In cheerier news, I’m at my undergrad college’s commencement (not my reuinion, but I live nearby), and I found some sweet earrings in the free pile that appear to be shaped like rowan berries. I’m going to try to work them into some sort of super-subtle literary allusion outfit - because that’s a thing I do.
I’m not a librarian, but I can dress the part! Feeling adorbs in my head to toe literary outfit! Ok my skirt may have cats on it, but hey that’s kind of my my thing.
I’m a size 18 and lately I have felt uncomfortable in my body but I am learning to dress in pieces that normally I wouldn’t go for, like skirts and make them work! I’m trying to branch out from my ‘a-line dress’ only attire.
When you don’t have an hourglass figure, as a plus size person I find it hard to feel beautiful in things that cling to my curves because they aren’t 'stereotypically sexy’. Not everyone who is fat has wide hips or a small waist like 'plus size pinup’ and I am learning to work with what I have and strut my stuff.
