Just bought my ticket to see Say Anything and Fake Problems March 25th and found out Andrew Jackson Jihad and Laura Stevenson & The Cans will be playing March 9th. I’m pretty stoked about these things. I miss going to shows all the time.

I should include some words, but I won’t. This year in music simply spoke for itself in all manner of different ways. I will say that I find it hilarious that my favorite albums of 2011 and 2010 are about each other. (Apocalypse and Joanna Newsom’s Have One on Me.)

Dangerous Ponies/ Laura Stevenson & The Cans show tonight was a BLAST.
Definitely (unsurprisingly) almost cried during Laura Stevenson’s set because her music is powerful as fuck as always. Dangerous Ponies are really rad live, seriously go to one of their shows if you have the opportunity (and like queer glittery danceable music…but duh).
