He observes Tetsurou’s dark circles when he comes home from work every night, in turn kissing them all, a silent “i’m glad to be home”. Tetsurou never complains, though. He loves teaching little kids about chemistry and physics and the secrets of the universe. But Kenma knows he likes it best when he’s wearing a pair of ratty old sweats, eating popcorn and laughing at really bad movies with the rest of them. And he always brings back leftover candy from school.
He observes Keiji’s mouth, a slight droop of lips indicating his discomfort at having to work overtime at the hospital. Keiji never complains, though. He loves helping people. But Kenma knows he likes it best when he’s at home, absorbed in a good book, his head on one of their laps, enjoying one of the quieter moments with the rest of them. And he always brings back flowers that remind him of them.
He observes Koutarou from a distance, a star shining almost too bright to look at directly. But he sees the sagging of his shoulders, an indication of self doubt and dejection. Koutarou doesn’t complain about it, though. He loves playing volleyball and he knows his students look up to their coach, a figure of strength and resilience. But Kenma knows that no matter how spirited Koutarou might appear to his students, he likes it best when he is sitting under the blankets with the rest of them, late at night, talking about the latest ghost story he’s heard from his students, an act that always always leads to cuddling. And he always hugs them all so hard, lifting them off their feet and planting a kiss with a plop on their cheeks.
Where does Kenma find himself in this equation? How does he show his love, when he can’t even say the words “i love you”? Maybe he doesn’t have to.
Everything ends either has a reason or none. Some things or
some people enter your life to leave you a scar or anything that could make
your life stronger, but some things enter your life in a pointless way. Yes,
not all things and not all people that come to your life are valuable. Quite often, there’s always someone who would make you laugh, make
you smile, make you feel like you’re too important to them, and make you feel
what really love is. But at the end, everything is pointless. Everything ends
up to nothing as if you’ve never been loved, as if you’re a toy that used to
enjoy him, or as if you’re some stuff that could be thrown away. Love. It only
matters if either of you is able to stay or is strong enough to carry every
trouble that would come somehow.
This playlist is simply for people who’ve been lied on,
who’ve been cheated on, who’ve been hurt, and who’ve been left behind without any reasonable words. This is to encourage us all that anything that comes
could be pointless. Enough with the sayings “I met him just for a reason” and
“someone comes either a blessing or a lesson,” because everyone that leaves is
pointless! Yes, and if you acknowledge someone who has just left as a lesson,
then you’re pathetically weak.
This entry isn’t only a LANY-appreciation entry but rather an out-of-my-insanity one that tells I’m probably stress for being still single. I’m quite stress on the part that I’ve been already living 19 years in this planet but still never had the chance to meet someone valuable. Most of my friends are getting into romantic relationships and I’m still here wishing that at least there would someone pass by and find me hella cute. Nobody likes me and everyone I like doesn’t like me back.
I’m recommending this band – Lany for those who are on the
same deal as me. They’re music is incredibly spectacular to such way that their
songs are all ‘bout love as the most risky thing in life. It’s like they are
all written only for those who are dying for being stressed out about love but make them
stronger and stand up for it. Yes, everytime I listen to each of their songs,
it feels inspiring because each has well-written deep lines and makes me think
that love is just meant to be this way and we cannot do anything about it.
After all, love is love. Everything would be worth it if you’ve done it through love. Read more to listen to some of their songs.
