Learn some new skills for the new year at the Knowhow shop! In this two-day workshop, you will make your very own set of wooden cooking utensils. Choose between walnut and cherry wood to create and finish up to two cooking spoons, forks, spreaders, muddlers or chopsticks of your design.

This class will cover the basics of how to use the bandsaw, carving and shaping tools, as well as the CNC router. Students will also learn how to make a food-safe all natural wood finish for use on their personalized set of utensils.

Remember the Heriloom Tomato Salad at Marlow & Sons? Recreated with my home grown tomatoes and herbs!

Variety of heirloom tomatoes (Green Velvet, Taxi Cab, Black Boar) + Lemon Thyme/Regular Thyme + Bariani Extra Virgin Olive Oil + Maldon Salt + Fresh cracked pepper + Squeeze of lemon. 

Can be any type of heirloom tomato and any really yum fresh tasting olive oil.  Also. . not pictured but I also tossed some toasted pecans and pinenuts later.

Toss and enjoy! Yay tomato season!!
