Elegant Animal Sculpture from Natasha Cousens

Natasha Cousens is an artist from New Zealand.  Her animal sculptures feel like trophies, but they incorporate floral and gem elements and veer sharply away from taxidermy.  There is a sense of beauty and elegance about them in their long lines, but that is cut off at the neck. Her works incorporate pottery, fiberglass, and other elements. These complex pieces can take up to 11 months to complete.  You can see more of Natasha’s work on her blog. Thanks to qruda.com.

The man, who combines an easy-going sincerity with flashes of ambition. As his manager Sarah Stennett puts it, he’s “incredibly sensitive, but also very alpha.” Private but not shy, Malik is more or less the “normal 22-year-old” he said he wanted to be in his farewell from the band – frank, easily moved to laughter, occasionally impatient, frequently stoned – but more of a striver than a dreamer. ©
