le sigh

I miss the 2000s because there were so many fashion trends and moments when it was encouraged to look like a hot-ass mess. The Instagram age is this weird era of control and perfection and “eyebrows on fleek” blah blah like I miss when everyone walked around with last night’s eyeliner still on while wearing 25 stupid accessories at once dressed like you slept in trash or whatever.

It’s okay if your pronoun preferences change. If you like one set of pronouns sometimes, but another set the rest of the time. Don’t ever let anyone tell you it’s too complicated - you are wonderful and your pronouns are great, and you deserve to be respected. Use whatever pronouns feel right for you at the time.

Watched Ep28 again and confirmed that Levi’s last sentence “Remember to control yourself and don’t make another blunder. We can’t afford any.” is changed to direct to Eren, not Mikasa. What this change means is that… they also cut off Mikasa reply to Levi – “Yes sir, I will make sure there won’t be any.”

Again the anime team omits the moment when Mikasa is making acknowledgement to her own mistake and actively taking responsibility for it. In Season 1 we didn’t get to see her monologue in which she admits that Levi is the strongest soldier and he would have made it much easier to catch Female Titan, but it is Mikasa’s fault injuring him. And then on the carriage she can talk to the victim of her fault and promise him that she has learned from the past experience and wouldn’t fail again. We all now how important this is to Mikasa’s character development… While she is not vocal about what’s in her mind, she is learning and making efforts to fulfill her responsibilities as soldier.

While I really appreciate the anime team adds high quality filler scenes of Mikasa being super beautiful, I hope they can also do justice to her character development… ^ ^;
