We came back home last night. Everyone is sleeping in our house since their bodies are still on mountain standard time.

I’m enjoying an espresso and thinking about our trip.

This was one of my favorite mornings on the mountain. We took the tram to the top and found some great sun and snow.

(As they say, the best camera is the one you have with you. On this morning I decided to only bring the iPhone)

Vermont, March 2016

We drove to Vermont last weekend.

There is something about Vermont. Breakfast taste better. Hiking feel soulful. The rivers and mountains are stunning. The adorable covered bridges. The air just feels different.

The little inn we stayed at didn’t have an electric car charger but a B&B down the road had electric car chargers (4 of them). The owners of the B&B told me that Tesla paid for the gear and installation and they use it quite often for Tesla & Prius (mostly). Even better, this B&B is completely powered by solar so they smiled and proudly declared that our car was given a charge from sunshine.

Did I mention I love Vermont.

Parrot Cay | Post I

Earlier this month we made a quick visit to the island of Parrot Cay to find some relief from this fierce winter. This was truly one of the most restful & relaxing trips we have ever taken as a family.

Adding to the zen feeling of this trip was shooting entirely with film outside a few random iPhone snaps. I did not have to deal with memory cards, batteries or any temptations to process images during the time away. I even left the laptop home as well. It really felt wonderful and right.
