6. Gotten a tattoo?

No, not yet.

10. Favorite song?

Impossibly broad question.  Current favorite: "Seed of Love" by Ben Caplan and the Casual Smokers

13. Favorite memory?

I have so many wonderful memories.  When I was 8 or 9, my family spent an entire summer traveling to every state park and historic site in my home-state of Missouri (79 of them at the time, all over the state).  We camped, swam, hiked, and spent countless hours in nature centers and museums.  That was definitely a memorable time in my life.

I also remember many hours spent playing NES games with my dad as a child, especially Super Mario Brothers, Tetris, and Contra. Good times!

18. Movies or Books?

Both. Book first, though, if possible. That was a rule in my house when I was growing up: “You can’t watch the movie until you’ve read the book.” Besides, the book is always better. :)

21. Tea or Coffee?

Answered here.

28. Longest relationship?

Four years.

42. Do you like yourself?

Yes. Finally. It took several years of self-discovery and a fair deal of personal growth and change, but I am happy with who I am now. There’s always room to learn and grow, but I’ve learned to love myself over the years. It took time.

Lauren,

You’re beautiful. You have a beauty that shines from deep within in and it only magnifies the outward beauty you have. I love your heart for people and how God has used it! Oh, and your voice. Keep praising because your voice is a sweet sound in the ear of the Father. Thank you for turning to praise the gift He’s given you.

Love you, lady!

My home church is fairly young--19-30 year olds (not counting the newborn), mostly men which is awesome. We don't all agree on every theological issue, and things can get messy because we're together a lot, but we love each other deeply and desire to grow. We're not ones to walk away because things get hard--we're tied together in Christ! It's broken and beautiful.

I don’t know of any Church with all of its members agreeing on everything =P
