A high point of every year is when my friend Dave visits Tokyo from London- this past trip I took him on what I call a “photowalk” but what Colin, who also was with us, calls a “deathwalk”- 20 kilometers all over East Tokyo in an afternoon is certainly a long day but it’s a good kind of tired at the end. We all shot a bunch, but just wandering around looking is fine as well. Photography gets us all out of the house and into the real world.
Happy New Year’s Eve, friends! As we all fall headlong into 2015, we hope you can look back upon the last 365 days and see that they’ve made you stronger or more wise or at least were mostly enjoyable! And if not, or either way, I hope the next year brings goodness into your lives. See you after the jump!
And with that, we’ve reached the end of my Leica Year. It’s been a blast (and I’ve continued shooting mostly black and white film with my M6), but it’s time for a brief hiatus. I’m back in India to take care of a few things and will be using the time to decompress from the Internet in general.
