Once you’re sure the boys are asleep you quickly make your way
out of Medical, heading to the ZETA tubes. Before you can get there, however,
you run into a large wall of blue and red.
“Superman, can I help you with something?”
“Where are you going?” Clark crosses his arms over his chest, “I
won’t let you confront Luthor. He’s dangerous, he could hurt you”
You roll your eyes, mirroring his stance, “You don’t have to
‘let’ me do anything, Kent. Now I suggest you step aside before you see just
how pissed I really am at you”
“You’re mad at me?!”
“You’re damn right I’m mad at you!! Those two boys are children
and all you’ve done is treat them like they are a burden to you! It’s not their
fault that they were made! It’s also not their fault that you’re too wrapped up
in yourself and Lois, who didn’t even care about you until she found out that
you were Superman, to even give them a chance!! Now, GET OUT OF MY WAY!!!!!”
Shoving Clark hard, you continue into the ZETA tube and punch in
the coordinates for Metropolis. You and Lex need to have a talk.
Mercy leads you directly into Lex’s office, going to stand
behind her boss once you’re seated.
“What can I help you with, Mrs. Wayne?”
“I’m not here on business, Lex. I’m here on a personal matter”
Lex leans back, steepling his fingers, “Very well, Y/N. What are
you here for?”
“I’m here to talk about Cadmus and the research that you were
“I can’t say that I know what you’re talking about”
You raise an eyebrow, “So you don’t know about the two
Kryptonian clones that were taken from Cadmus by the Justice League, one of
which happens to have been made from half of your DNA, virtually making him your son? You also don’t know about
the full blooded Kryptonian that was also taken? The one who was given a serum
to help him control himself, and was able to identify you as one of the people
who he saw regularly outside of his pod?”
“I still don’t …”
“Please, Lex. I’m not here on some JLA mission, I’m here because
I have two boys who are terrified that you’re going to come in and bring them
back to Cadmus. I don’t want to completely cut you from their life, there are
things that were done to them that I know you wouldn’t have approved of. I know
that your ‘evil’ now, that you aren’t supposed to care about anyone, but Clark’s
already tossed them aside and I don’t want them to lose two fathers in one day”
Lex takes a deep breath, “Mercy, please cancel my meetings for
the next week. Y/N” he turns back to you, “I’d like to meet them, if you wouldn’t mind.
I’d like to be a part of their lives.”
“I told them that I wouldn’t let you take them back to Cadmus.
I’ll fight for them, Lex, I intend to offer them a place at the Manor, a
“I know you’ll be good to them, Y/N. I would like to … make-up
for any mistakes that I made in the past. I’d also like to take a look at their
files, I was running an investigation on the Cadmus branch that the clones were
found at, and discovered some … unsavory practices being implemented on many of
You stand up, giving your old friend a parting hug, “I’ll see
what I can do, your meeting might have to wait until after the boys leave the
“Very well, you’ll contact me when we can meet?”
As soon as you step back onto the Watchtower you know something
is wrong. Huge chunks of metal are being thrown around, several people are
yelling. And in the middle of everything is Match, standing over an injured
Conner, eyes glowing red and staring down Superman.
You rush forward, attempting to get between the two Kryptonians,
only to be caught around the middle by your husband, “B!! Let me go!!”
“You can’t get between them, Y/N!”
“Let me go, damnit!! I can help!”
Conner makes a soft sound, leaning around Match’s legs, “Y/N?
You … you came back?”
“Of course I came back! I had some things to take care of back
on Earth, and I came back as soon as I could.” You wriggle around, finally
slipping out of your husbands hold, “Match, put that down please” Slowly Match
obeys, and between one blink and the next you find yourself standing beside Conner
and behind Match, “Whoa”
“Calm down, honey. I’m gonna check on Conner, make sure he’s
alright. Match, sweetheart, can you tell me what happened?”
“You left us! We woke up to strangers around our bed, and you
weren’t here! You were gone! Conner got hurt! They wouldn’t tell us where you
were, or what had happened!!”
“Look at me, Match. Look at me, that’s it, look at me” Match
locks eyes with you, slowing his breathing to match yours, and lowering the
steel beam he had been holding, “I’m here now, I’m sorry I left without telling
you, I went to see Mr. Luthor. I didn’t think you’d wake up until I got back,
Conner makes a soft sound, still holding his broken arm, “We –
we asked for you, but no one would tell us where you were. I just – you said
that you’d be there, but you weren’t, we panicked, ‘m sorry”
Running your fingers through his hair, you gently check over his
arm, “I’m sorry, Conner. Match, help me get your brother back to Medical, I can
fix his arm there”
Match snarls at Superman one more time before turning and
picking Conner up, “I can walk! It’s just my arm!”
“Hush, brother, you’re hurt and I won’t let one of them hurt you anymore. I promised to
protect you, and I intend to do that”
“You boys go ahead, I’ll meet you there. I have a few things I
want to discuss with Superman and Batman”
Once you’re sure that the boys are out of ear shot you round on
the two heroes.
“How could you hurt them?!? They’re children, and they were
afraid! You hurt them!!” Jabbing a finger at your husband, “You especially
should know! We have FOUR BOYS AT HOME!!!! YOU SHOULD KNOW HOW TO HANDLE
THEM!!!!” You rake tense fingers through your hair, “I’m so god damn mad at
you, Bruce. Right now though, I’m going to go and help those two boys, who are
probably traumatized right now, the one place they think is safe and they are
attacked, just because they’re scared!”
Before Clark or Bruce could say anything, you turn, storming off
to Medical. Fucking men being fucking idiots, hurting fucking kids!!!
You quickly treat Conner’s arm, wrapping it in ace bandages to
keep it straight while his advanced healing takes care of the rest. Match
refuses to leave his brother side and watches your every move.
“You said that you left to talk to Lex Luthor?”
“Yeah, he’d – he’d like to meet you two, said that he never
really got the chance to interact with any of the clones that were made, and
that he was running an investigation on that Cadmus lab”
“He wants to meet us? Does he intend to take us from you?”
“No, Match. He doesn’t want to take you two from me, he wants to
meet you, to be a part of your lives, but he agreed that it would be your
choice to make. The two of you will choose when you meet Lex, and I’ll be there
when it happens.”
Match nods, quietly curling up beside a sleeping Conner. “Promise
you won’t leave this time?”
Two days later you decide to take the boys out of the Watchtower
and down to the Manor.
“Y/N, it isn’t safe. Just the other day they were destroying the
Watchtower in a temper tantrum, and now you want to take them to Earth!”
You take a deep breath, attempting to remain calm by sheer force
of will, “Clark, if you tell me one more time how to raise my children …”
“But they aren’t your children, Y/N! They are clones! Of me!
They don’t know how to control their powers, how to keep their temper!”
“Really? Because I’ve spent almost three days with them and they’ve
been nothing but calm and helpful. Two days ago they were terrified. The only
person they knew was safe, which is
me by the way, wasn’t there, and you all wouldn’t tell them where I was. And
no, I don’t know how to help them with their powers, you’re the only one that
can do that, but do I see you in there helping them? NO!!”
“I – I …”
“You what? You’re gonna try and tell me how to take care of two troubled teens that have no idea what a
safe place is? That have only known pain and loneliness? Clark, you might be
the only one who can help them control their powers, but it looks like I’m the
only one willing to help them in every other way. So, I suggest you get out of
my way. My new sons need to meet their brothers, and no one, not even you,
Kent, can keep me from any of my children.”
How do you think the boys will react to their new brothers?
requested by anon and @the-temple-pythoness <3 prompt:
Heyho, could you do the “Success is more important…” prompt with Lex Luthor? You didn’t write anything with him in ages and I miss him ! 👀 /
hey! could you do something with Lex Luthor? thanks sweetheart <3
if you like my stuff and want to support me, don’t forget to treat me to a KO-FI!
more important…!” He emphasizes, sounding almost desperate as he tries to break
the shield of silence that surrounds you. You are unsure if he’s trying to
convince himself or you. Lex runs a hand through his hair, releases a heavy
sigh and looks away from you only for a moment. All it takes is that simple moment
for him to swallow down complex and heavy emotions and mask them with anger.
His fists clench. His office remains eerily still. “You…(Name)… You don’t
understand, you’re human, you’re weak, and that’s fine—“
“No.” You cut
him off quietly, licking the bottom of your dry lip, “I think I understand
everything perfectly.” You finish dully, standing up from the comfortable seat.
There’s a note of panic in his eyes as he takes a hasty, but controlled, step
Where are you going?”
You give him
a stiff smile, “Somewhere where I wouldn’t get in the way of your success.” And
you leave with that. With a low curse under his breath he watches as you move
down the corridor through the glass walls of his office.
A part of him
leaves with you. The human part. The part of him that has a weird fascination
with you, the part of him that revolves around you and the strange things you
make him feel. Another agonizingly heavy sigh escapes his lips and in a fit of
anger his hand moves to grasp the nearest object, which so happens to be a
ceramic statue, and smashes it at the wall.
“Promise me you’ll stay away from him, (Y/N),” Finch begged, “men like him are no good and will only hurt you.”
You sighed at your mother pathetic attempts at trying to keep you away from Lex, “sure. I promise I wont go near him again.”
Finch smiled and kissed your forehead - she turned around and began walking to a court room she was supposed to be at. The moment her back was turned you got a notification and pulled out your phone; it was Lex.
I’m free today, maybe we could catch some lunch?
You smiled at the thought of the golden haired boy. With no second thought you immediately text back.
So I don’t know if I used the right term but here they are!
Umayri - My Prince (That’s what Google Translate told me!!)
Amira - Princess
When you wake up the next day you feel more refreshed than
you have in a long time. Damian is curled around you, fast asleep, and you
wonder why you woke up. When the door clicks shut you have your answer. Quickly
wriggling out of Damian’s hold you quickly head out to the living room.
“Uncle Lex?” You whisper
“In here, Y/N” He takes a sip of his coffee, “So you two
“Yeah, we did. I love him, Uncle Lex. I love him so much
that it hurts. I don’t know how I would ever survive without him”
Lex sighs, “He and I are going to have a talk on how to
treat you, darling. I expect him to ask permission to take you out on a date,
and be aware that when you do go out, I will be watching you, and if he hurts
you, I will hurt him”
There’s a hoarse chuckle from the door, “I thought that we
were over that, dad. I don’t really like to get shot, so I would appreciate it
if you kept the injuries to a minimum.”
As Kon walks by he drops a kiss onto the top on your head,
and you gently squeeze his arm. It’s practically a morning ritual, a show of
affection and love between the two cousins. “Sit down, Kon. I’ll get your
coffee, you shouldn’t even be up, you know.”
Conner flops into a chair and Lex fusses, making sure he didn’t
pull any stitches. While Lex is a supervillain, and the cause of a lot of
problems, he is also one of the most caring people you know. “Try not to strain
yourself, son. I don’t want to have to take you back into surgery”
“Come on, dad! You know I can’t miss out on your famous
coffee! It’s like the best stuff in the whole country!”
Lex chuckles, “I know, son. I would have brought you a cup”
Kon wrinkles his nose, “No way! You drink yours black! And you
never add enough sugar to mine!”
Uncle Lex rolls his eyes, “You’re lucky you aren’t human, or
you would have diabetes by now!”
Conner grins, raising his cup in a mock toast, “To my non-human
An hour later Damian and Clark stumble into the kitchen and
get coffee. You walk over and press a kiss to Damian’s cheek, “Morning, Umayri”
“Good morning, Amira”
Uncle Clark groans, “Now they have cute nicknames for each
“Leave them alone, Kal. You’re the one who argued with Bruce
just to get them back together. I don’t think I’ve even seen Batman nervous
After breakfast, Damian approaches Lex when Y/N, Kon and Kal
went out for a fly. “Mr. Luthor, I would like to have a word with you”
“Of course, Mr. Wayne. What can I do for you?”
Damian clears his throat, “I would like your permission to
ask Y/N on a date”
Lex leans forward, “And why are you asking me instead of
“I already have the approval of both Clark and Connor Kent.
The only one I do not have it from is you, Mr. Luthor”
“I would like you to call me Lex, Damian”
Damian nods, “Of course … Lex.”
“I will give you permission to date my niece, on one
“I want you to treat her like she is a princess. I want you
to worship her, to love her in every way she deserves. I want you to make her
happy. Do you think you can do that, Damian?”
Damian grinned, “I would have her no other way, Lex. All I
want is for Y/N to be happy”
“One more thing, Damian … I want to walk Y/N down the aisle
at your wedding”
Damian chuckled, “That is not my decision to make, however I
will put in a good word for you”
Lex chuckles, “Yes, do that. We both know that Y/N will not
be told what to do, so the decision is hers to make”
When you get back to Uncle Lex’s penthouse you can hear
Damian laughing. “No! That can’t be THE Superman!”
Lex’s laugh joined Damian, “Oh yes it is! And he didn’t even
know how to tie the tie, I had to do it for him!”
“I still can’t believe you hit him with your car!”
Uncle Clarks’ eyes widened in horror, “Oh no” he takes off,
sprinting down the stairs, “Alexander Luthor! You put that book away right now!”
You and Conner glance at each other before you take off
after Clark, “Don’t you do it Uncle Lex! I want to see the pictures too!”
“NO!!!” Clark shouts, “How did you even get those
“Martha gave them to me of course.”
“Aw, no, Ma!”
Lex chuckles again, “You were such a cute kid, Clark, I don’t
know how you turned into what you are now”
You roll your eyes at you uncles antics. Those two fight
like they really are siblings instead of enemies.
“Y/N? Will you come with me for a moment?”
You glance up from your book, “Sure, Dami” You float behind
him, holding onto Damian’s shoulders, letting him pull you along like he always
does, “What’s up?”
“I had a conversation with Lex today, Beloved.”
You cock your head, “You did?”
“Yes, and he gave me his permission to do this”
Damian pulls out a ring, and goes down on one knee, “Dami …?”
“I know we are young, and that we aren’t ready to get
married yet, but I love you. I love you more than I ever thought I could love a
single person, and I want you to be mine. Will you promise to marry me one day,
when we are ready? Will you promise that you will always be mine?”
Tears streak down your face and you nod your head
frantically, “Yes, yes, Dami! Of course I will! I love you so much! Yes!”
Damian slides the black opal ring onto your finger, and
stands up. You fling your arms around his neck, pressing a kiss to his lips. “I
love you, Beloved”
“And I love you, Dami. I’ll love you forever”
He leans his forehead against yours, just breathing you in,
relishing this moment. He runs his thumb over the ring now on your finger. They
two of you stand there for who knows how long before you decide to go inside.
“You get to tell Jason”
Damian groans, tugging you into one more kiss, “Of course,
“He’ll probably try to beat you up”
Damian kisses your nose and you run your fingers gently through
his hair, “I would deserve it for hurting you, my love”
“Don’t worry, I won’t let him hurt you. I won’t let anyone
hurt you anymore”
“I will fight for you every day, Beloved. I will show you my
love for you every day to make up for any pain that I have caused you”
“And I will forgive you every day, and every time you hurt
me again. I love you”
“I love you too, Amira”
That’s what I was picturing when I wrote about the Promise Ring!!
is one hunky bunky lump of candy all right, you think as you eye him carefully
across the hall. He’s talking to someone, some business man that tends to persuade
him into a discount on stock prices or something along those lines - you really
don’t care. You wait for him patiently with stacks of paperwork grasped between
your fingers, tapping your foot on the marble floor and hearing titbits of
their quiet conversation and the pleasant click of your heel. Your smile dims,
however, when you see Lex’s face twist into a scowl before it flips into a
friendly smile. He shakes the man’s hand, nods and turns on his heel to face
you with an unreadable expression. His walk is stiff and quick and his mood
turns sour by the time he reaches you though he doesn’t stop to chat, merely
pushing past you and walking straight through the automatic doors into his
office. You follow suit, wordless, perhaps worried, but more curious than
glass doors fall shut and for a moment it’s dead silent, until—
“THAT FUCKING LUNATIC.” In a fit of rage
with one swift motion Lex wipes all the things off his table and you flinch by
the doorway. He runs his fingers through his hair. Quickly setting the papers
down you rush to him, about to hug him when his fingers wrap around your wrists
and squeeze tightly and you halt. It all falls quiet again. “Don’t…Don’t…” His grasp loosens as he
exhales a hard breath. You let a small smile slip on your face.
Puddin’…” You murmur, “No need to get so upset over a silly little thing like
that…” You cup his cheeks leaning in, “Murder is always an option, my love.”
You say against his lips, “And don’t you forget it.” You finish with a kiss.
You fling yourself in front of Damian, wrapping him tightly
in your arms, but you only feel the bullet graze your side. It still hurts like
a bitch, it feels like fire streaking through you, but it isn’t what you
“Connor!” Lex shouts
You whip around, your eyes widening in horror when you see
your cousin. Kon let out a wheeze, his knees buckling under him. Lex catches
him before he hits the ground.
“Nonono! Conner! Just hold on, son. Mercy!!” Lex whips around, “Get the OR ready! Y/N!” He
turns back to you, “Get ready for a blood transfusion”
You nod numbly, unable to really comprehend what happened.
Connor had jumped in front of a Kryptonite bullet in order to save you. Quickly
letting go of Damian you scoop Kon up and take off after Mercy.
Once he’s in the OR, you give three pints of blood, more
that you’ve ever given before.
You whip around, the rooms spinning around you, but
thankfully someone grabs onto you, leading you to a chair before you hit the
“I’m here, Beloved. Did you get your side treated?”
You shake your head, “Didn’t have time, everyone went to
help Conner, I didn’t want …”
Damian sighed, gently pulling your uniform up, reveling the
graze on your side, “You don’t need to lose any more blood than you already
gave up. Where does Luthor keep the medical supplies?”
“Down the hall, third door on the left. And can you let
Uncle Clark out of the fourth room on the right? He’s under a red-sun lamp, so
he might be a bit woozy”
Conner is in surgery for almost two hours, a lot faster than
it would have been for most humans, but still a long time. Uncle Lex sets
Conner up in a hospital suite, your blood hanging in a bag by his bedside. Even
though Conner has mixed DNA, your Kryptonian blood won’t hurt him.
“Y/N, you need to rest.” Uncle Clark gently puts a hand on
your shoulder, but you can’t seem to tear your eyes away from Conner. He looks
so pale against the sheets. Damian is talking to Bruce, he isn’t happy with you
or with Conner right now, and you know that you need to talk to him, but you
don’t want to leave. What if something happens when you leave?
“I’m fine, Uncle Clark, I just want him to wake up”
Clark sighs, his fingers tightening slightly, “Go talk to
Damian. He isn’t doing so good right now. Lex and I will keep an eye on Conner.
We have a few things to talk about anyway”
“Alright. Please don’t fight. It messes with the healing
aura in the room” You give your uncle a small smile, and get up, “Don’t listen,
“Promise I won’t”
The walk to the hallway seems to drag on forever, on the way
there you realize that Uncle Lex had given Damian cloths to change into,
because he isn’t in his Robin costume anymore.
“… no. Father, I am waiting here until … I said no … Tell
Grayson … Yes, alright … Goodbye, Father” Damian yanks the phone away from his
ear and jabbing the end-call button. “Y/N? Did you need something?”
“I – I wanted to make sure you were alright” You whisper.
“Am I alright? You and Kon-El were shot with a Kryptonite
bullet protecting me. Your cousin might still die, and what am I to do? What if
he dies? Will you blame me for his death? I hate being uncertain, and you only
ever make me uncertain!!” Damian shouts.
You flinch away from him, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry for being a
bitch, I’m sorry for no knowing how to handle anything, I’m sorry for hurting
you, I’m just sorry that I’m not what you want”
Damian lunges forward, pulling you into a crushing hug, “I’m
so sorry I made you feel like you are inadequate. You will always be more than
enough. I love you. I love you so much that it is terrifying. I could not
imagine a world where you are not by my side. Will you forgive me?”
Tears streak down your face, and your arms tighten around
his shoulders, “I’ll always forgive you! I love you so much that it hurts! I
was so angry and so hurt, and I missed you so much”
“I missed you as well, Beloved”
“Promise me we won’t so that ever again, that we’ll stay and
talk everything out” you whisper
“I promise that I will never let you leave and we shall
never go to bed angry. I will promise you that”
“Can we go to sleep?” You pull away and blush, “I always
sleep better when you’re there”
Damian’s eyes soften, and his mouth twitches up in a smile, “Of
course, Beloved. I will wake you if there are any changes in Conner’s condition”
“Thank you, Dami”
Once Y/N is in bed, finally asleep, Damian pulls out his
phone and opens a new text. It’s to Jason.
“What the hell Lex?” You whispered when he broke into the room with a few of his men. “How comes Joker rescued Harley within like a day of her being in here and I have to wait a week?”
“I didn’t want to be caught up with that psycho,” he muttered before breaking into your cell and kissing you in front of all his men. You laughed into the kiss and thanked him. “C’mon (Y/N), we got better things to be doing.”
A/n: Timothée Chalamet would be a good college age Lex Luthor. You cannot change my mind.
“Yeah I’ll be there in a few minutes. Okay, bye.” A voice said resulting in you waking up. You groaned when you realized the slight hangover.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to wake you.” You opened your eyes to see the girl from last night standing over your bed. Memories of the previous night came flooding back when you looked at her.
“It’s okay. I needed to get up anyway.” The time on the clock read eight-thirty a.m. and you needed to be in Wayne Hall at ten for a history lecture. You swung your legs over the side of the bed and stood in front of the girl.
“About last night-“ You started but the girl with green eyes and dark hair cut you off.
“Don’t worry about it. How about we agree it was a one time thing?” Your chest clenched a little hearing she only wanted it to be a one time thing. In your three years at National City University, you had never had as much fun as you did with her.
“Yeah sure…I guess I’ll see you around campus?”
“Of course. I actually have to go meet my friend for a quick tour before class.”
“If you need anything you know where I live.” You nervously laughed while she smiled.
“Thanks, y/n. See you around.” The girl left your dorm room and you felt a little sad.
“It was just one crazy night, don’t let it get to you.” You whispered as you prepared to get ready for a day.
After a quick shower and a change of clothes you were almost ready for the day, you just needed breakfast. The thought of grabbing something quick from the university cafeteria but decided you wanted something actually edable. You were on your way to Noonan’s when you decided to call and invite your best friend to tag along.
“Hey Luthor, wanna grab breakfast?”
“No. I want to sleep.” Came Lex’s tired voice.
“Come onnnn. I’m going to Noonan’s.”
“I hate that you know my one weakness. I’ll meet you there in ten minutes.”
“I look forward to it.”
When you arrived at Noonan’s you placed your and Lex’s usual orders. While you waited your mind drifted back to the girl from the previous night. You hated yourself for not remember her name, if she even told you it at all.
“Hey y/n.” Lex greeted as he sat down across from you. You noticed he looked unusually rough. His usually combed hair was a mess and he was wearing a plain sweater and jeans, Lex Luthor did not just wear a sweater and jeans.
“Hey Lex. Rough night?”
“Very. I had to help my sister move into her dorm and afterwords my father forced me to talk about taking over Luthor Corp.” You felt bad for your best friend, you knew how much he hated the idea of taking over the family business. But you noticed he mentioned his sister, someone he didn’t talk about a lot.
“Can I ask why you don’t talk about her much? I mean you know every detail about my family and I barely know anything about yours.” Lex rolled his shoulders and took a sip of the coffee you ordered for him.
“You know my family is messed up. She’s not really my sister-well she is my sister but we don’t have the same mother. She was the result of an affair.”
“Don’t apologize. I love Lena, she’s a good sister. She used to play chess with me when I was younger. She’s the only one who could beat me.” Lex smiled which made you smile.
“Well I can’t wait to meet her.”
“She’s coming over tonight to hang out if you’d like to join us.”
“Of course I would.”
You were enterupted by the waitress bringing your food. You ate in silence until Lex spoke up.
“So how was your night?”
“It was fun. I um…I actually met this really cool girl.” Lex raised his eyebrows in a questioning way that you recognized.
“We didn’t sleep together, we shared a bed but nothing more than legitimate sleep. We met at a bar and went down to the pier where the carnival is. I’ve never had so much fun, Lex.”
“And did you get this girl’s number?”
“No. I don’t even know her name. But she does go to NCU.”
“If you want I can hack into the university’s data base and try to find this girl.”
“I appreciate the offer but I think I’ll just go the traditional route and talk to her myself.”
“You’re no fun, y/n.”
The two of you stayed at Noonan’s until it was time for class. You walked back to campus together but separated once you made it to Wayne Hall.
The rest of the day went by fast, thankfully. After your last class you went back to your dorm and worked on homework until Lex texted you.
Luthor: My sister is coming over soon if you want to come over
Y/n/n: Awesome! I’ll be right over
You didn’t lie, you practically sprinted to Lex’s dorm to get away from your homework. Lex greeted you at the door and then escorted you to his dorm room. You were a little shocked that Lex chose to live on campus rather than in a lavish apartment in the city.
“Welcome back to Casa De Lex. If you’ll notice, I received a new tv from mother and father.” He gestured to the large tv mounted to the wall.
“I wish my parents gave me a new tv.” You said only slightly joking.
“I’ll ask for another one for Christmas and give it to you.” Lex said while checking his phone.
“Lena’s here. I’ll run downstairs and grab her. Feel free to try the new tv.” Lex tossed you the remote before leaving the room. You sat on Lex’s couch and flipped through the channels. A few minutes later, Lex poked his head inside the room.
“May I introduce the one, the only, Lena Luthor.” Your best friend dramatically swung the door open before dramatically gesturing to this sister. Your blood ran cold and your heart stopped when you looked at her. She was the girl from the night before. You blinked a few times looking like a deer in headlights.
“You must be y/n, it’s so nice to meet you. Lex has told me so much.” Lena shook your hand, the look in her eyes told you to play along.
“It’s nice to meet you too, Lena.” You said swallowing the lump in your throat. You let go of her hand and the room fell silent.
“I’m glad you two finally met.” Lex chimed in.
“Me too.” You practically whispered, still looking Lena in the eyes.
The next two hours felt like the longest of your life. Lena sat in between you and Lex, your legs pressed against another.
“Hey Lex, why don’t you go pick us up a pizza?” Lena suddenly said looking towards her brother.
“Why can’t we just get one delivered?”
“Because it takes way longer for a delivery and you have a car.”
“She’s got a point.” You added trying to keep your composure.
“Fine. I’ll go pick it up but we’re not getting one of your weird healthy pizzas.”
“I’m okay with that…this time.”
Lex rolled his eyes before grabbing his car keys and saying goodbye. As soon as the door closed Lena turned towards you with a slightly uncomfortable look.
“So…you’re my brothers best friend that he talks about every time we talk.”
“And you’re my best friends little sister…”
“Does he know about last night?”
“I told him I met a girl and we hung out but I didn’t remember her name.”
“I didn’t tell you my name because I didn’t want to be known as Lena “get drunk and makeout with the first person you see” Luthor.”
“That’s not how I described you to Lex at all.” You nervously laughed while Lena rolled her eyes with a smile.
“God, Lex would go crazy if he found out about this.”
“I don’t want my best friend to go crazy but…”
“I really had fun with you, Lena. I don’t want it to be just a one time thing.” Lenas expression softened when she looked you in the eyes.
“I didn’t really want it to be a one time thing either. I just want to get settled into my new routine before I try and have a relationship.”
“I understand.” Silence fell over the two of you while you tried to make sense of the situation.
“Let’s say at some point we do try to make this work, do you really think it’ll be worth losing your friendship with Lex?”
“I-I don’t know. Lex has always been there for me since I got here.” Lena placed a reassuring hand on your shoulder and gave a sympathetic smile.
“What if we do this privately? We’ll try dating without letting anyone know. That way if we don’t work out then no one knows but us.”
“And if we do work out?”
“Then we’ll tell everyone at our surprise wedding.”
“Oh my god.” You groaned at Lena’s faux dramaticness.
“Just a little.” Lena smirked before leaning in and pressing a kiss against your cheek.
“Our first date is going to be eating pizza with my brother.” Lena joked.
“Don’t remind me.” You laughed. The brunette maneuvered closer to you so she could rest her head on your shoulder. You wrapped an arm around her shoulder, it felt nice having Lena back in your arms again. Of course, when Lex returned you two practically jumped apart. The rest of the night was spent eating pizza and trying to avoid your best friend finding out you really liked his little sister.
Sorry this took so long! So there isn’t much Damian x reader fluff in this one, it’s mainly the aftermath of their fight.
You leave Gotham before anyone can talk to you, and you fly
straight to Conner’s apartment. Most of the time you stay with your
Grandparents, but right now you just need to be with your cousin.
“Hey, Kon. Am I interrupting something?”
Conner yaws, scratching his stomach, “Nah, I just woke up.
Want some breakfast?”
Nodding, you land on his windowsill, and climb into the
apartment, “Can we have pancakes?”
“Sure, Y/N” He glances back at you, “Is everything alright?
I thought you were going to be in Gotham all weekend.”
You groan, flopping on Kon’s couch and burying your face in
a pillow. He sits down next to you, gently removing the pillow from your face,
“Are you going to tell me what’s wrong?”
“Do I have to?”
“Considering I just got a text from Jason asking where you
You nod and tell him what happened he previous night. By the
time you finish Kon’s eyes are red, and he looks like he’s ready to fly to
“Kon, it’s okay, you need to calm down.”
He rolls his eyes, “I am calm, kid. Now, I’m going to make
us pancakes, and call Clark. I’d rather he finds out from me, than from Batman”
“Does he have to know? I don’t want to think about him
“Don’t worry, kid. You don’t have to worry about the Bats
anymore.” Conner ran his fingers through your hair gently, before he stood up.
You really loved how understanding Kon could be.
It’s been about a week, and you have managed to avoid almost
everyone. Kon told you about the huge fight between Superman and Batman up in
the Watchtower, and how Robin hadn’t stopped asking about you. Your goal had
been to stay away from everyone until just the thought of Damian didn’t hurt
anymore, but of course the world never seemed to work in your favor.
“Supergirl, come in, Supergirl”
“Supergirl here, what’s the situation?”
“You are needed at the Watchtower for debrief. We have a
mission for you and Superboy.”
“Of course, Batman. We’ll be there soon”
You whip around, only to find Kon already dressed and
holding out your costume. Kon had changed his original outfit into just jeans
and a shirt, so you had decided to steal it. Your costume looked like a female
version of Connor’s old costume.
“You know, it’s a lot easier to just change into jeans. You
should totally make the switch, kid”
“And look like you? No thanks. Plus, I make the leather
jacket look better than you ever did” Your hair quickly goes up into a
ponytail, and then you slip on the knee-high black boot. “Ready?”
Kon is floating upside down, looking bored, “I’ve been
ready, but you still had to get dressed”
“I don’t like getting dressed at superspeed, I might put my
shirt on backwards, like you did”
Connor whips around, and quickly flips his shirt so it’s on
the right way, “Not funny”
“Oh it was hilarious, now let’s go”
You arrive at the Watchtower about 2 minutes later, you and
Kon had raced.
“Superboy, Supergirl. Thank you for joining us”
“What mission did you have for us?”
“Lex Luthor has captured Superman, using Kryptonite, and has
refused to give a location unless we bring the two of you to him.”
You glance over at Kon, “You do know that Lex Luthor is the
other half of my DNA, and he’s the one who found Supergirl”
Batman sighed, “I am aware of these facts, and considering
how he was ranting about having hi child kept from him, I assume that he is
doing this, because he is angry and Superman for keeping the to of you from
“I talked on the phone with Uncle Lex two days ago. He asked
me to come visit him, but I told him that Uncle Clark wouldn’t let me, not
after his last attempt at world domination”
Flash lets out a groan, “This is seriously a family dispute?
Why can’t supervillains just talk things out!! There was no need to pull out
the Kryptonite! I mean that stuff could just hurt you two”
“Yeah, but I’m betting Dad will leave all of the Kryptonite
with Mercy once we get there. Plus he probably has Clark under a red sun lamp
at this point. The last time he really hurt Clark with Kryptonite it made Y/N
cry, he promised he wouldn’t do it again”
“Do you think you can convince Lex to let Superman out?”
You shrug your shoulders, “Hopefully. We can try”
“You’ll need backup. Robin will go with you” Batman gestured
for the younger man to stand up.
Kon stepped forward, getting between you and Damian, “We
don’t need backup, we have each other” he growled.
“Yes, and you both can be taken out by Kryptonite, something
that Robin has no weakness to”
“Superboy, it’s fine. Let’s just go see Uncle Lex, and then
we can go back to your apartment”
“Supergirl, I would like to speak to you before you leave”
Batman called out. He turned and walked out of the room, leaving you to follow,
“What is it, B?”
“Why haven’t you been to the Manor?”
You sigh, “You know why. I know that Damian told you”
“Yes, but I want to hear it from you.” Bruce crossed his
arms, waiting for you to answer
“He was with three other girls, B. I had thought … well, it
doesn’t really matter what I thought, but it hurt to see Damian like that” You
lock eyes with Bruce, “To see him use some stupid playboy persona, like you do.
I loved him, but I won’t sit around while he becomes you, Bruce. That’s not
something I have to heart to watch” You sniffle, straightening your back, “I
have to go. Robin is staying here. Superboy and I will handle this”
With that you’re gone, zooming through the Watchtower and
straight out the airlock Kon will meet you at LexCorp, you know that he was
Mercy is the one to meet you and Kon on the roof. She
quickly brings you down the stairs and into Lex’s office.
“It’s about time you two arrived. Clark has been waiting for
You roll your eyes, “Come on Uncle Lex, let him go, and then
we can go out to dinner or something”
“Yeah Dad, don’t be an asshole. I know Clark can be
annoying, but Kryptonite hurts”
Lex rolls his eyes, but he stand up from behind his desk,
“Very well, since you both asked so nicely. Let’s go let Clark free. I’m sure
that if we leave him on the roof his little friends will be able to pick him
Your head shoots up when you hear a noise from the roof, at
the same time several alarms start going off and Mercy takes off running. You
recognize the heartbeat, it’s Damian.
You and Kon sprint after her, making it to the rooftop only
seconds before her. “Robin!” You shout, “What are you doing here?”
“I’m here to protect you!! You just take off, flying strait
to your uncles arch-nemesis’ home, where he has hundreds of pounds of
Kryptonite! Which is one of the few things that can hurt you!” Damian is
practically scream now, “What did you expect me to do?!? Let you put yourself
in danger like that?! You might hate me, but I would never let you get hurt!”
“I don’t hate you” You mumble, shifting until you are
slightly behind Kon.
“If you didn’t hate me, they you wouldn’t be avoiding me. If
I never see you, how am I supposed to apologize.”
“Well, isn’t this interesting” Lex drawled, walking until he
can put a hand on your shoulder, “I do believe that Superman told me all about
your little argument with Supergirl, Robin, and I don’t really appreciate you
landing on my rooftop and harassing my niece” with a flick of his fingers Mercy
raises her gun. “Now I suggest you leave before I order Mercy to pull the
Your eyes widen, you might be angry at Damian, but you don’t
want him to die, “Uncle Lex, please don’t …”
“Hush child, there’s no need for you to worry. I’ve heard
that the Bats are a relatively smart group of individuals.”
“I said hush, Conner. I’m having a conversation with Robin
right now. It’s very rude to interrupt conversations.”
Lex turns back to Damian, who still hasn’t moved, “What will
it be? Should Mercy shoot you, or are you going to leave? She has Kryptonite
laced bullets you know, so if either Superboy or Supergirl decided to try and
save you, they would only end up hurt. The liquid Kryptonite would seep into
their blood, killing them without a transfusion”
Damian is starting to look nervous. He doesn’t want to leave
you, but he also doesn’t want to get shot, or risk you getting shot. “Just let
him go, Uncle Lex. Come one, lets everyone go back inside.”
“I don’t think so, Y/N. He hurt you, so he deserves to hurt.
It’s only fair. Mercy … shoot him”
The sound of the gunshot is deafening, your scream even more
so. You shoot forward, in a desperate attempt to beat the bullet. For one, you’re
afraid that you might not be fast enough to save the one person who you know
that you can’t live without. Racing a Kryptonite infused bullet is almost
painful, you can feel yourself get weaker the closer you get to it, but you
keep pushing. Damian won’t die, not on your watch. You push yourself to go
faster, will you make it? Or will you be forced to watch your best friend die?
supercorp but krypton never exploded - for the prompt thing
I got far too carried away with a plot that makes absolutely zero sense. Seriously none.
She’s sent away at thirty. A spy for a planet running out of resources heading for one still teaming and untapped to it’s true potential, but on the brink of environmental destruction. She’s been trained under her aunts careful watch, had politics hammered home, learned espionage and fighting and the science behind the whys and hows. She goes not knowing if she’ll come back, and she leaves her planet behind with an ache in her stomach she feels too old for, and a sense of deja vu trailing she doesn’t understand.
She lands a god.
They knew it would happen, prepared for it–she’s trained in flight and physics and things she’s never second guessed. But when gravel crunches under her boots and she takes off into the sky leaving a trembling ground behind her, the air doesn’t feel like it’s holding her back, but rather buoying her up, and there’s a freedom pounding in her chest beyond the expectation of winning a planet’s trust, of getting their technology, of finding a way to get their resources.
But she has a mission. A technology developed within a corporation, something developed by a man with an obsessional mine and Kara needs in. She could storm it, use these powers and rip her way through. It’s addictive, this strength, but it could expose her, expose aliens to a race that has no knowledge of them. It could stop her getting smaller pieces she needs, a way of saving her planet. So she tries for stealth, with a soldiers mind. But he’s impossible to get near him.
Who’s not difficult? His sister.
A woman on the outskirts of their name’s fame, who almost lives within the labs and seems hard, withdrawn, has no friends, lives within her brother’s shadow. Kara follows her to and from Luthor Corp and one day lets them stumble into each other outside a cafe. Kara plasters a smile on her face, her hands on the woman’s elbows and when their eyes catch everything stills, and all Kara can hear is the other woman’s heartbeat and feels like she’s drowning in green. It shouldn’t be like this. She was put though so many simulations to focus with the extra sensitive vision and hearing. She’s coped fine, so far. She’s seen this woman, focused on her features while flying high above the city. But nothing is like being here, now, inches away from her face and caught in her gaze. The woman looks annoyed, for a moment, then her gaze softens before any expression is locked away.
Kara remembers herself.
“Sorry.” She lets her smile turn sheepish. “I didn’t see you.”
But she did see Lena, and now she can’t tear her eyes away.
It takes weeks, but Kara befriends her. She forgets, when they’re opposite each other in a bustling cafe that she’s doing it gain her trust and then betray her. She forgets Krypton, her mother, her father, her training. The smile on Kara’s face is real and as Lena Luthor’s walls start to crumble between them, Kara yearns to crawl a little closer. One day, Lena leans against her slightly while they walk near a park. Another, she laughs, the sound rich and warm and almost a little rusty, like she’s not used to doing it. She bites her lip when Kara says hello, and Kara’s stomach heats and something throbs low down. In the lab Kara visits her in carrying dinner in a pizza box because Lena always forget to eat, Lena steps right into her space and kisses her. It’s quick, chaste, and she pulls back with her eyes wide and like she surprised even herself. And Kara forgets she’s there for intel, to snoop as much as she can, to take extra steps to get what she needs and instead drops the pizza box on a bench and takes Lena’s lab coat in her fists and pulls her closer.
Kara’s never had time for this, before. On Krypton she’s been training since she was fifteen. Every moment in her life she was being moulded into something taught to be single-minded: to get this one thing. To get their final hope on Krypton.
But now she wonders why she wasn’t doing this all the time. Or, really, why she didn’t start doing this with Lena sooner.
Her mouth is soft, warm, her tongue slides over Kara’s like she knows exactly what she’s doing and Lena pushes back until the small of Kara’s back hits a bench. They laugh softly between kisses, hands slipping under shirts, palms grazing skin and maybe, just maybe, Kara can have this, can have Lena and her planet.
It’s too easy after that. She lets it drag for another week. Pushes the mission to the back of her mind, and instead lazes in bed with Lena, sheets wrapped around their legs, kicked to the floor, skin slick with sweat and discovers a side to herself, to Lena, that she’d never imagined but adores with that part of herself that isn’t all about the mission. Then after a week, sick with the guilt, sick at the softness in Lena’s eye, Kara swipes Lena’s pass in the lab and let’s herself through, beeps through room after room after room. She can still feel Lena from that morning, the sun hazy on their skin and Lena’s arm heavy over Kara’s middle. The press of her lips to Kara’s neck as she woke up, sleepy and warm and breasts naked against her own as she slid her leg between Kara’s.
But Kara has no choice. Her planet is nearing a point it won’t be able to come back from, closer than this planet, and Lex Luthor, and his obsessed brain, seems to have developed something that can save them. Krypton looked for ways beyond deceit, looked for a way to make a plea, a deal–this planet showed little ability to treaty with anything foreign. And despite some of the good she’s seen, despite something as good as Lena, Kara hasn’t seen anything that makes her think otherwise. The other option, war, was dismissed immediately. And so had begun Kara’s training.
All for this.
The final room holds just a computer, filled with blueprints. With an understanding of something even Krypton is lacking. The saving grace to Kara’s planet is from an alien, and all the brain power on her planet hasn’t gotten as close as Lex Luthor. Not when Kryptonians clearly showed they never understood it all to let it get this far.
The file loads easily and Kara turns, ready to leave, to find wide green eyes blinking at her. She was so focussed she missed Lena following her. Missed the footsteps she knows, the heartbeat she could pick out of a crowd.
She can’t miss the utter, heartbreaking betrayal on Lena’s face. The way her eyes shutter, the way she crosses her arms, like stealing herself for a blow. And Kara stands, swallows, the information burning a hole in her pocket and she has to go.
The time is up. Her planet is a ticking time bomb and this could help them save it. Could save millions and millions of lives.
But Lena is staring at her.
“Don’t.” Lena juts her chin, just a little. “I should have known you were getting close to me just for something.” Kara would almost think she imagines the slight tremble to her bottom lip. “No one ever wants a Luthor.”
“I did.” Kara’s voice breaks on the last word, and she stalks forward, relieved when Lena doesn’t pull away. She doesn’t step closer either though, so Kara pauses in front of her, aching to pull her in. “I do.”
“You wanted this.” She juts her chin at the computer, her eyes hard. “You don’t have to lie to me.”
“I–” Because what can Kara say? She does want this. Need this. She never meant for the rest of this to happen.
“Who are you?” Lena cocks her head. “What are you?”
And Kara stills, because how can Lena know.
“Say it, Kara. If that’s your real name.” Lena’s cheeks are slashed with red and her eyes are red and Kara wants to cry. She doesn’t feel like a soldier right now, like a spy, like the most trained Kryptonian in history. She feels like a child, a girl who’s betrayed someone she never wanted to but set out to do so in every action she took. “Say you got close to me because I was your way in.”
She won’t lie anymore. She can’t. And Kara feels like something is breaking in her chest. “I got close to you because you were my way in.” The words whisper out, but Lena closes her eyes like they’re a slap, harsh truth. Like she wishes she hadn’t asked for them. “I did Lena.” Her voice is so hoarse. “But I never meant to fall–”
Lena steps forward, crashes their lips together. Kara cups her cheeks an Lena steps in even closer, their bodies flush, her teeth nipping at Kara’s lips. It starts furious, angry, biting, but quells, slows to soft touches, brushes of their lips. Lena pulls away with a shuddering breath, and Kara wants to pull her back, but has no right, none at all. She lets her hands fall away, finger tips grazing the softness of her cheeks, her neck, until they rest against Lena’s furiously beating heart. Lena rests their foreheads together for just a second.
“Don’t you dare say that, after all of this,” Lena whispers.
Kara nods. She nods, then steps back, and can’t look at her again. Can’t see the heartbreak in Lena’s eyes. Instead, she walks past Lena and leaves her behind.
And this time, as she leaves a planet behind her, she lets the sobs break her apart.
Warnings: General fluff honestly there’s so much lmao and pregnancy with like a little bit of overprotectiveness.
Request: Hi can you a cute(bvs) lex luthor x pregnant reader where she is 6 months in the pregnancy and he’s overprotective of her thnxs if ya can 😘🙊 by @lovely-wagner
A/N: Hey! I’d like ya’ll to know that considering I’ve wrote half of my requests, I’m opening up requests again!! Please look at my rules page before submitting a request!! thank you x
P.S, I tried to make this as Lex as possible but he is very OOC anyway due to this request!! nevertheless, i enjoyed it and thank you!! (Also I know like nothing about pregnancy lmao I’ve never been pregnant so ahh I tried. This fanfic is soo bad lmao pls don’t hurt me.)
You walked down the lonely backstreet of Metropolis. Your hand to your stomach and the other on your bag. It’s not that you didn’t trust Metropolis, it’s just that you didn’t trust Metropolis. You had only gone out for milk and bread and you knew that this would’ve worried Lex because ever since you got pregnant he kissed the ground you walked on. He became very overprotective, not in the way he’d stop you from doing stuff but in a way that couldn’t get you in harm or the baby that was growing inside you.
I don’t think Lex realised how much of a weakness you and the baby were to him but it’s what consumed his every day thought. How were you and the baby doing? Was it going to be a boy or a girl? What shall we name them? Has she got not enough to eat without going out tonight or ordering food whilst I’m at work? Lex knew that he loved the feeling of becoming a father to the son or daughter you were going to birth and he couldn’t wait. However, right now, he was pulling up behind you in his car.
