Fifth Day of 2016

I am doing a 30-day challenge to Lose Fat & Gain Muscle (#LFGM) and I am documenting this on my blog. I talk about my Diet, Workout, and other things in between. 

So it all went well for today. It all just Abs & Cardio so I didn’t have the bowl of Oats. And just had an apple instead. I am still experimenting with this so see how it affects. I know more energy is required for lifting weights as well as Cardio. 

And maybe I’ll start having Oats or any other source of high carbs even on Non-Training days, my current goal is to get in Calorie deficit to cut the Fat. 

I followed the diet properly without any cheating, 

I am had Grilled Chickens in my Lunch, I added a bowl of Rice to it as well, so that I get some Carbs for Evening Cycling. 

Cycled in the evening for 1 hour covering 13Kms and burned 350 Calories

I am struggling to find for Cycling, days are very short and I am not getting enough work done. I feel guilty about it. 

I may have to choose to Cycle on alternate days or use the Cycle whenever I have to go for shopping or some work. Like yesterday, I cycled to the market to get the kitchen stock for myself. 

Had chicken in Dinner as well and ended the day with a cup of skimmed Milk. 

The feeling I have right now is amazing, I feel tired enough to get a proper sleep and fit enough to work without feeling lazy. It’s just 5 days and there are more than 3 weeks left. 

I am writing this to keep myself motivated to do this. Let’s see. 

Tomorrow is Chest & Biceps, I’ll be taking progress photos of me after that. 

Fourth day of 2016

I am doing a 30-day challenge to Lose Fat & Gain Muscle (#LFGM) and I am documenting this on my blog. I talk about my Diet, Workout, and other things in between.

It’s Winters, days are short and aren’t eventful. Just routine work, writing a few posts, doing a bit of housework and following my diet.

Thankfully I followed it well today. Went outside to meet a friend and had tea, which are very sweet so I might have consumed two teaspoons of extra than usual, but it’s okay. Life gets boring when there no ups and downs, even in sugar levels. Okay, bad joke. 😁

It’s just four days and I can feel the change, I’m feeling active, less sleepy during the day and able to sit down for long, but I’m making sure I get up every hours or so.

I’m having Creatine along with my protein shake post workout, and that requires me to drink more water, at least, 3 lifters throughout the day, it’s so hard to do it. It’s Winters and I’m going to the loo every 20 Minutes or so.

Tomorrow is Cardio and Abs, then weight training on the sixth day. I’ll be taking photos after the workout so stay tuned.

Eighth day of 2016

Today was a bit rough, I didn’t get proper sleep and had to pult a lot of people effort to get up and take myself to the gym.

I came back, had protein and had my usual Egg White, 5 of them after an hour . And then lunch was Chicken, fried again.

Sadly no chicken in the dinner and no protein in the evening as well. What a tragedy. And I had a lot of munching in between the meals, I’m surely not good at keeping promises to myself.

Tomorrow is Saturday and it’s really going to be tough to be strict on Diet, but I’ll try. Let’s see how this plays out.

Seventh Day of 2016

Bad day, really bad day. 

I slept at 3 AM last night and woke up late, its was Cardio and Abs, So  I didn;t bother to go at my usual 9 AM time. 

I went to the GYM at 11 AM. Came back and had 5 Egg Whites. (18-20gms Protein)

When it was time for lunch

The Grill of my Oven stopped working. 

Had to fry the chicken in one tsp oil. Felt bad about it but having Chicken is better than not having at all. 

I felt tired the whole day because I didn’t sleep properly. Chose not to go for Cycling. Also, my trainer told me it was enough Cardio in the Gym session and I really don’t need to push that harder. 

And in the evening, we went out. I had to have the pastry (half of it) because my Son refused to have it all. Something else got his attention and I had to finish that black choco chips pastry from famous Burma bakery in Hazratgunj. 

Part of the reason was my already effed up day. 

I had chicken again in the dinner, fried in 1 tsp oil. And added some rice to it as well. One bowl. maybe 200gms of it. 

And then milk before bed. 

So, it was the worst day of 2016 in regards to my #30daychellenge

Hopefully tomorrow, the day eight will be good. Tomorrow is Shoulders & Triceps. 

Really looking forward to not eff it up again. 

Third Day of 2016

I am doing a 30-day challenge to Lose Fat & Gain Muscle (#LFGM) and I am documenting this on my blog. I talk about my Diet, Workout, and other things in between.

So the third day comes to an end. 

I have already started getting bored of this daily diary type of writing.

But just want to document my first 30 days of the year 2016. I’ve set a challenge for myself to ’Lose Fat & Gain Muscle‘ 

That’s it, we have a name for it now Lose Fat & Gain Muscle (#LFGM)

In this next 30 days (27 days technically) I’ll be on a strict high protein low carb diet. I’ll share my diet in later posts but for now, I just want to say that I’m feeling super awesome. 

The diet is brutal but I am loving it. I am having limited calories in a day and most of it are coming from Protein. Three days it very less to evaluate this but I just want to keep myself motivated. 

It was Sunday, so no training. but it still managed to cycle for an hour, 

And burned some 350 calories, if @runkeeper is correct. :-)

Anyway, I was able to take my daily protein intake as well. Spent rest of the time with the Family, Sunday is for Family.

Let’s see how the day 4 goes.
