like a russian

anonymous asked:

Pet names in another language? Oh, mon petit lapin, I could go on for days. What do you like, Золотце? Is Russian good? Or do you prefer smoother languages, like Italian, mio tesoro? I have a plethora in all languages. How about Turkish, bir tanem –? That language has oh so many wonderful nicknames. (I'm sorry. You said you like pet names in foreign languages and there was no way I could resist geeking out)

headcanon: so Russian skating team can’t learn to call Yuri Yurio and calling him Yura without permission will probably kill you so at first Yuri and Yuuri are never sure which one of them someone means and it leads to those awkward situations when he tries to explain he meant Japanese Yuri or Russian Yuri until eventually Yakov just yells one day “Yuri, not Victor’s Yuri!” and that’s it, they all call him “Victor’s Yuuri” now. Yuuri wouldn’t even notice but when Victor realises it he starts to tell everyone that they should call him “Yuuri’s Victor” too and is complaining they don’t to the point when Yuuri just goes “well because it’s obvious you’re mine” and Victor happily agrees because he’s so weak for confident Yuuri can you blame him

tl;dr: it’s “Victor’s Yuuri” in Russia ok

Queen Yuri Plisetsky aka Yurio aka Yura 😘👑
//may your hair keep growing longer and longer because Beka and I like that a lot 🙏💙//

@collectivecoloursofawarriorsmind IT HAS BEEN DONE ✨. Also I just realized that Yuuri doesn’t wear his glasses in the hot springs haha OOPS.

I feel like if Yuuri let his hair grow out it would make Victor miss his long hair too 💇

edit: I made Yuuri’s face a little more masculine 😬
