I really like how the Stranger Things universe and the Mob Psycho 100 universe could *technically* be the same one? I mean, think about it. Stranger Things has an esper girl from the 80’s whose psychic powers were awakened by experimental means in a shady-ass lab by a secret organization. A precedent for Claw, anyone? Now imagine Mob somehow meeting a 40-50 yr old Eleven, having an actual adult figure with psychic powers who isn’t hostile, possibly with full control over them…

So while playing my Japanese nuzlocke I wanted to point something out Guzma addresses kukui with respect, calling him either San or professor. Granted it’s distant like you would a stranger, but still for his character I found it interesting.

Meanwhile kukui addresses guzma like an acquaintance or like you’d address a child calling him guzma-kun.

Japanese is so nuanced like this you can get a feel for their relationship in an instant.

“But the forest is queer. Everything in it is very much more alive, more aware of what is going on, so to speak, than things are in the Shire. And the trees do not like strangers. They watch you. They are usually content merely to watch you, as long as daylight lasts, and don’t do much. Occasionally the unfriendly ones may drop a branch, or stick a root out, or grasp at you with a long trailer.  But at night things can be most alarming, or so I’m told… They do say the trees do actually move, and can surround strangers and hem them in.”

I see you like Patrick Rothfuss and his books. Well, let me tell you about a little show called Critical Role. Dungeons&Dragons livestream every Thursday. There are three badass women who play badass woman characters. Also four men. Four of these people are couples, and super adorable. There's LGBT+ representation. I think all but one of the characters are openly not-straight. They're all voice actors that you've heard in videos games and anime like Attack On Titan, Soul Eater, Teen Titans,(P.1)

(p.2) The Last of Us, Overwatch and more. The players are so dedicated to being honest and making real decisions, and the storytelling is unreal. Sometimes they have guests, and Patrick Rothfuss was one on SEVERAL of the recent episodes and a few of the earlier. So yeah. Critical Role.

I will be honest friend, I understood exactly 1 of those references and it was Teen Titans… I know nothing about anything else you said so I apologize for being uncultured lol. HOWEVER, this sounds cool on a surface level! And hey, my man Rothfuss is just the coolest so I automatically like this concept.

That last anon is probably a really nice person and all, but ending with "Thoughts?" is so fucking annoying.

Goddamn, yeah, another pro-tip: don’t treat strangers like you’re their boss, fuck.
