scarves and boots. It was definitely fall.

“Everything’s so pretty,” you grinned, taking in the sight. “It’s like stepping into a fairy tale.”

“Yeah, it’s really gorgeous,” Josh nodded, putting his arm around you as you walked down the street. “But it will never be as gorgeous as you.”

“Shut up,” you teased, kissing him on the cheek. “You’re such a flirt.”

“Sure,” he rolled his eyes. “I’m the flirt.”

“Whatever,” you laughed. “Let’s go find the caramel apples.”

After passing by the kettle corn, cobbler, pork roast, sweet potatoes, and soups, you finally spotted the table full of caramel apples. “Awesome,” Josh smiled. “Go pick out four, that way we can give some to Tyler and Jenna.”

“Are you sure you’re not going to eat them all?” you joked, picking up one and holding it out to him.

“I’m sure,” he promised, pulling out money from his pocket and handing it to you. “I’m going to go buy a basket and grab a pumpkin pie.”

“Great,” your eyes lit up. “Let’s meet by that tree over there when we’re done. Okay?”

“Yup,” Josh nodded. He gave you a kiss on the head before taking off, leaving you to choose a couple of caramel apples. You picked out several before going to the register, greeting the old lady before handing him the cash.

“I saw you with that young man with the pink hair,” she chuckled. “You two seem very friendly.”

“He’s my boyfriend,” you informed with a laugh.

“He must be very sweet,” she gave a fond smile. “It’s so nice to see young love in the air. Young couples are so adorable to watch.”

“Yeah, he’s extremely sweet,” you agreed as she handed you the apples in a small crate and your change. “Thanks so much. You have a great day.”

“You too, sweetheart,” the old lady waved you goodbye. You walked over to the tree, spotting Josh sitting underneath it, basket beside him, talking to a couple little kids. A smile spread on your face as you approached him.

“I want to play drums too,” a little boy in a sweatshirt told Josh.

“That’s awesome,” Josh grinned. “I bet you’d be great.”

“Who’s this?” a little girl with pigtails wondered, looking up at you as you sat beside Josh.

“Y/n?” Josh laughed, turning to face you. “This is the love of my life.”

“What?” the girl tilted her head to the side in confusion.

“Josh is my boyfriend,” you rolled your eyes.

“Oh,” her eyes lit up. “Are you married?”

“No,” you frowned.

“Hopefully one day,” Josh replied, nudging you slightly.

“Yeah,” you giggled. “One day.”

“You should play with us,” the boy in the sweater decided. “It will be fun.”

“What do you think, y/n?” Josh raised his eyebrow. “Up for a little bit of playtime?”

“Absolutely,” you chuckled. You placed the candy apples in the basket and the little girl helped pick you up from the ground and led you guys towards a small park. Josh carried the basket, as well as the little boy on his shoulders, and you glanced at him. He’d be such a good dad. He was so good with kids and full of laughter and love, you’d love to start a family with him one day.

“Do you love Josh too?” the little girl wondered, tapping on your leg. “He said you were the love of his life.”

“Yeah,” you nodded. “I love Josh very much.”

“That’s really nice,” she beamed. “I hope I fall in love one day too.”

“You will,” you reassured. “Everyone does eventually.”

“That’s gross!” the little boy exclaimed overhearing your conversation. “Girls have cooties.”

“Oh just you wait,” Josh laughed. “You’ll change your mind about that later.”

“Here we are!” the little girl exclaimed, spinning around in circles happily, racing towards a pile of leaves before jumping in it.

“Come on,” the little boy begged when Josh put him down. “Play in the leaves with us.”

“I don’t know, buddy,” Josh contemplated it. “It might get a little messy.”

“Please?” he gave him sad puppy dog eyes, and Josh couldn’t resist.

“Okay,” he complied. “Let’s go play in the leaves. You going to join us, y/n?”

“Of course!” you giggled, letting your little kid side out for a bit.

“Yay!” the little boy laughed, racing towards the leaf pile and jumping in it.

“You ready?” you turned towards Josh, extending your hand.

“Heck yeah,” he smiled, intertwining his fingers with yours as you both raced towards the leaf pile, barely big enough for the two of you to jump in. You laughed as the leaves crunched underneath the two of you, the two kids cheering happily, the little boy sprinkling leaves on the tops of your heads and the little girl trying to scoop up the leaves on the sides to make the pile even bigger.

“You have a little something in your hair,” you joked.

“No kidding,” Josh rolled his eyes playfully. He moved closer to you, surprise tackling you until you were covered in leaves.

“Ah! Josh!” you cried, both of you laughing as he kissed you on the lips. He pulled away and the two of you grinning. “You’re so sneaky.”

“You’re so gorgeous,” Josh smiled.

“Whatever,” you smirked, deciding to get revenge and you tackling him this time, pushing him into the leaves with a hug.

“Oh gosh, y/n!” he shrieked, and you giggled, before feeling someone else hug you from behind, and another person.

“Group hug!” the little girl announced.

“Dog pile!” the little boy insisted.

“I think there’s a huge difference between a group hug and a dog pile,” you chuckled.

“It doesn’t matter,” Josh shook his head. “We’ve got little friends and lots of sweets, comfy sweaters and fall leaves, and love is in the air. And I’ve got you, that’s all I could ever ask for. Right?”

“Was that an attempt at a really shitty poem?” you raised your eyebrows and tried not to laugh.

“An attempt,” Josh blushed.

“You’re ridiculous,” you laughed, kissing him on the cheek.

“You’re gorgeous,” he insisted.

“I love you,” you giggled.

“Love you too, y/n,” Josh grinned.

5 years ago:

“I don’t like this. I don’t like this. I really don’t-”

“Aedion,” Lysandra turned her sharp eyes to the blonde male next to her. “Shut up.”

“All he knows what to do is complain, Lys.” Aelin rolled her eyes, a smirking as she gripped her cousin’s arm tighter. “He’s a child.”

“I hate you both, right now,” Aedion said through clenched teeth. He stared down at his feet, not even bothering to look up at the girls. “Almost as much as I hate ice skating.”

At that moment, Aedion’s feet started to slip out from under him. Lysandra and Aelin grabbed his arms tighter and straightened him up as they continued to glide along. Aedion grumbling under his breath some more as the girls shared a look before shaking their heads.

The sound of skates sliding to a stop caused Aelin to look to her left. A giant smile broke out of her face as Rowan slowed down next to her.

“How’s the personal assistant duties going?” Rowan glanced over at Aedion, a wicked spark in his eyes as his lips turned up.

“Like I said,” Aedion watched his feet as they glided against the icy surface. “I really hate this idea.”

Aelin rolled her eyes, a smile on her lips as she glanced over at Aedion. “And like I said. You’re a child.”

Rowan let of a deep laugh as his gloved hand reached for Aelin’s.

“I hate to leave you down to one assistant, Aedion,” Rowan said. “But do you mind if I steal Aelin from you?”

Aedion simply grumbled, saying sure before complaining more about skating. Aelin glanced at Lysandra once, just to make sure it was okay. When the black haired beauty nodded with a smile, now grabbing onto Aedion with both hands, Aelin let go and went off with Rowan.

They skated around the loop a few times, holding hands and laughing. They weaved in and out of other couples, little kids, and elders. At one point, Rowan decided to would be funny to pick up some speed, dragging Aelin along as she laughed, halfheartedly telling him to stop. Only when they almost took some kids off their feet did Rowan slow down again and the continued around the loop.

“Where did you learn to skate?” Aelin asked after a few moments of comfortable silence around the loop.

“My cousins and I would skate on the pond behind my house when we were growing up,” Rowan explained, a smile lighting up his face as he glanced down at Aelin. “We loved hockey.”

“I’m not surprised,” Aelin laughed. “You Whitethorns are a competitive bunch.”

Rowan chuckled as they moved out of the way of some kids speeding past them.

“What about you?” Rowan looked down at Aelin with a wicked smirk on his face. “Where did the great Aelin Galathynius learn to skate?”

“Well,” Aelin slowed to a stop, leaning against the boards that were set up around the rink. “I am amazingly good at everything.”

Rowan placed one hand on the boards behind Aelin, leaning in closer. “Modest too.”

“I never claimed that.” Aelin smirked.

Rowan hummed. He was so close, she could feel his breath in her face as he let out a deep chuckle. All it took was for Aelin to lean forward an inch or so and her lips found his.

She was very happy to stay in that position. She didn’t care how many kids were around, how many people were watching. Aelin smiled into the kiss as Rowan pulled her closer. But that smile fell at the sound of an all too familiar voice suddenly speaking up.

“For gods sake you two, get a freaking room.”

Aelin sighed dramatically, her and Rowan pulling apart. Rowan stepped to the side, so he was standing next to Aelin. With Rowan out of the way, Aelin saw the white-haired beauty that spoke.

“You’re a pain in my ass, you know that, Manon?”

Manon’s red lips pulled back in a smirk. “I wouldn’t want to be anything else.”

Aelin glared at the woman before her. She watched as Dorian rolled his eyes, playing an arm around Manon’s shoulders.

“We were wondering if you guys were ready to go?” Dorian told them. “My toes went numb a few minutes ago.”

“Sure,” Aelin nodded, Rowan placing his arm on the board behind her. “I think Lys said something about getting hot chocolate or something when we were done.”

“Yes please. Let’s get out of here.”

Hearing Aedion’s voice, they all turned. And Aelin couldn’t tell who looked more ready to leave. With Aedion holding onto the boards with one hand and Lysandra holding his other arm, they both looked ready to murder someone.

“Trust me,” Lysandra watched as Aedion pulled himself off the ice and over the boards when they reached the others. “I would have pushed your ass over the boards an hour ago if you asked.”

“You guys ready to get out of here and get some hot chocolate?” Dorian asked, a hint of laughter in his voice.

“Wait!” Lysandra looked away from Aedion. The annoyance in her voice suddenly gone. “We need to get a picture!”

No one had the heart to argue with her. Not when they knew what Lysandra’s mood swings were like. And because of Aedion, she was already in a mood.

“Get back on the ice, Aedion.” Aelin told her cousin with an eye roll as they all stood next to the boards.

“But my feet hurt.”

Aedion looked ready to grumble some more, but he caught Lysandra’s stare. Taking a deep breath in through his nose, Aedion stood up from the bench he was sitting on and made his way back towards the boards.

Rowan wrapped his arm around Aelin’s shoulders as they crowded around the camera. Lysandra held up her arm, flipping the camera on her phone around so they could all see themselves.

Just as the camera went off, Aedion jumped down off the boards. But his feet slipped out from under him. He landed flat on his ass, taking Manon out as he went down.

Everyone froze, watching on as Aedion watching Manon with wide eyes while she stared back with her ultimate death glare. They all held their breath, just waiting for Manon to go off at Aedion.

It was only when Lysandra let out a booming laugh did everyone look away from the two on the ground.

Lysandra didn’t speak. She couldn’t speak. Not between the teary eyed laugh she was giving off as she turned her phone around for everyone to see.

The picture was of Aedion and Manon in mid fall as Lysandra smiled brightly at the camera. Dorian had his arms held out, as if going to catch Manon before she hit the ice. While Aelin and Rowan watching on with faces of disbelief, Rowan’s arm wrapped tightly around Aelin’s shoulders.

And as Dorian let out a laugh loud enough to rival Lysandra’s, and as Aelin joined in, followed by Rowan, then Aedion - even Manon cracked a smile - Aelin decided this was her new favourite photo.

The Poisonous Apple (Boss! Jimin x reader)

Genre: Fluff

Word Count: 1,738

A/N: So this is my first try at pure fluff, and it didn’t turn out the way I wanted to or as well as I had hoped, but I certainly did my best. I hope you all enjoy and thank you for reading!

Summary: He was a poisonous apple as long as all you had was mindless intimacies, but if you consume poison long enough does it start being sweet? Or was it ever poison in the first place?

A drunken Snow White I met on Halloween once told me, “If you take a bite of a poisonous apple often enough, it starts to taste like a delicate ripe fruit.”

He is my poisonous apple.

Park Jimin is everything I shouldn’t want and everything I need in one human.

“The boss’s son is here!” My coworkers hushed voice pulled me out of my trance. She was gushing, “What if he looks our way like last time?”

I blinked, “He-WHAT?!” I lifted my head from my cubicle desk.

The boss’s son.

Park fucking Jimin.

Jimin is the poisoned apple in my life. He’s so beautiful, but he is nothing but trouble for any fool who takes a bite. I am that fool. You see, he and I have been in a certain arrangement for a year that started with his typical flirting which then lead to more private sessions. Those private sessions led to messy feelings for both parties, and we are currently in a bit of a not a couple’s quarrel.

I am shamefully easily enchanted, and Jimin looked like he came from a fairy tale: he had a successful job, good looks, and charisma no one could deny. And with all that, I ended up here in a sour mood and a broken heart after he said we could only measure up to “good friends” title-wise.

“I know! He’s so hot!” Hongra squealed, “How does my hair look?” She patted down her artificial blonde hair.

“How can you be so calm when the real boss is making employee cuts?” I sighed.

“Oh, y/n. You didn't’ hear? The son is taking over this branch now. He’ll be our new boss! Oh, I could just die!” She wore a goofy smile on her mesmerizing face.

“I’d prefer if I didn’t lose a worker by death the first day I come.” A silky smooth voice that made me stomach churn came from behind Hongra as she jumped, “Also they’re not cuts, just forced transfers to our new branch where my father moved.”

She blushed profusely as Jimin leaned on my side of the cubicle, “I’m sorry, Mr. Park. I’ll get back to work.” Hongra spoke briskly as she scurried back to her cubicle.

“Ms. L/n, can I speak to you?” Jimin looked at me with a shining glint in his eye.

I’m so fired.

“Yes, sir.” I stood up as we walked to his office with my wobbly knees.

As we entered the large office with the blinds closed, I crossed my arms, “Do it.” I huffed as he turned to me, “Fire me.”

“Baby,” He placed my hands in his as he walked backward to lean on his mahogany desk, “I’m not going to fire you.” He cooed.

I tsked, throwing his hands down, “Then what is it? I have a lot of work to do.”

“No, you don’t.” He smirked knowingly. I sighed, he wasn’t wrong. My work was fairly easy to finish early.

“Why am I here, Mr. Park?” I snapped as he put a hand over his chest to feign hurt at my formality, “I don’t have time for friendly interactions during work hours.”

At my words, his mischievous glint dulled. This was a shock to me. Poison doesn’t soften, so why was he suddenly losing that toxic look?

“Baby, don’t be like that.” He whined, grabbing my hands again, “Are you still mad about that little thing-”

“Where I said I wanted us to be something, you came on my stomach, and then said I was a good friend?” I recalled bitterly, “Yeah, pretty pissed.”

He sighed, “Y/n?” Jimin gave me his puppy eyes.

“No, I refuse to feel like some cheap whore,” I pouted, “Either you want to be something or you don’t.”

“Now don’t you pout baby girl,” He raised his hand to have his thumb lightly push my lip in, “Tell me exactly what you want.”

I could feel myself heating up under his mere touch, “I told you,” My voice had gone undeniably softer, “I want us to be official.”

When Jimin had picked me up for the first time, you’d think I’d be the toxins in his fruit with the scandal of me being an employee, but we had initially intended our relations to be discreet. Even though I warned him I fall easily, he insisted we try to keep it casual, but of course, my dumb ass isn’t capable of casual.

He nodded as if I offered him a business deal and he was taking it under mild consideration, “How do you feel about me?”

My eyes immediately casted down as my cheeks flushed, “Please don’t make me confess again.”

The way he looked at me was spellbinding. I couldn’t look away from his burning eyes filled with so much passion, but was that passion for me or my body? I was in a trance, and he was happily leading himself closer and closer to my lip.

“Tell me how you feel.” He mused, “Come on, baby.” He brought his hand to my face to stroke my cheek with his thumb.

I blinked, breaking free from his toxic clutch, and threw his hand down, “Stop that. I’m not here to feed your ego, “ I hissed, “You know what? I love you!” I snapped, “And we’re done.” I made my way out of the office only to feel a hand close itself around my list.

“I love you, y/n!” I sighed, wiggling my arm free.

I huffed, “Do you even know what couples in love do?” He just stared at me, “They have fun movie nights and snuggle, not make out to whatever is on HBO. They shyly hold hands in the street, not make out in an alleyway. They do stupid love stuff, not stupid lust stuff.” I sighed, “Now is not the time. I have work to do.” I bowed then left the room with a heavy and beating heart.

After work, I decided to treat myself to some shitty romance comedy with some sweet ice cream due to the emotional turmoil a black haired demon brought upon me. I was halfway done with a tissue box when the doorbell rang, causing me to put my ice cream on the coffee table while I brushed off my gray sweatpants and a baggy black t-shirt.

Upon opening the door, I immediately wanted to slam it.

Low and behold a sinfully beautiful being stood in my doorway rocking the same general outfit as me, except he made it look fit for an Adonis like himself. I groaned as I studied him, “What?” I stomped like a little kid.
“Cute, we have couple outfits.” He smirked and I tried to shut the door, but he stopped it with his foot. It was then he pulled out a caramel apple adorned with delicious sprinkles, “You once said giving you a candy apple was ensuring a yes to a future marriage proposal.” His head was cast mostly down to his the red tint dusting his cheeks.

Where was all of this coming from? I hesitantly grabbed the apple from his grasp, “What’s with the sudden change of heart?” I questioned suspiciously, “Is this your way of telling me I’m fired?!” I gasped, “Park Jimin if you think that giving me an apple will make up for making me jobless then you-” I was cut off by the softest kiss that had ever been planted on my lips.

It was different from the usual lust-filled toxic ones. This one was the sweetest I had ever tasted. Jimin brought his hand up to hold the back of my head while his other hand anchored itself on my hip as he guided me backward into my home, closing the door as he stepped into the threshold of my habitat. The kiss broke apart naturally, and we were still left panting for more of each other, “So, “Jimin gave me his rare warm smile, “What are we watching?”

It was a new feeling. My heart was pounding for some reason as Jimin sat next to me on the sofa. I had been with him so many times, not to mention in much more intimate ways, but never like this, like an actual couple. As we watched the movie, my leg was nervously bouncing. Upon noticing this, he placed his hand lightly on my knee, stroking his thumb lightly on my skin, “What’s wrong, baby?” He mused, placing a kiss on my shoulder.

“N-Nothing.” I blushed as I stuttered. With that, he nodded as he wrapped his arm around your waist, pulling me closer to him. His hand brushed my own, and it felt electricity shot through me, causing me to bite down on the apple I had been eating. However, the sprinkled fell onto my shirt as the apple’s juices dripped down my chin.

My eye’s widened in a moment of panic while I put the apple on the plate I set out on the coffee table as I made the mistake of looking up at him with all the mess still on my face. Jimin chuckled a little but as he wiped some of it off my chin using his other hand, “God, you’re so beautiful, y/n.” He spoke genuinely.

“Shut up,” I whined as I hit his chest with my hand, which he caught and intertwined with his own.

“Do you know how long I’ve been in love with you? How many times I wanted to tell you? And the one time you said it, I fucked it up, because I was scared.” I looked up at him to meet his eyes, “I was scared you’d eventually realize I’m not that great or find someone better-”

“There’s no one better.” I added, “Do you want to know when I realized it? The night it was a big storm and you sang me to sleep. Not during sex or a fancy dinner, just on a night like this.”

“Y/n, I love you.” He spoke softly while he looked into my eyes as shivers went down my spine, “Will you officially be mine?”

I nodded excitedly, “I love you too, Jimin.” I gave him a brisk kiss that quickly turned into anything but brisk as the night turned into anything but sleeping, but this time, it meant something.

It’s moments like these where I wonder if he ever was poison at all. Maybe he was just an apple too stubborn to ripen. Either way, all I have now is a sweet fruit I wish to keep in my grasp.

when the title card for power rangers came up on the cinema screen i heard this little kid a couple rows behind me audibly gasp and say “power rangerssss”. i had to like, clutch my chest cos i was like oh god this adorable little bastard is getting so hyped like i would get so many years ago.
