There will be times when you really want something, an exam you want to ace to get your dream college, an interview that would pave way for your first job.
And sometimes, you wanting it won’t be enough. Your efforts won’t be enough, and you’ll fail miserably. I know what you’re going to do then, you’re going to blame yourself, drown yourself in self doubt, and let that one thing define your worth. You’ll be so afraid to try again, so afraid of giving it another shot. You will run away from anything that makes you vulnerable to failure, and hide from the prospect of trying again.
