lawyer email

Kiwi || Part Three.

I FULLY intended on posting this last night, but i fell asleep. OOPssss… Enjoy, Part Four soon? Maybe?  Xx

It’s been two weeks since that day at Anne’s house, and whilst Gemma and Anne have remained very much a part of your life, the only thing happening between you and Harry right now was silence. Radio silence. No calls, no texts, no emails, no lawyers sending legal documents. And although it had been nothing but silence on his end, it didn’t mean you hadn’t been doing a little research on his whereabouts on your end. Over your time together, when thousands of miles and numerous timezones would seperate you both learnt to turn to social media to keep a track of which city he would currently be in. Times had not changed all that much; he was spotted at the international airport the morning after he left his mother’s house, and photographed later that night arriving at JFK. He was in New York, most likely to meet with his lawyer, but it had been two weeks and no contact had been made. No news at this point was good news. You on the other had, had been all over the news. Gemma had somehow convinced you to go shopping with her, and you had both been recognised by a fan who got way too happy with her iPhone camera, and well now you, Gemma and your growing bump were all over the internet. Speculation started straight away but with no contact from his end, you were left in the lurch not really knowing what to do.

Does anyone ever think about the fact that after everything with Kate, maybe Derek goes to New York with the decision to never to be hurt that way by anyone again. Not the losing his family part, because how could he ever lose so much again, right? (Right? I’m not crying at all!) So he gets a part-time job as a grocery bagger or something, because he is young and most places won’t hire him halfway through the year. And he works after school to bring in a few bucks so that Laura’s eyes won’t be quite so pinched now that she has gotten her GED and began working to make ends meet for them in a very expensive city. After work, she then spends sometimes hours on the phone and emailing lawyers who are still trying to get all of the paperwork straight. So yeah, Derek  works to help Laura.

But then some lady at the store gives him that look. Like Kate. Her eyes are interested, and her grin is predatory, and he just knows she wants him. So he thinks to himself if he initiates it, maybe it won’t leave him feeling so wrong. So he does. And it becomes a thing. He flirts with anyone who shows him interest as he bags their groceries and “helps them to their car” even though they never need help.

From there maybe it just becomes a way of survival. As he gets older, it seems like more women want to sleep with him. He’s filling out, thanks to all of the runs he’s going on after work and thanks to the workouts he’s pushing his body through every morning. Because he has to be strong enough. He has to be bigger. He doesn’t want anyone to think they can hold him down or force him.

He learns how to play the game. One day he mentions something about that to a coworker (now working at a bar mixing drinks because someone had once told him he would make great money in tips) but his coworker didn’t think of sex as a game. Derek knew better. Maybe it wasn’t for some people, but he would never be able to trust someone in that way again, so he had to strike first before an opponent could.

One day a man at the bar looks at him just right, and Derek just thinks Oh. He’s never focused on men before, but he’s noticed them in passing. So he goes to the guy’s apartment after his shift and they sleep together. Derek pretends he’s done this before, even though he’s mostly relying on his sense of smell and hearing to tell if the guy is into different things he tries. And after that, Derek flirts with anyone he feels he has to.

So fast forward to Stiles. Stiles who is home from college after his second year has finished to make room for summer break. Stiles who means so much and is so good even when he’s an asshole. Stiles who leans in one day after a pack dinner, when he and Derek have finished cleaning up after everyone else has gone home. Stiles kisses him gently, at first, almost hesitantly. But when Derek doesn’t push him away, he presses in more firmly and suddenly Derek realizes where this is going to go. And it kind of makes him sad.

He lets Stiles slip his shirt off and push him back onto his bed. Stiles crawls on top of him and Derek begins pulling their hips together in a slow and sinuous way. But Stiles doesn’t react like any man Derek’s been with before–which really shouldn’t be as much of a surprise as it is. Yes, Stiles lets out a little moan, but it doesn’t break Stiles away from Derek’s mouth, where his tongue is doing things to Derek that he can’t explain. And his hands after trapping Derek’s face, but not like he’s trying to contain Derek, more like he’s holding something precious. His thumbs keep swiping across Derek’s eyebrows, like he’s memorizing their shape.

I’ve found you at last

part 1 + ao3

The papers arrive in a manila folder, hand-delivered by the lawyer Nomi found and Lito hired, a small balding man with a terrible French accent when he speaks English. Kala leads him to the small office, grateful for the Cluster packed as silently as possible in the living room. She doesn’t want to have to explain why she shares an apartment with a dozen other people from all over the world, not when she is about to do something as important as this. Only Riley and Wolfgang are by her side when the lawyer goes through all the papers she needs to read and check and sign, initials and dates she scribbles at the bottom of each page.

It was settled that Rajan would leave her the Parisian apartment if she didn’t ask for anything else, and Kala had too eagerly agreed. Everything else had been done peacefully, through his lawyer and hers, emails sent back and forth halfway across the world during a week or so before the official papers were written, printed, and ready to be sent to a judge.

Hollywood movies Capheus insists on watching had prepared her for more trouble than her divorce turns out to be.

Dylann Roof said he has never been depressed in his life

When asked about his interaction with Dr. Thom Hiers who reached out to him when he posted an ad on Craigslist for someone to accompany him on a tour of Charleston, he denied that it ever happened. He also denied that he ever put an ad on Craigslist. He speculated that perhaps Dr. Hiers made this up and sent it to his attorneys, because he might be working with them. He reported that Dr. Dietz had asked him the same question, and he stated that “I had no contact with Dr. Hiers, period.”

He also denied the reference in those emails that he had “spent weeks in bed depressed” and reiterated that he had “never been depressed in his life.” He went on to state that he is “never in a bad mood” and is “always happy,” unless he thinks about the race problem.

He stated that he is like his father that they “don’t let things bother them,” and therefore neither one of them ever gets depressed.

His lawyers believe that the emails from Thom Hiers are genuine, in part because the photograph is certainly of Dylann Roof.

Those who study authoritarian regimes suggest keeping a list of abnormal events after a demagogue is elected, as a way to remind yourself that this isn’t normal and to keep from being overwhelmed into acceptance by the onslaught of attacks on our rights.
Here is a list below. We are 4 days in.
As the author says, “when you see all of this in one list, it is easy to get overwhelmed, at first– it is also easy to see a pattern and to finally, finally recognize that none of this is normal, nor is it ok.”

What Trump has done so far

This list, circulated on Facebook, is already out of date – it does not include stuff since Tuesday: restrictions on travel and immigration from seven predominately Muslim countries under attack by the U.S.; construction of border wall on the Mexican border and expansion of detention facilities; safe zones aka “no-fly zones” in Syria; plans to reopen “Black Sites” aka torture facilities in third countries; slashing food assistance to the poor; etc. But still useful for showing the scope of attacks on workers and oppressed peoples here and abroad. - redguard

Flynn is the first to receive a committee subpoena, but he may not be the last. Former Trump adviser Carter Page has become a persistent challenge: He’s refused to provide the committee with material it has requested, but has still engaged with the committee frequently and without a lawyer — often emailing long diatribes about being a victim of a conspiracy.

This is probably going to be a useless note, but I would just like to inform you that I think your creations are incredibly inspiring. I have enough sculpting skill to create something -like- your creations rather than buying them and would probably rather do so (since making neat things for keeps is one of my drives in life), and even though I'd never try to outright copy you (and am unlikely to even sell my works), I wonder how you feel about just providing that seed of inspiration.

Wow, anon(s) bringing the complicated questions today.

This is another issue that most artists find themselves facing at some point.  Inspiring others feels awesome. It means a lot to me when people say that, and I think most creatives would agree with me.

But sometimes it crosses a line.  People go from being inspired to outright copying your work.  Sometimes they don’t even realize they’re doing it. I once emailed someone who had studied my designs and was attempting to make their own Beastlies.  It’s not always easy to find a polite way to send that “Please stop doing this so we don’t have to get lawyers in the mix” email, but I tried to encourage her to find her own style instead of just ripping off the style that I had spent six years creating and refining.  She responded by saying that her work looked like mine because “clay is a very limiting medium,” so she couldn’t possibly help making copies of Beastlies.  That kind of crazybrain bullshit nonsense becomes a real problem for artists: People can get SO inspired by one person’s work that they can’t see past it to ever work on anything that’s actually their own.

So you know… Make stuff! Have a great time! I’m delighted to have been inspiring in some way! But keep in mind that just not trying to copy someone isn’t always enough. You actually have to outright TRY NOT to copy other artists.  I do. Everyone does.  It’s an essential part of being a creative person.

My 7 Regrets of 2014 by Marty

Hi Misfits, get ready for some honesty.

1. Not Spending More Time With God. This year was a great year for me, i took the leap of faith and decided to go full-time. I had a great job for 10 years and didn’t think i would ever leave. But i had to make the decision whether to continue with my safe job or take the risk of being a full time artist. My thoughts are if you’re not risking everything you’re not living.

Anyway i thought being full-time would give me more time with God, i was wrong. I am so consumed with lawyers, admins, booking agents, emails, phone calls, writing that by the end of the day i just watch netflix and fall asleep. Truth is i eventually got to the point where i would do a devotional just to get it done and not pray, worship and read the word. I regret it. More than ever i feel stress and the weight of the world. Thankfully i noticed and I’m working on it. Im learning He is my rest. He is my Peace.

2. My Verse on the “Do This” with Bizzle & “No Hero” with Viktory.  Let me say first, those guys are great guys, but my verses were terrible and i know it. i didn’t spend time on it, i wrote it quick and recorded it even quicker. I literally cringe when i hear them. THE LESSON is take your time, also i probably should of said no but i try to please everyone sometimes. Andy taught me now to just say no. But ehhh i didn’t and honestly i hate even talking about it. Don’t listen to my part of those songs. LOL

3. Not Working Out More. Im Fat. I know it. I just love food. On the bright side I just renewed my membership at Youfit. bleh.

4. Not Spending More Time With My Family.

5. Holding Grudges. I need to forgive more. I constantly need to check my heart. I will see someone on instagram or twitter and everything they write will annoy me. So instead of letting it annoy me i just unfollow. But then sometimes people actually have that unfollow app and they will text me “YOU UNFOLLOWED ME” like its real life. Side note- not everyone i unfollow annoys me, sometimes i just want to look cool and have a bunch of followers with 3 following.

(ok this list is taking a lot of time and my ADD is kicking in- heres the final 2.)

6. Not Reading More. I used to do this thing called “Social Book Club” but after i went full time i started reading less and watching more netflix. (DARN YOU DAWSONS CREEK!!!) Im getting back to it- as of recently i have been taking trips to Barnes & Noble and being one of those people who sit on the floor. WHY DONT THEY HAVE MORE CHAIRS.

7. Spending too much time on my phone. Ive become that guy. I feel like sometimes God allows those things to exist just to show us how much time we wasted. Social Media is not real life. I rather hang out with you guys and grab food. Maybe in 2015 well have Misfit Days when we will do more meet and greets. I want to go to Disney soon.

Final Thoughts. My Pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr. talks about this concept of “Falling Forward” meaning you let moments of failure drive you forward to be better. The Bible says A righteous person falls 6 times and gets up 7.

Being totally honest 2014 was the most amazing year of my life. I saw God do things i could never even imagine. Im thankful and beyond grateful. 2015 I’m sure will be even better.  I love God, My family and I love you Misfits. :)

(P.S. The New album will make your head explode.)

Though Clinton’s lawyers scrubbed the email servers in a way that precluded further forensic examination, the FBI is confident “there was no intentional misconduct” by them, Comey said.

“No reasonable prosecutor” would bring criminal charges in this case, Comey announced.

Hillary is fucking getting away with it. Again.

Now watch as she keeps Loretta Lynch around as quid pro quo.
