“Upon visiting a secluded summer home,
four high school girls are soon targeted by a horrific creature in the
basement with a knowing housekeeper trying to keep the unspeakable heap
secret and at bay using a flute.”
So. My cats caught a teeny-tiny bird yesterday. It couldn’t fly because the cat(s) bit it on its feet, so we put him in a old small cage. And all went okie-dokie.
But today. This early-evening. There’s only me home, and that feathery-fluffy thing needs to be fed. *insert loud sighing* So I go in the kitchen, where we put the small cage, feed him (that diluible bird food? It smells terrible), go back to my room.
It chirps. I go to check, maybe he’s still hungry. Nope. I go back. IT CHIRPS AGAIN. I check, I look at it. It just puffs, bends its tiny head and sleeps. I’m like “Ok well, good night?” and I go back.
One. Minute. Later. It chirps. I go back to the kitchen. It looks at me. It goes back to sleep. I return to my room. IT CHIRPS. I go to the kitchen, and I SEE IT, I SEE IT CHECKING ON ME AND THEN FAKING TO SLEEP.
Kiefer Sutherland Joins Ellen Page In Flatliners Remake
Supernatural thriller ‘Flatliners’ is getting done over again, with its original star in tow.
Deadline report that Kiefer Sutherland, who played the lead in the 1990 movie which reunited him with 'The Lost Boys’ director Joel Schumacher, has signed on to appear alongside Ellen Page in the remake - though unsurprisingly he will not be reprising the same role.
The film centres on a quintet of ambitious medical students experimenting with near death experiences, in a bid to discover the truth about life after death.
However, while 'dead’ the young adults experience visions of things they have done wrong in their lives, compelling them to make amends.
The original film cast Sutherland, Julia Roberts, Kevin Bacon, Oliver Platt and William Baldwin as the students.
This time around, the experimenters will be Page, Diego Luna, Nina Dobrev, James Norton and Kiersey Clemens - whilst the now 49-year old Sutherland will portray “a seasoned doctor.”
Niels Arden Oplev, director of the original 'Girl with the Dragon Tattoo,’ will be calling the shots on the remake, working from a script by 'Source Code’ scribe Ben Ripley.
The new 'Flatliners’ will reportedly go into production this week in Toronto, Canada, and is expected to hit screens at some point in 2017.
