#MEMORYFLOOD, a group exhibition by women exploring how memory shapes identity.  The show features work by 12 women artists working in a variety of disciplines, from painting to sculpture, to installation.

Featuring artworks by Sarah Baizer, Cheryl Edwards, Margo Elsayd, Adrienne Gaither, Pat Goslee, Amal Hassan, Laurel Lukaszewski, Lisa Rosenstein, Imani Russell, Anne Smith, And Ellyn Weiss.

Memory Flood runs August 28 – September 26 at Anacostia Arts Center (1231 Good Hope Road, SE, Washington DC 20020, 202-631-6291, anacostiaartscenter.org) with an opening on August 28 from 6 – 8 pm. Gallery hours are Tuesday – Saturday from 11 am – 7 pm. 

The exhibition is free and open to the public.
