Hussein Riad was an Egyptian Actor, who was well known for his outstanding roles throughout the 1940’s & 1950’s. He was known best for playing the role of a good father.
How he started
When he was 19 years old, he left school to pursue an acting career. He joined a the George Abiad Troupe that was well-known in Egypt.
Hussein Riad acted in a total of 200 films, 240 sketches, 150 radio series and 150 television series. It’s safe to say that he will forever be remembered as a legendary actor, he was always so warm, loving and comical on the screen!
He acted in both silent and talking movies and left his imprint on the parts he played.

2 tablespoons of butter 2 tablespoons of flour 3 cups chicken broth or more 1 teaspoon of caraway pinch of salt _________________________ Preparation of Moghrabiya : _____________________ Clean the chicken fry onions in oil and then pour the chicken broth and leave to boil over medium heat heat oil and butter and fry the cumin and caraway, add the Moghrabiya and add chicken broth. Stir all thoroughly and cook to medium heat for 20 minutes, stirring from time to another then add chickpeas and chicken and little onion garnish with almonds and toasted pine workshop minced parsley
Sauce Preparation : ______________ Melt the butter over low heat and then put the flour, stir flour with the butter and then put the chicken broth then add the cumin, whisk quickly to avoid blocks left boil 3 minute ,then remove from heat Note that is possible to add the chickpeas and baby onion to the sauce to serve it with the Moghrabiya
