lime dresses

I need an episode where a planet is hosting a ball for eveyone and the paladins have to go:

- lance and allura design and sew the paladins outfits bc they can’t find their sizes in space and coran helps a little with the difficult parts, especially buying the materials

- coran gets into a huge fight over space silk and almost dies

- lance, hunk and keith match tuxes but they’re all different colours as they match their lions

- hunk doesn’t wear the bandana and lance almost cries at how beautiful hunk looks like holy shit his shoulders look so good in that tux

- lance is all legs legs legs

- keith gets fustrated at how the his hair kept falling into the collar so he ties it into a pony tail and lance and hunk just gape at him the whole time

- pidge has a very pretty lime green dress with lots of little diamonds at the bottom that hunk had asked shay for. they both spent hours working on her dress because they love seeing pidge happy

- shiro wears a very fancy suit that’s black and gold. it’s a bit tight and lance was freaking out when shiro first tried it on because all his hard work would go to waste if shiro flexed and it ripped

- allura has a magnificent dress that’s all pastel pinks and purples. its full of crystals and it’s off shoulder so she put little gold fake freckles on them. honestly when shay saw her her knees were weak

- coran wears the most obnoxious tux ever and he looks like a wizard. lance takes notes for his next design

“You have to marry.” The words that your nanny had said to you before closing the carriage door reverberated in your ears, plaguing what had been the worst nap you had ever had.

The bumps along the road reminding you how long the different kingdoms had been waiting for this moment, the bethronment between one of the thirteen kingdoms and your own. Before any of you had been born, during the years of treaty, the fourteen kingdoms had decided that on the 100th anniversary of the peace, the oldest princesses would marry one of the chosen princes fromt the other thirteen kingdoms.

It was bullshit, having your destiny decided before you were even born.

The tree branches scratched the carriage, and the greenery seemed like it wanted to invade your personal space. No one had even been down these roads since they had been built, for all you knew you were actually down the road to death. Or worse…sacrifice, but giving up your freedom to some random prince was sacrifice as well, so why not.

The carriage came to a stop and you stole a peek from the curtained windows. Thirteen different carriages circled a fountain that no longer looked in use.

“Princess.” The coach master opened the door and extended his arm to help you down. You looked at your bags which were no longer tied to the roof of the carriage and instead were laid in front of you.

“These will be taken to your room immediately. The princes are already inside as it is time for lunch; they are waiting for you inside the dining hall.” He bowed and walked to the entrance, pausing only long enough for you to get the idea that you were supposed to follow him.

Once inside you realizing how misleading the gothic styled castle had actually been. It was far larger than it had seemed. Medium sized windows with curtains that reached the ground, but a large ceiling dome window that kept natural light inside took your breath away.

“Four floors high madame, of course you will reside on the third floor until your marriage day. The princes will sleep on the second floor.”

“Ah, very well.” You replied stiffly as the stationed butler bowed and lead you toward two tall wooden doors.

Two maids bowed before opening the doors simultaneously, rushed words coming from inside. The energy that had been inside suddenly disappeared and instead a pregnant silence took hold of the atmosphere.

With your ruffled dress, as best you could, you marched inside heading toward the south end of the table, where the queen normally sat. For years you had seen your mother sit confidently in these chairs and know it was your turn.

Your eyes passed over each of the prince in front of you. None of them had chosen to sit on the future king’s chair and you couldn’t help but feel a tad bit hurt.

“Please sit.” You motioned to chairs. It felt like a business meeting from the way that the one at the far left side nodded at the others. He was dressed his kingdoms colors, gray and black that met together in on his military coat; gray coat, black cuffs, and black buttons that swung a string across each one to tie them together.

“We’ll introduce ourselves from oldest to youngest. I’m Prince Seungcheol.” He bowed then sat down.

“Prince Jeonghan.” The prince with a turquoise and white jacket like Prince Seungcheol said then sat down. You quickly gazed at all of them, noticing that they all wore the same type of jacket but in different colors.

“Prince Jisoo.” The salmon-black, brown haired boy said.

“Prince Jun.” The red and black clad boy bowed.

“Prince Soonyoung.” A purple-black boy smiled cheekily.

“Prince Wonwoo.” The tall midnight blue and black boy bowed slightly.

“Prince Jihoon.” The shortest one said, dressed in lime green and white combination.

“Prince Dokyeom.” A ball of sunset orange, black, and smiles grinned in your direction.

“Prince Mingyu.” A shy puppy-like boy smile adorned the tallest one, who was dressed in  peach and white combination.

A figure dressed purely in black, smiled lightly “Prince Minghao.”

A burgundy-black figure clapped him on the back, “I’m Prince Seungkwan,” he smiled gently and nodded at you.

“Prince Hansol.” The boy dressed in light brown and white smiled shyly but met your eyes anyways.

Only one remained, the youngest.

He was about to introduce himself but Prince Jeonghan interrupted him. “That’s our baby! We call him Dino.” He loudly proclaimed, earning himself a red faced boy.

“I’m Prince Chan.” He smiled awkwardly, rubbing his neck with one hand, and sinking into the plush chair. His baby blue and white jacket clashing with his red face.

You smiled at them as they dug into their food. “We look like a circus with all these colors.” They chuckled agreeing with you.

You eyed the soup in front of you, feeling distressed because of the boys in front of you. How were you supposed to choose.

Perfect Night (Jared Kleinman X Reader)

AN; Chubby reader! It’s not the main focus but it’s just a side thing, I guess? I’m sorry this sucks and there aren’t very many descriptive Jared moments. I’ve yet to experience prom, dolls.

WC; 2131

You walked through the hallways with your books in your arms, a smile on your face as you chatted with your friend Zoe. You both walked into your largest class and sat down next to each other, still chatting away until a certain someone caught your attention.

“So yeah, Connor had-” Zoe stopped talking, noticing the blush that covered your face and the way your eyes were shining. She looked in the direction you were staring at and saw Jared Kleinman, sitting next to Connor and Connor’s boyfriend, Evan. She raised her eyebrows in a disgusted manor.

“Really, (Y/N/N)? Kleinman?” Zoe snorted, making eye contact with Alana as she walked in.

“Yeah,” You mumbled, a small smile on your face.

Connor also noticed you staring at Jared, so he hit Jared and pointed at you. Jared turned to you and flashed a smirk, winking at you.

“Oh my, oh my god,” You whispered, turning to Zoe. “Did he just- he just,”

“Hi, Zoe, (Y/n)!” Alana said as she sat down, kissing Zoe’s cheek. Alana noticed you freaking out and looked up at Connor and Evan to see them laughing. Jared was facing you and smirking.

“Were you two flirting again?” Alana grinned, poking fun at you.

“They were practically having eye sex.” Zoe chuckled, making you turn redder and hide your face.

“I seriously hate you two.” You mumbled into your hands.

“Okay, class, quiet down! Lessons are starting now!”

“Zoe, where are we going?” You whined, letting her pull you by the hand.

“Just wait! Be patient!” Zoe said, stopping suddenly. You almost ran into her.

“Ok, ok, sit here!” Zoe shouted excitedly, pushing you onto a bench. You frowned as she ran off, setting your back pack next to you. You uncomfortably tugged on your shirt to make it looser, a habit you had every time you sat down. You sat on the bench for about five minutes, watching the sun slowly start to set. You fidgeted with your hands, slowly getting annoyed.

“Hey,” You heard a voice call out softly, the person sitting next to you.

“Oh, uh, hi Jared.” You squeaked, noticing the flowers in his hands.

“Oh, er, these are for you.” Jared saw you looking at them and handed you the flowers with sweaty hands, a small grin on his face.

You turned red and cradled the flowers close to your chest, smelling them to hide your blush.

“Are you going to prom?” Jared blurted, his eyes focused on you.

“Oh- I- I wasn’t going to. I thought it’d be lame to go alone.” You mumbled, lifting your head up and looking at the sunset.

“Oh.” Jared fidgeted, looking at the sunset with you. “Who did you want to go with?”

You looked at Jared with slight shock. Jared turned his head to you, a stupid smirk on his stupid cute face.

“T-That’s none of your business, Jared!” You teased, a smirk on your face as well.

“Oh yeah?” Jared teased back. “What if I made it my business?”

“And how would you go about doing that?” You asked, a bit of confusion in your voice.

Jared stood up, a smirk still on his face. You held the flowers tightly, hoping this was what you thought it was. Connor and Evan stepped out from behind the tree nearby, snapping a steady beat.

“What the heck I gotta do,” Jared sang, drawing it out. “To be with you.”

AN; Just imagine the rest of the song, I don’t wanna add it lmao ;3

Jared repeated it, having Connor and Evan sing background vocals. Zoe and Alana eventually stepped out and joined the snapping and background vocals.

“So I decided I needed to step my game up.” Jared sang.

“What the heck I gotta do. Who do I have to be, for you to go to prom with me?” Jared finished, his eyes hopeful. Your friends went quiet and waited for your answer. You set the flowers on the bench and launched yourself at Jared, bringing him to the ground in a hug.

“Is that a yes?” Jared said, sitting up and hugging you back.

“Yes, my god, yes!” You laughed, tears gathering at your eyes. Your friends cheered and whooped happily.

“Now, why am I here?” Connor complained from the backseat of the car.

“Connor, we can’t let our dates see our outfits until the night of prom! So us three are going together!” Zoe explained again, glancing in the rear view mirror. You smiled out the window as the car pulled into the mall. Evan, Jared, and Alana had decided to go shopping together while you, Zoe, and Connor went.

“Okay!” Zoe cheered. “We’re here!”

As the three of you walked into the dress shop, you felt worry gathering in your stomach. What if the dresses didn’t fit you? What if they didn’t have your size? Well, Connor would probably get mad and demand they start stocking larger sizes for body equality. Zoe would calmly tell them to get their shit in order and leave. The Murphy siblings were practically your real siblings.

Zoe squealed and immediately ran in, heading towards a rack full of gorgeous prom dresses. Connor smiled at you and pulled you in by your wrist gently.

By the time you both caught up with Zoe she had piles of dresses on each arm, one pile for you and one pile for her. Connor groaned and grabbed the nearest suit and light blue tie to match Evan’s.

You and Jared had agreed on a (f/c) color scheme, Zoe and Alana decided on a pretty lime green theme, and Evan and Connor agreed on black and light blue.

Zoe shoved the pile of dresses into your arms and pulled you to the changing rooms. She sat down in the chair in front of one and pulled Connor into the chair next to her.

“You try all of your dresses on first, and we’ll tell you how they are!” Zoe squealed, her eyes shining happily. You nodded and hesitantly walked into the large changing room, glancing at yourself in the mirror. You tore you clothes off and avoided looking in the mirror until you had the first dress on. The first one fit perfectly but was way too puffy. You stepped out of the dressing room and could tell it was an immediate no by the looks the two were giving you.

“Okay then.” You laughed, heading back into the changing room.

The second dress was way too tight, so you didn’t even go out to show Zoe and Connor. It would’ve been embarrassing.

The next dress was the perfect length and it hugged your top half perfectly. The dress was a strapless heart shaped top with a lacy bottom that just touched the floor. Your waist looked amazing, and you felt very confident. You stepped out of the dressing room with a smile, flaunting around dramatically.

“You look hot, (Y/N)!” Zoe said, a grin on her face.

“No.” Connor said. “You cannot wear that.”

“What? Why?” You asked, your smile fading.

“Jared will be ALL over you, it’s just too hot.” Connor smirked, crossing his arms.

“Perfect.” You said, earning a shocked cough from Connor.

“No! That’s not gonna happen! You HAVE to dance with an imaginary balloon between you two!” Connor demanded, acting like he was your older brother. You stuck your tongue out and mocked him, earning a giggle from Zoe.

You stood on the front steps of the Murphy household, waiting for your dates to arrive.

“Alana says the limo is only two minutes away.” Zoe said, putting her phone in her small handbag. Connor was fidgeting with his hands awkwardly, his hair up in a bun.

“D-Does my tie look alright?” Connor nervously fixed his tie, looking between you and Zoe.

“Yes, Connor, you look amazing.” You smiled, gently hitting him on the arm. Your parents were standing inside, watching you three bond on the front steps. The limo pulled up slowly, and Evan stepped out first. He was wearing a black suit with an adorable blue tie to match Connor. Alana stepped out with a short lacy lime green dress, rocking a silver handbag and flats. Lastly, Jared crawled out, wearing a black suit with a (f/c) tie. Jared smiled at you and stepped up, taking your hand. You blushed and smiled.

“You look absolutely hot, Ms. (L/N).” Jared grinned, gently slipping a (f/c) corsage onto your wrist. You smiled back, your other hand on your chest in a flattered way.

“Why, you’re quite hot too, Mr. Kleinman.” You flirted, letting him lead you to the limo.

“Y-You got us reservations at a pizza place?!” Evan said, laughing slightly.

Jared shrugged and laughed, grabbing your hand to hold it. Connor shook his head at you with a smile.

“This is going to be the best night ever!” Zoe said, pulling Alana into the pizza shop.

“How do you even get reservations at a pizza shop?” Connor mumbled, letting Evan pull him inside. You smiled at Jared and walked in side by side.

“Not only did he make ‘reservations’, he had the pizza premade.” Alana giggled, taking a bite of a slice.

Jared plopped down into the booth, pulling you down into his side. You six ate three whole pizzas, somehow managing to keep your clothes all clean. Jared had one arm around you the whole time, a smile on his face.

“Ugh, who’s ready to go dance the night away?” Jared groaned, his other hand on his stomach.

“Me!” Zoe cried, taking Alana’s hand and running back to the limo.

“How the hell do they do that?” Connor squinted, watching the two girls run away together, full of energy.

“Caffeine, maybe?” Evan said, getting up with you all and heading to the limo.

Jared awkwardly placed his hands on your waist as you placed your hands on his neck. You turned red as you and Jared made eye contact. You stepped forward a bit, your bodies almost touching. Jared’s hands were sweaty and holding you tightly.

“This is,” Jared mumbled. “Wow. Just wow.”

You laughed quietly, looking down and then back up at Jared. The lights were dim, and the disco ball above lit up the room. You stared into Jared’s eyes as the two of you swayed slowly, glancing at his lips slowly.

“C-an I kiss you?” Jared mumbled, his voice cracking.

“My god, yes.” You whispered, leaning in slightly. Jared quickly jerked forward and crashed his lips onto yours, almost bumping his forehead on yours. The kissed lasted longer than it should’ve, and it started to get intense. You both pulled away, your eyes wide.

“Should we-?” You said, not noticing your friends watching you.

“Hell yeah.” Jared said, grabbing your hand and pulling you out the door.

“Where the fuck are they going?” Connor asked, a bit overprotective.

“Probably gonna get laid.” Zoe giggled, dancing with Alana.

“I’m sure they’ll be fine..” Evan mumbled, swaying side to side with Connor. Connor grumbled and pouted, pulling Evan closer.

‘did u make it home last night?’ Connor texted into the group chat with you and Zoe.

‘nope’ You texted back, laying next to a sleeping Jared.

‘good thing your parents aren’t home.’ Zoe added.

‘how do u know?’ You questioned.

‘we came here to check on u but ur clearly at jareds.’ Connor added with a smirk emoji.

‘was he good?’ Connor added, making you groan and turn off your phone.

“Pretty sure I was the best you’ve had.” Jared said, his voice croaking. He scared you, and you dropped your phone on your face.

“Jared!” You cried, giggling. Jared chuckled sleepily and pulled your naked frame into his side. Your face burned red as you insecurely wrapped the blanket around yourself.

“Aw, c’mon, don’t be like that. I saw all of your beautifulness underneath me last night.” Jared smirked, somehow managing to pull himself into the blanket you had wrapped around yourself.

“Shut up, handsome.” You said, burying your face into his neck and wrapping your arms around him.

I’m not good at this...

You had been Chibs old lady for a year now.  It’s 3 months until most of the Sons are out of County when Tara runs into the club house where you and Chibs are hanging out, her hair is in a mess and she holds Thomas in her arms and Abel trailing behind.
“Oh, thank god.  Look I need, I just need a break please, please watch them for a night.”  Tara looks near tears as Chibs stands up immediately and takes Thomas, you and Abel staring at each other.
“What’s wrong?”  You look up to Tara as she runs her fingers through her hair.
“Gemma is driving me crazy and I just.  Shit, I miss Jax.  Just, can you watch them for a night?  Please?”  Tara wipes away a tear and smiles shakily at the two of you.
“No problem Tara.”  Chibs answers and you try to hide the grimace.
“Thank you.  Mommy will get you tomorrow morning ok?  You’re going to have a sleep over with Chibs and (Y/N), ok?  I love you.”  Tara kisses the top of both boys’ heads and thanks you again for taking them.
“You keeping Mom up, little one?”  Chibs rubs Thomas’ back while you and Abel continue the stare off.  “Love?”
“I’m not good with kids.”  You whisper, keeping your voice down while not taking your eyes off of Abel.
“He not going to pounce.”  You can hear the smile in Chibs voice and look up quickly to glare at him.  Tara runs back in to drop off their bags and Thomas’ baby carrier, waving as she runs back out.  Thomas curls his head under Chibs chin and you can’t help but smile at the sight.  You pull up your sleeves and hear a gasp from Abel which causes you to jump.
“I like your arm.”  He whispers and hides behind Chibs leg.  You notice a giant giraffe being dragged behind him.
“Thanks, Abel.”  You look down at your black and white flower sleeve and nod towards the giraffe, “I like your stuffed animal.”  He quickly hides it behind Chibs.
“Alright, let’s go home, yeah?”  Chibs snickers as your face becomes red.  Chibs sets up the boys’ car seats while you put their stuff in the back of your car.  “What’s for dinner tonight, Love?”
“Shit.  I mean shoot.”  You quickly correct yourself when you see Abel staring at you, “well your dad is Jax so I highly doubt you’ve never heard shit before.”
“My dad says Jesus Christ a lot.”  Abel says.
“That he does.”  You smirk down at the kid.  “I was just going to make salad and potatoes.  Are they going to eat that?”
“You and your vegan shit.”  Chibs snickers.  “Also, Thomas is still on milk.”
“Hey, you eat the vegan shit so you don’t have to cook for yourself.”  You push him as he comes closer, smiling down at you.
“If he doesn’t like it, we’ll order pizza, ok?”
“Mommy says pizza is bad for you.”  Abel says, getting into his car seat while Chibs buckles him and Thomas in.
“Well, let’s hope you like salad, huh?”
“SpongeBob doesn’t like salad.”  Abel mumbles.
“You’re right, but you are also not a sponge under the sea, are you?”  You raise your eyebrow at him and he giggles.  You turn in your seat and scrunch your eyebrows at Chibs.  “Was that funny?”
“Aye, love.  You’re doing just fine.  Can you handle them for the 10-minute ride home or do I need to save you from the scary youngins?”
“And let me drive your bike home?”  Your face blew up into a smile that quickly turned into a glare at his laugh.
“See you at home.”
“Asshole.”  You whisper.
“Mommy says that word a lot too.”
You bite your lip to keep from smiling, “I bet she does, Abel.”

You catch Abel looking at your arm again as he colors in his coloring book.  Thomas is playing in his floor jungle thing that Chibs had brought from the club house.  The fries are in the oven for another half hour while the three of you watch Toy Story.  You pull off your sweatshirt, leaving you in a tank top and sit down next to Abel, your arm with your tattoos closest to him.
“You wanna color them in?”  You ask, preparing to sit back and let the kid play.
“Really?”  His eyes start shining as you nod.
“As long as you understand that you can’t do this on random people.  Only if you ask and they say yes, ok?”  Chibs interferes quickly.  Abel nods and gets to work, your back resting against Chibs’ leg.  Soon his fingers start playing with your hair and you begin to relax.

You answer your phone as you go through the grocery, stocking up on food for the week.  “Hello?”
“Hey, it’s Tara.”
“What’s up?”  You say.  You stop your cart to give full attention to the call.
“Abel keeps asking me for salad the way (Y/N) makes it.  I’m not entirely sure what that means.”  Tara laughs over the phone.
“Oh.”  You smile.  “I just mashed up an avocado, added garlic powder, salt, pepper, jalapenos, and lime juice for the dressing and mixed it around a bunch of chopped up romaine.  Um, make sure it’s fully coating all of the leaves or else he may not like it anymore.”
“That’s all you fed him for dinner?”  Tara asks.
“No, we had fries.  Um, homemade fries.  I’m actually vegan so I didn’t really have anything in the house that was like chicken tenders or something but he seemed to like it.”  You chew at your nail, waiting for her to respond.
“Chibs eats vegan?”  Tara snorts.
“Only cause he’s too lazy to make his own food when he gets home.”  You laugh with her.
“Yeah, that I can believe.”  Tara says.

Mix the spices and olive oil together and rub onto the chicken breast. Allow to marinate in the refrigerator overnight or a couple of hours will work too.

3 iceberg lettuce leaves, chopped roughly.
Handful of spinach leaves chopped.
1 cucumber diced.
¼ capsicum diced.
8 cherry tomatoes quartered.
¼ red onion finely chopped.
1T fresh chopped coriander.
2/3C of cooked brown rice.
125g can of corn kernels.
½ avocado sliced.

For the dressing.

¼ C lime juice.
1tsp of extra virgin olive oil
Half a green chilli deseeded and finely chopped.
Pinch of salt.

Place salad ingredients into a large bowl.

Cook the chicken in a non stick frying pan over a medium heat.
A few minutes each side until cooked through. Allow to rest.

Mix the dressing ingredients together in a glass jug.

Slice and place the chicken on top of the salad. Drizzle with dressing.

I served our salads with a slice of Lebanese flat bread that I cut into wedges, sprayed lightly with olive oil and sprinkled with all purpose seasoning before placing onto an oven tray and cooked at 180 degrees Celsius in a preheated oven for about 5 minutes until crisp.

Here’s a neat idea: packing your salad in a jar for a quick meal.

It’s easy enough, but keep these tips in mind:

  • Most important rule: dressing at the bottom, greens at the top. Keep them as far away from one another as possible. If you do that, your greens will stay crispy and fresh, no problem.
  • Use the resting time to your advantage. Place items that’ll soak up and marinade in the dressing as the next layer for the best salad flavor. Cooked grains, tofu, meats, mushrooms—anything that is spongy and will suck up that yumminess as the jar sits in the fridge.
  • To make the salads a little more hearty and filling, try adding a protein like chicken, quinoa, beans or cubed tofu.
  • We’ve had these salads last as long as 10 days in the fridge without getting soggy, yucky or anything but delicious.
  • I try to keep the ratio of each jar about half-and-half—half toppings, dressing, grains, proteins and half greens.
  • For a few more tips, see the source:
