lisa is mad

                   🍰   🐇 The Wonderland Play List 😺 🍄

(Otherwise known as all my favorite Wonderland related songs)

It’s just a small collection of Alice in Wonderland Related songs, I tried not to add too many songs from the Almost Alice soundtrack since most of you probably already know them. Let me know what you guys think, and message me if there’s anything you want to add!

The saddest ever joke in The Simpsons comes in "Two Dozen and One Greyhounds” when Lisa gets mad about her parents wanting to give away the puppies: “Is that what we do in this family? When someone becomes an inconvenience, we just get rid of them?” *Immediate cut to Abe*

As the writers mention on the commentary: “It’s a depressing joke. We talked about how depressing it was. But it’s accurate.”

“Everyone in this room had a rough childhood. Get over it.”

No. Let me stop and explain why this quote pisses me off so much.

Iris’s mother left her at a very young age. So young that she barely remembers her. But she had a loving and generous father who never let her forget how much he cared for her.

Barry’s mother was killed and his father was taken to prison. But he still had a wonderful relationship with his dad and had a really good family that took him in and gave him everything he ever needed in terms of love.

Leonard Snart had none of this.

Leonard Snart had an abusive father, one who beat and abused both him and his sister, one who never cared about them and would often take out his anger on his own children. His mother is either missing, in jail, or dead, and if she’s dead we can almost wholeheartedly assume that it was because of Lewis. He had to raise Lisa practically his whole life, protect her from their own father, and got into a life of crime to provide for her. He worried about her while he was in prison, probably assuming that Lewis was beating the shit out of her which, in all likelihood, he probably was. He never had anyone who loved him except for Lisa and maybe Mick.

Leonard Snart killed his own father, and even though he hated him, as a child who has been verbally abused her whole life I can say that no matter what you might say, you still have this weird sense of love for your abusers. He killed his own father and probably hated himself because of it.

So no. You cannot tell Snart to “get over it.” You did not have the same childhood he did. You do not have the right to tell him to get over it, just like he can’t tell you to get over yours.

Never, ever tell a victim of abuse to just “get over it.”

“Let’s think positive!”

I got to the end of P2:IS and I cried. I cried big fat tears of rage. At least it ends on a hopeful note.

… Which promptly gets thrown out the window in EP. hahaahahhaa nobody in this game can catch a break

So I finished Undertale and it rose really high into my most memorable game and is now one of my favorites. Undertale is more of a of a psychological game, similar to OFF but I wanted to showcase some of my favorite rpg games (most are horror/psychological horror)
Playing Undertale gave me a nostalgic vibe of Penpal but was it’s own unique and by far the game of the year. If you haven’t played it yet, please do, don’t just watch a playthrough but experience it yourself! I’m going to head into a few more runs eventually. Here are the other games in a master post drawn above in order from left to right:

Misao, Undertale, Ib, The Witch’s House (top), Yume Nikki, The Crooked Man (top), Mad Father, OFF and Lisa (my personal favorite)

While these games are of different genres, they’re all rpg maker and my absolute favorites
