“Shall We Dance” - Digital Oil Painting

I love the way this one turned out, all the little details like the hair and the lace and the fabric folds! I also love that you can interpret this as different BP and DT characters. She could be Lily, but she could also be Rose, all pink and yellow, after convincing the Doctor to actually stay for the party in their honor and their hosts provided them with appropriate clothing. She just caught him looking at her cleavage during their dance and he’s fumbling for an excuse or apology, he’s not sure which, while continuing to look-notlook. Hehe! Feel free to use as inspiration for fic, if you want!

I was tagged by @megabadbunny and @ofstormsandwolves!  Thanks, guys!

Pick a drawing of yours- that is at least a year old- and redraw it. Post pictures of the original and updated drawing.

I didn’t get very far with this yet, but hopefully I’ll finish it.  I have to get some other stuff done first though.  Anyway, years ago I drew a modern real world interpretation of Link, but I was never totally happy with it.  I still really like the concept though, so I chose that for my redraw.  It’s a WIP for now!

“Carry On My Wayward Son” - Digital Oil Painting

He has such a gorgeous profile, just look at those eyelashes. I combined this painting with some Photoshop effects for the glowy-shiny mirror.

“In A Galaxy Far Away” - Digital Oil Painting

To help celebrate Star Wars Day, a painting of troubled space parents, Han and Leia. I’m very happy with how all the textures turned out and of course I had to add in a glittery nebula in the background, it’s what Space Mom would have wanted - more sparkles! May the Fourth Be With You.

“Rebel Captain” - Digital Oil Painting

I just had to capture this sweet moment in a painting. I really wanted to do my best to capture the lighting with the ‘halo’ effect in Felicity’s hair.

“Precious Moments” - Digital Oil Painting

This is my latest completed commission for @whitesheepcbd, based on a moment from her story “Precious Moments.” She asked for Rumple and Belle snuggled up with baby Gideon and I love how it turned out. It was a challenge to get the messier hair to look right, plus getting the ‘nighttime’ colors right without it getting too dark, so I put in some moonlight coming through blinds to highlight some areas. I hope you like it!

“Eyelashes” - Digital Oil Painting

Extreme closeup of Sebastian Stan to showcase those completely unfair eyelashes. I wanted him to look soft and kissable, but it wasn’t difficult, because he very much IS. The funky lighting was just a bonus, LOL.

“Misha and the Chocolate Pom” - Digital Oil Painting

“I’ve started calling him Dean.”
“Won’t that get confusing? Why ‘Dean’?”
“…because he likes it when I rub his tummy as he falls asleep.”
“…because what now?”

“Sam and the Tabby” - Digital Oil Painting

“I know it’s a little strange, for the guy who flies around like a bird to own a cat, but I found him setting off a perimeter alarm while on patrol. He was all thin and sick and, well… I got attached. And hell, I’m down for irony. So, yeah, the Falcon has a cat.”

Sam is a soft touch for poor, neglected creatures turning up on his doorstep. He lets the cat chase Redwing around for fun and exercise.

“Mark and the Malamute” - Digital Oil Painting

“This is why I got him; because he laughs. I thought he was laughing at all my jokes… turns out it’s my fashion sense. I stand by that green sweater!”

Mark is very loyal to his clothes. I was going to go with a modern Mark Hamill and go for a Grandpa-Chic feel… but it just wasn’t going with the rest of the series. So we have a Classic Mark instead. ^_^

“Stupid Freckles” - Digital Oil Painting

This picture wanted my soul. (See what I did there? Hehe) OMG, freckles and scruff and eyelashes… this was so difficult! But I wanted to do Jensen justice and in the end, I am super happy with how this turned out. He is just stupid pretty, ugh.

This is NOT a Photoshop filter, every stroke is painted by me.

“Bubblegum Billie” - Digital Oil Painting

When I saw her wearing this pink fur, I had to give her some pink hair to match! It was challenging to get all the textures painted right, but I am so happy with how it turned out. ^_^

“Jensen and the Husky” - Digital Oil Painting

“I named him Castiel!”
“Because of all the kisses he gives you?”
“…What? No! Because he’s got the blue eyes, man, come on! …bitch.”

“Queen of Sass” - Digital Oil Painting

There isn’t actually a flower that means ‘sassy,’ but the orchid comes close. An orchid lays everything out there, it says ‘this is me, this is all of my sassy self, love me.’ So I chose a deep burgundy orchid to represent our queen of sass. ^_^

“The Hope” - Digital Oil Painting

Gah, Jensen is so gorgeous. I love how he portrays Dean, he’s a rude hardass tool sometimes, but then he pulls these beautiful moments out of the air, where you can see hope and even some innocence. Despite everything the Winchesters have faced, they keep going because they still have hope.

“Frozen Tears” - Digital Oil Painting

I just had to capture Billie’s poster from Yerma in a digital painting, she looks ethereal! Her hair floating in the air and tears frozen in the moment. I hope you like it.

“Just-Been-Shagged Hair” - Digital Oil Painting

A painting of probably my favorite image of David in Don Juan in Soho. That is some quality just-been-shagged hair right there. I used some really tiny brushes to get the texture just right.

“Smoulder” - Digital Oil Painting

You know I’m a sucker for funky lighting, but just LOOK at this gorgeous man. I love the lines of his nose and mouth, and of course he has amazing eyes. This painting also has the distinction of featuring the lesser seen eyebrow lift from the Ninth Doctor!

“Bucky and a Ducky” - Digital Oil Painting

“He’s so soft! And tiny!”

Come on, I had to. Look at that face.
