“And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.”

Friedrich Nietzsche

Well well well. Here’s my piece for the Letsdrawsherlock challenge of this month, focused on the missing scenes.

I finally finished my entry for Let’s Draw Sherlock’s mini challenge, 221B gets a pet :) I always thought it’d be cute if they had a little kitty named Ormond, after Ormond Sacker from the ACD stories. (and of course he’d have a teeny scarf, too)

Sorry that the font’s so small, here’s what they’re saying if it’s hard to read:

J: Sherlock, why is there a cat on top of the fridge?

S: Mrs. Hudson found him and knitted him a tiny scarf. His name is Ormond.

J: Alright, but why is he on the fridge?

S: He likes to perch on odd places.

J: He’s got your eyes, too.

John heard his name being called from the lower floor. He went downstairs and saw Sherlock standing at the entrance.

SH: John, What should I do?

J: What? (noticing the little creature) Oh.

SH: I ignored her but she kept following me.

J: Hmm.

SH: And she scratched me too…

J: (breaks into laughter) Anyway, come in. You’re soaking wet.

Later, John had to bathe and dry them both.

Sherlock will surely find her mother with his brilliant deduction tomorrow.

And so this is how this little kitten became an one-night pet of 221B.

This is my entry for Let’s Draw Sherlock!! a special short two week challenge: 221b gets a pet!

Thank you for translation kindly, Cerri! xx

The Scholar and the Soldier

How do you feel about the lyre?

So I was trying to organize my files again and came across this old unfinished piece. Anyone remember Let’s Draw Sherlock’s first challenge? Well this is the submission I started… and then gave up on, lol. Not sure if I’ll ever complete it… I don’t really paint the same way anymore, and there would be a bunch of references I’d have to track down again! XD But looking now, I think it’d be a fun AU to share… MY ART TAG
