Guardian Chaos by Levy Rasputin

One of the mystery characters only named at the very end of the Sailor Moon manga. Guardian Chaos was hinted to have been a sort of opposite to Guardian Cosmos. In that she was the guardian of the Cosmos Crystal, Guardian Chaos was the guardian of Chaos’ core Chaos Seed. Both were ambiguously mentioned by Guardian Cosmos as having melted into the Galaxy Cauldron along with Chaos, and at some point they will be reborn.

Because it never actually appeared on panel, I imagined Guardian Chaos as very Lovecraftian in nature. Whereas Guardian Cosmos is a fairy, Guardian Chaos is a parasite. I imagined it as a writhing, shadowy mass of tentacles that sucks all light and darkness into it. The only discernible form a person can see is the outline of someone, maybe a man and maybe a woman, with the same glaring white eyes and white mark as Chaos had.

Levy added in the beautiful red, purple, and green background and made Guardian Chaos invoke the image of a scorpion.

Oliver Queen and/or Mia Dearden for the meme =)

  • Why I like them: “You five-fathom fascist!” Ollie’s got his privileged straight white guy moments, but he’s generally hilarious and does really try, even when he fucks it up.
  • Why I don’t: He is not a fucking clone of Bruce. He is not a childless Steve Jobs. Stop it. Stop it, all of you.
  • Favorite episode (scene if movie): “You five-fathom fascist!”
  • Favorite season/movie: Uh… I guess this corresponds to… story arc for comics? Shoot, I didn’t think that through. I rather liked Mayor Oliver.
  • Favorite line: Gee, I wondre what it could possibly be.

    … you five-fathom fascist.
  • Favorite outfit: The preboot Green Arrow, with the magnificent beard.
  • OTP: Ollie/having a family. More seriously, I have no objections to Ollie/Dinah, but I don’t ship it either. That’s about it.
  • Favorite Friendship: Hal.
  • Head Canon: When Lian’s very young and just learning archery and doesn’t know any better, sometimes, he’ll challenge her to a contest and then let her win.
  • Unpopular opinion: I don’t like Arrow.
  • A wish: Please stop being terrible in the New 52 and get your family back.
  • An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: *looks at the entirety of things happening in Arrowfam canon since Cry for Justice* Too late?
  • 5 words to best describe them: Stubborn, liberal, cantankerous, bullheaded, headstrong
  • My nickname for them: Ollie

  • Why I like them: She’s tough, snarky and lacks all impulse control, but she’s really, genuinely determined and wants to help people under all that.
  • Why I don’t: Eesh, are there reasons to not like Mia? Sometimes she’s kind of used to do “no homo” stuff with Connor, but that’s not something I’d hold against the character.
  • Favorite episode (scene if movie): Mia deciding she wasn’t going to be just another statistic was amazing.
  • Favorite season/movie: I really liked her ascending to Speedy.
  • Favorite line:  Oliver Queen… I’m doing this whether you want me to or not… I’m telling you… this is the life I’m choosing. I want to fight by your side. Please… let me do it at your side.
  • Favorite outfit: The Hufflepuff one.
  • OTP: Man, you know, I’m not actually sure I ship Mia with anyone.
  • Favorite Friendship: Connor
  • Head Canon: Thanks to Glitter for this one - now that she’s living with Ollie, Mia likes to go around the red light district handing out free clinic information and condoms, and just generally checking on the girls there.
  • Unpopular opinion: I don’t ship her with Connor. At all. Even if I didn’t think Connor was really gay, I feel like most of Mia’s flirting is just her going for a target she knows won’t really reciprocate, and I think that if Connor started really responding in earnest she’d kind of freak out.
  • A wish: To exist again.
  • An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: Being written by Scott Lobdell.
  • 5 words to best describe them: Snarky, impulsive, tough,
  • My nickname for them: Mi
