You do the milk and honey thing in your tea, but what other mixes have you found that are good?
I would recommend to just really experiment with different stuff. There’s a lot of ingredient combinations that I enjoy that others would probably not find as delicious lol but yea, I’ve tried all sorts of stuff:
Cardamom pods (roasted and crushed/cracked)
Black (or white, if you’re lucky enough to find some) peppercorns
White (or black if you’re unable to find white) poppy seeds
Allspice berries (crushed/cracked)
Chocolate. yes, chocolate (cocoa powder or the most pure dark chocolate you can find. I’ve found that if I use good dark chocolate, it wont get as clumpy, but you can use cocoa powder, as well.
Marshmallow root (which, after my own wacky experimentation, my mother insists on making chai with every time (seems to mellow the brew and bridge the spicy heat and the sweet)
Whatever else your spice cabinet calls you to use
Honey, evaporated cane juice or molasses to sweeten
Milk, heavy cream, soy milk, or rice milk (as the “creamy” half)
And there’s probably a bunch of other stuff I’m forgetting. Just go wild & experiment :)
