Spent a day in Nay Pyi Taw, the capital of Myanmar. It’s a very surreal place; 20 lane roads without a car in sight with rice paddies lining each one. Hardly anyone lives there apart from government officials. There’s a hotel district with loads of huge 5 star hotels but I can’t see that any of them would have many guests. We would drive around not seeing another person for long periods of time. An extremely weird place
