life's unfair

anonymous asked:

It's just not fair it's not. There's been over 500 HQ's of Selena and Abel and she's the one who's travelled to be with him and the paps have followed them everywhere but Taylor couldn't do that with Tom??? Why??? No one is saying anything to Abel and Selena like Taylor and Tom got in tired of the Taylorism. Why isn't the media saying what they said about HS to Abel and Selena when they're doing way more than they did with all the candids and travels

Life is incredibly unfair. i have no other answer.

Selena and Abel are cute though and i hope the paps relax on them soon, those airport arrival pics looked brutal.

curly for the character development) 13--18

13. How do they greet the world — what is their typical attitude towards life? How does it differ in different circumstances, or towards different subjects? Why do they take these attitudes, and why do they change? How do these tend to be expressed?

i think overall curly does his own thing. he knows life is unfair and he doesn’t expect much, but he also knows that its up to him to make life worthwhile. tim raised him to be very adaptable, so he can be totally relaxed one moment and ready to fight the next. he’s not as cautious around strangers as tim is, but he will be a little wary of them. he’s a completely different person around his friends than he is around people he doesn’t trust. around the gang or other friends- curly’s loud and wild and funny. he doesn’t take anything serious and all he wants to do is have fun. but with people who are on his bad side (which, honestly, is a long list) he’s cold and intimidating, he doesn’t talk much and he’s always tense and ready for a fight.

14. What do they care deeply about? What kind of loyalties, commitments, moral codes, life philosophies, passions, callings, or spirituality and faith do they have? How do these tend to be expressed?

he’s extremely loyal to tim and the gang. he’d drop his life in a heartbeat if it meant making his brother proud. he never had a father figure, so he started idolizing tim at a young age. in his teens, i can see him choosing the gang over any other commitment in his life (girls, friendships, etc) because all he wants to be is his brother’s second-in-command. tim’s kind of shaped him into a younger version of him, and by the time curly realizes that he isnt tim it could be too late. if he does make it to his twenties, then i can see him breaking away from that part of his life and starting to settle down. i’ve never seen him as being a religious person, but i think he does believe in God, he just doesnt turn to him in times of need

15. What kind of inner life do they have — rich and imaginative? Calculating and practical? Full of doubts and fears? Does it find any sort of outlet in their lives?

while curly isn’t book smart, he is full of street smarts. he knows hoods better than anyone and he can always sense a fight before it breaks out. he’s a quick thinker and a hothead, and that’s what helps him in fights. one of his major problems is his lack to plan things out (that’s the main difference between him and tim: where curly acts now and thinks later, tim likes to think in advance)

if curly is scared of anything its embarrassing the shepard name. his lack of ability to plan makes him a subpar gang member, and more often than a disappointment to tim. everyone always tells him he’ll never be like his brother and over time he starts to doubt himself, but i can see him proving himself through fights.

16. Do they dream? What are those dreams like?

i can’t really see him dreaming. he knows people like him don’t make it that far in life and he’s kind of just accepted it

17. Are they more shaped by nature or nurture — who they are, or what has happened to them? How have these shaped who they’ve become as a person?

his #1 problem was being raised by tim. when their father died, and their mom started dating alcoholics and abusive men, tim raised curly on his own. he took his younger brother everywhere with him, and as a result curly was raised around fights and beer and bad influences. i think, overall, tim really meant to help his brother by making him as tough as him, but he could never accept that fact that curly was different. curly wasn’t made for being in a gang; but after idolizing tim for so long he could never realize that, and that’s probably what his downfall would be a result of.

curly is tough, though. he’s a good fighter and he’s got a smart mouth. but i think if their father had stayed alive then he would have been a better person. curly has the potential to care about other people, unlike tim. throughout his life he had built these walls that kept everyone out, but i think that a few people could get through to him. he’s still got a tiny bit of that person he could’ve been, and around the people he cares for most he’s the greatest person in the world.

18. What kind of person could they become in the future? What are some developmental paths that they could take, (best, worst, most likely?) what would cause them to come to pass, and what consequences might they have? What paths would you especially like to see, and why?

OK i see curly’s fate going two ways.

the first, if he never leaves the gang: i see him dying around nineteen, paying for something that tim did. it’s mostly likely a result of a long gang war that had started, and they knew getting curly would affect tim in a way nothing else could.

the second, if he does leave the gang: i can also see curly finally realizing that theres no place in the shepard gang for him, that he’s meant for other things. but he knows it would never go down well with tim and so they would fight it out, and it’d be the first fight curly ever won against tim.

tim would be pissed, though, and i can see him kicking curly out of the house, and that’d be the last time they ever talked.

i happened upon this picture of Melissa bts and it’s just…too much??? like. the tshirt?? cradling the tiny precious dog?! and look at her fucking arm. i mean i really have a soft spot for athletes lol but are you joking?? get this away from me.

It was unfair that people could pretend to be one thing when they were really something else. That they would get you on their side and then do nothing but fail, and fail, and fail again. People should come with warnings, like cigarette packs: involvement would kill you over time.

Lea [Michele]’s Rachel was going to have become a big Broadway star, the role she was born to play. Finn was going to have become a teacher, settled down happily in Ohio, at peace with his choice and no longer feeling like a Lima loser. The very last line of dialogue was to be this: Rachel comes back to Ohio, fulfilled and yet not, and walks into Finn’s glee club. “What are you doing here?” he would ask. “I’m home,” she would reply. Fade out. The end.

A little motivation for the signs
  • ARIES: You can do anything! Your past doesn’t define you.
  • TAURUS: Keep going, stay as you are, never change, you’re absolutely perfect!
  • GEMINI: Don’t listen to them, you’re adorable. You don’t have to hide your feelings, it’s okay to show them sometimes.
  • CANCER: Fall seven times, get up eight. Life seems so unfair towards you, but your good heart will get rewarded one day!
  • LEO: Be yourself, don’t let them show you the way, always choose yourself!
  • VIRGO: Allow yourself not to be perfect sometimes, you’re just a human, we all make mistakes.
  • LIBRA: Stop blaming yourself for losing people. If they decided to go, they don’t deserve your loving heart.
  • SCORPIO: You don’t have to be strong all the time, it’s okay to show your weaknesses, not everyone will hit where it hurts.
  • SAGITTARIUS: It’s okay not to decide every detail of your life in advance. Enjoy it and sooner or later, you will be right where you want to be.
  • CAPRICORN: Failure doesn’t mean you can’t try again. Giving up doesn’t mean you lost. Sometimes you have to start over letting your past go.
  • AQUARIUS: It’s great to be different, don’t you ever let them tell you the opposite!
  • PISCES: Stand up for your opinion, because it does matter. Don’t be afraid to show your deepest dreams.
It is unfair of me to ask for more than you can give me but it’s unfair of you to expect me to settle for less than I deserve.

Company CEOs shouldn't be at home with their families during the holidays if their employees have to work on the holidays.
But why. Why is life so unfair. Why do I have to be the one crying late at night? Why do I always get used? Is it because I am too kind? Or is it because I’m simply just stupid?
