Rainbow Whiptail  (Cnemidophorus lemniscatus)

Exported from Colombia in the 1960s, this lizard is now naturalized in parts of South Florida. they are native to Central America, Northern South America, and the Caribbean. They reach a maximum length of 12 inches. There are asexual (parthenogenic) and sexual populations of rainbow whiptails.
