Neither of them had meant to make their feelings so transparent, but somehow these Amestrians knew (Edward, Greed, Mr. Hohenheim, Alphonse, Dr. Knox… they all had a way of seeing straight through them)
maybe it was something in the way they spoke of each other, or perhaps in the way they protected each other, or in the way they each admired and valued the other
Perhaps the people of this country just have a way of recognizing l o v e when they see it.
Lingfan Week - Making it Public
(repost, because for some reason this never posted in any of the tags, and done a month later because i did not notice at first)
But you accepted that a long time ago, didn’t you Lan Fan?
Day 1 of LingFan Week; prompt: Masks. I am so excited to see what everyone does for LingFan week. I’ve been checking tumblr all day. This piece took me so long to finish, it was a 3 day haul. I haven’t even finished all the prompts, so I may upload pencil sketches to fill in the later days. Ciao!!
Memories | Ling gaining slight consciousness over Greed at the mention of Lan Fan’s name “Your buddy [Ling] asked me to give you this […] He wants you to give it to the woman waiting for him.”
“Master I… need to tell you, please, before you go. You must know that I…”
“Shut up! You think I don’t already know that!”
“Just be quiet and rest. None of that matters right now. This isn’t goodbye.”
Did somebody say Lingfan day?
We’ll call this an outtake from FMA:B. Dramatically, it makes sense for them to have excluded this moment, and don’t get me wrong, I love the way they did the reveal in this scene. But I also kinda think about those minutes before Ling and Lan Fan part ways in the sewer a lot…
There were so many angsty canon possibilities for this prompt that I started feeling really down. Ultimately I decided to go for a slightly different take on it. So here’s Lan Fan sacrificing her time/strength/ease of mobility in order to drag Ling’s sleepy ass out of all kinds of trouble. <3
Any and all fanworks are welcome in a celebration of the pairing of Ling Yao and Lan Fan.
Please tag all contributions with #lingfanday so that they can be reblogged here!
There are several of us running this, so if you have any questions then feel free to ask. Also, if you’re having trouble coming up with an idea, we will be compiling a list of prompts here. If you have suggestions let us know!
Reblog this post to spread awareness, and we look forward to seeing what you come up with.
