Once again, thank you everyone for always showing NCT your limitless love and support! Good luck, remember to drink water and have a great day~ ♡

The fist clenched round my heart
loosens a little, and I gasp
brightness; but it tightens
again. When have I ever not loved
the pain of love? But this has moved

past love to mania. This has the strong
clench of the madman, this is
gripping the ledge of unreason, before
plunging howling into the abyss.

Hold hard then, heart. This way at least you live.

Derek Walcott, “The Fist,” Collected Poems, 1948-1984 (Farrar, Straus, and Giroux, 1986)

If one never forgets the”first”

Sure, she’d have been my bride,
Someday –
Promised and carved in oak.
And sure, I’d have been her groom,
Someday –
But epochs come and go,
Papyrus fades and presses fail;

All and parallel the coma wished for –
Prisons beholden broken records
That make the memories hurt;
Agony, like a shard of something,
Not in my brain,
But in my everything.

It feels unreal.
I never thought I’d meet somebody like you.
A person who shares his deepest emotions and every part of his personality with me.
A person of whom I’ve never thought of as a lover.
But the more I got to know you the more I fell for you and by now I could swear I already love you even though I can’t call it love in front of you yet.
But my heart knows.
I already know I’m going to write about you. I’m going to let the world know what a wonderful human being you are to me. I want you to be immortal by writing thousands of poems about you.
So let this be the first one, and let me be the greatest poet by writing about your love.
