lex gillette

Lex Gilette is the paralympic world record holder in the long jump and an inspiration. At 8 years old, his sight began to diminish, resulting in permanent blindness. With extreme determination and amazing muscle memory, he excels in horizontal jumping and sprinting events. Gilette won the silver medal in long jump at the 2004 Athens and 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games. He strives for gold this year in London. His motto is, “No need for sight when you have a vision.”
