Cory’s death is today. His anniversary. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, go on any of the Glee cast’s social media and speak of him. DO NOT tag them in memory posts. DO NOT spam Lea saying she’s in your prayers. Let them remember him in peace. DO NOT make the day sadder than it has to be.
Having exchanged a few texts back and forth with his former cast-mate, Grant had made plans to meet up with Lea for lunch when he was next in LA. Filming in Vancouver meant the house here was used less, and traveling with his wife back and forth between the two was infinitely better than having to be apart. So getting the chance to spend some time with Lea was a joyous time to catch up with her and her daughter, Kaylee. Grant had Juliet for the afternoon to let Melissa do some errands on her own, never really the kind to expect watching a child all day of his wife like other’s might. Once he got to Panera where they planned to meet, he put Juliet in the stroller and headed inside, getting their food and finding an umbrella covered table outside. He’d just gotten his daughter’s food set up for her to enjoy (hopefully with a minimum of fuss) when he saw Lea approaching. “Hey, stranger…” he smiled, rising into a hug with his Glee costar. “You look amazing, how’ve you been?” he asked, motioning towards the other chairs at the table for her to take one.
I do not understand how fans say the glee cast will fade after Glee. I see and hear more about Lea and Naya than Glee these days. Jane, Grant, Dianna, Heather, Jonathon, Melissa are doing great. I’m sure the others will get project too.
