I painted more fruit studies- I got this ENORMOUS lemon called a ponderosa lemon, as well as some other delicious treats. I’ll make a big fat master post when I tire of these, but I still need to make some mangos and cherimoya!
Holding court with my fruit and my Duckhorn SauvBlanc! Cut grass on the nose with tropical fruit notes - guava and papaya - preserved lemon rind, some lime, and ginger. Loads of lemon, lime, and tropical fruit on the palate with a hint of figs. Silky mouthfeel from the Semillon in the blend - a bit less “sharp” than most SauvBlancs.
