lgbt themed

Y'all know that Benjamin Alire Sáenz is a 62 year old man who came out when he was 54 after coming to terms with his childhood sexual abuse and exploring his sexuality through writing LGBT themes in his novels? I’m so proud of him and happy that he’s gotten to this point in his life no matter how long it took. I love him so much, he’s my inspiration.

It’s so dumb for people to complain about the brown and black stripes on the pride flag because “being a poc isn’t a sexual orientation/gender identity!!!” bc like in what world do the stripes represent different sexual orientations or gender identities…they celebrate valued complements of the lgbt community like love and harmony and sex and to include stripes that represent diversity or the inclusion/acceptance/welcoming of poc actually really fits that theme

seasonal boy aesthetics

spring boy: wakes up early just to see the sunrise. scuffed-up tennis shoes, long sleeves in the morning and short sleeves in the afternoon. searching for interesting things in nature, pressing flowers in books, searching for four-leaf clovers in grass that’s just starting to turn green again. always sending you new songs to listen to and making you playlists.

summer boy: restless and ready for adventure. paint on his knuckles. always going barefoot just because he can. wants to climb things and stay up late. midnight drives, lying in grass fields and talking about future plans that you know will never actually happen. dancing in parking lots. loud music. always has a song stuck in his head.

autumn boy: buried in a sweater. will change direction just to walk through a pile of leaves and is mesmerized by fall colors. warm hands. always offers to make you tea. listens to acoustic albums and watches the rain fall for hours. watches lots of artsy films and fills journals tirelessly. always jotting down ideas and quotes he likes.

winter boy: sleepy and quiet. will smell every single candle in a store if you walk by the candle section. smells vaguely of chamomile and peppermint. gets excited whenever it snows and insists on running outside and trying to catch snowflakes on his tongue. refuses to drive if the roads are icy. always dressing in layers and yawning.

Marco is a Trans Girl - The Megapost 2.0

So you’ve likely seen my big post on the theory that Marco Diaz from Star vs The Forces of Evil is a Trans Girl. It was made back in July of 2016 when Season 2 was just starting, and since then a lot of things have changed and we now know a lot more about what’s going on behind the scenes.

This post is meant to be an updated explanation of Trans Girl Marco theory, but now more in line with how things are actually happening. The gist of it being that Marco Diaz is coded as a closeted transgender girl.  Expect less theorizing and more meta talk. I’ll be going over all the clues that indicate Marco is trans, as well as how the starcrew came to the desicion as Marco developed as a character.

I can’t give enough thanks to the members of the crew such as @arythusa and @hug-bees, whom have both done as much as they possibly can to communicate with the show’s growing LGBT fanbase, and given us so much insight into what’s going on

SO NO ONE TOLD YOU LIFE WAS GONNA BE THIS GAY

So no one told you life was gonna be this gay
Your job’s a joke you’re broke, your love life’s DOA.
And the straights got you stuck in second gear
But this day, this life, is so queer and

I’ll be there for you
(When the slurs start to pour)

I’ll be there for you
(Like they always have before)

I’ll be there for you
(Because we’re all gay too)

You knew you were different at ten or maybe even eight
You came out, got kicked out, things are going great
The internet warned you there’d be trials like these
But it didn’t tell you when the world brings you down to your knees that

I’ll be there for you
(When the slurs start to pour)

I’ll be there for you
(Like they always have before)

I’ll be there for you
(Because we’re all gay too)

No one could ever know us
No one could ever see us
Seems we’re the only ones who know what it’s like to be us
A community to face the day with, make it through all the rest with
A community we’ll always pun with
Even at our worst we’re at our best together, yeah!

It’s like the straights got you stuck in second gear
But this day, this life, is so queer and

I’ll be there for you
(When the slurs start to pour)

I’ll be there for you
(Like they always have before)

I’ll be there for you
(Because we’re all gay too)

I’ll be there for you
(When the slurs start to pour)

I’ll be there for you
(Like they always have before)

I’ll be there for you
(Because we’re all gay too)
