Pairing: Peter Parker x Reader
Description: You were Tony Starks daughter, that being said Tony was very protective of you and your whereabouts. You were finally able to go to a party without your dad hassling you, but what you didn’t know was he had sent Peter to look over you, but not without giving him strict rules to follow of course.
Warnings: Alcohol, drinking, cuteness
Word Count: 3,465
A/N: Ahhhhh! This was so much fun to write, ngl I’ve been writing it for like two hours ahah. But I think it’s super cute and I just hope you like it! Enjoy.
All your life your dad had protected you, you didn’t know if it was because he was Iron Man, or because it was just him being your overprotective dad.
Tony never allowed you to go to parties, or even go on dates with boys’.
“But dad!” You whined, following him into his lab.
“No, Y/N, we’ve been over this many times, you going to parties is just something I’m not comfortable with yet.” Tony rubbed his forehead, letting out a deep sigh he didn’t know he was holding in.
“This is so unfair! I bet when you were my age your parents let you go out and have fun. But for me, I’m trapped here in the Avengers building like a prisoner.” You ranted angrily, your hands moving in all kinds of motions.
Tony watched you carefully, he knew you were right, when he was a teenager his parents let him go out and do whatever he wanted. But when it came to you, it was different, he just wanted you to be safe. He knew people treated you differently since you were his daughter, your last name giving you a reputation.
“Look Y/N,” Tony sighed, catching your attention quickly, your eyes filled with hope that maybe, just maybe he’d change his mind for once.
“Let me think about it okay? This isn’t easy for me.” Tony muttered, but you were already beaming with joy.
He was going to think about it, you could potentially be going to your first high school party, with people your age for once.
“Thanks dad, you’re the best!” You squealed happily, giving him a hug which he gladly accepted, chuckling to himself as he saw you skip giddily down the hallway.
He knew you were growing up, but he just kept making himself refuse to believe it.
“What are you all smiley about?” Steve laughed, seeing your beaming smile as you entered the room.
“Dad might finally let me go to my first high school party.” You grinned, grabbing a mug and pouring yourself a cup of coffee.
“Wow. Really? Stark is willing to let his only daughter go to a party?” Steve said in disbelief, it wasn’t unknown that everyone knew how protective your dad was over you.
You nodded your head, the smile still on your lips.
“What? Who’s going to a party?” Natasha chimed in, glancing between the two of you.
“Stark might let Y/N go to her first high school party.” Steve smirked, grabbing a newspaper before sitting down at the table.
“Whaaaat! No way, girl you’re growing up.” Natasha teased, ruffling your hair, making you swat her hands away.
“It’s about time I finally experience high school for what it is.” You stated jokingly, making them both laugh.
“What’s so funny?” Clint came into the kitchen, making you sigh and look at Natasha and Steve.
“I don’t have time for this, you tell him.” You laughed, taking your cup of coffee with you as you exited the kitchen.
You were half way down the hall when you heard Clint shout ’No way! Stark is finally letting her have fun!’ Making you roll your eyes, a faint smile on your lips as you walked back to your room.
It was Friday night, the perfect time for parties to happen, and you had only found out a few hours earlier you were finally allowed to go to one.
“Yes! Thank you dad! Thankyouthankyouthankyou!” You jumped up and down, hugging Tony tightly.
“Just don’t make me regret it okay?” He gave you a warning look, making you nod frantically, too overjoyed.
He soon exited your room, leaving you to get ready, Tony prayed you wouldn’t go overboard, but then again you were his daughter, so he knew you would even if you weren’t trying too.
“Friday, can you send Parker to my office please? Thank you.”
“Sure thing Mr. Stark, he’s on his way now.”
Tony walked around his office, trying to act interested in something before Peter knocked on his door anxiously.
“Y-You wanted to see m-me?” Peter stammered, making Tony turn around swiftly, a smile planted on his face.
“Mr. Parker, yes, please sit down.” Tony motioned to the chair, which Peter sat in hesitantly.
Peter didn’t know what was going on, Tony never needed him for really anything, so he knew this was a serious manner.
“You see, Mr. Parker, my daughter Y/N is going to her first high school party tonight, and I promised her I wouldn’t hassle her, and since you two are the same age, and go to the same school, I would like you to make sure she doesn’t do anything she’ll regret.” Tony folded his hands on his desk, watching Peter’s eyes widen.
“You want me.. To spy on your daughter?” Peter hesitantly spoke, blinking a few times.
“Yes. Isn’t it obvious? I just told you that.” Tony spoke bluntly, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion.
“Anyways, it’s tonight, as a girls’ house named Liz Allen, just make sure Y/N doesn’t get into trouble.” Tony stated, pointing a finger at Peter, who was shaking in his seat.
“G-Got it Mr. Stark, I w-won’t let you down.” He stammered, standing up from his chair.
“Oh and one last thing,” Tony stood up, walking over to Peter who looked visually nervous.
“Yes?” Peter questioned, playing with the end of his sleeve nervously.
“I’m sending you to this party because I trust you’ll take care of my daughter, that being said, if I find out you and her do anything behind my back, I will know about it. Got it?” Tony gave him a stern look, sending shivers up Peters spine.
“-Yes, got it Mr. Stark. No funny business.” Peter clapped his hands, licking his lips nervously before exiting the office.
Tony nodded his head in approval before Peters words sunk into his head.
“Wait, what do you mean no funny business? Parker!” Tony shouted, only making Peter smile slightly and sprint back to his room.
It was finally the time for you to leave, to say you weren’t exited would be a complete and utter lie, you were bubbling with happiness.
“Okay, Y/N, have fun, but not too much fun, -just be safe okay?” Tony smiled softly, as you nodded, a bright smile on your face.
“I will.” You leaned over, giving him a kiss on the cheek before getting out of the car, receiving waves and ‘hellos’ from people around you.
Once you went inside, it was like you entered a whole new world, music was blasting, people were dancing, red cups were everywhere, this is what you were waiting to experience.
You were wandering around the gorgeous house, before running into Liz.
“Hey Y/N! I’m so glad you could make it!” She smiled happily, hugging you.
“Me too Liz, me too.” You grinned, glancing around the room, giving a small wave at Ned and Michelle who were here also.
“Well we have snacks and drinks in the kitchen if you want anything.” She smiled, making your eyes light up.
“You had me at drinks.” You grinned, looping your arm with hers before disappearing into the kitchen.
It was time to party.
Peter had soon arrived after you did, his mind going at warp speed after his talk with Tony.
He walked inside, seeing everyone having fun, dancing, eating, drinking.
He noticed Ned and Michelle, walking over to them.
“Hey guys.” Peter greeted, giving Ned a fist bump before glancing around the room.
“Hey dude, I didn’t think you’d be here.” Ned grinned, making Peter gasp dramatically.
“I can party.” Peter defended, making Ned and Michelle laugh.
“Peter, nobody wants that.” Ned laughed, making Peter give him a look.
“Also, have you guys by any chance seen Y/N?” He looked around once again, seeing you were nowhere to be found.
“Yes actually, she arrived a few minutes before you, she was talking to Liz and then they ventured into the kitchen and that was the last time I saw them. Michelle?” Ned gestured to the brunette haired girl, who shrugged.
“I heard Liz mention something about drinks and snacks.” Michelle shrugged again, before walking off.
“Shit, nonononono.” Peter mumbled, biting his lip nervously.
“Dude what’s wrong, you’re sweating so bad.” Ned looked over Peter’s worried expression.
“Mr. Stark sent me here to keep an eye on Y/N and I cannot afford to bring her back drunk Ned!” Peter vented, his voice cracking a bit.
“Lets go check the kitchen.” Ned suggested, as they both went to search for you.
“Chug! Chug! Chug!” Everyone shouted, before cheering and clapping.
There you were, sitting on the counter with Liz, doing shots, and basically drinking whatever was handed to the both of you.
“Shit. This is not good.” Peter groaned, rubbing his hand over his face.
“Dude, you’re so dead.” Ned patted Peter on the back, his eyes widened at the sight before him.
You were having the time of your life, you never got to do this, and it was even better that it was with Liz.
“Who wants another round?!” Liz shouted, making everyone cheer, including yourself.
A guy started pouring more shots, which gave Peter the chance to talk to you.
“Hey, Y/N, it’s Peter, hey, look at me..” Peter took your face into his hands, seeing how bloodshot they already were, he knew you were wasted.
“Petey!” You squealed, your smile bright.
“Hey.” Peter mumbled, moving a strand of hair out of your face.
“This party is amaaaazziinnnggg!” You giggled, making Peter chuckle quietly, he had never seen you in this state before.
“Y/N, do it with me!” Liz shouted, handing you a shot, you both raised your arms into the air, shouting cheers before letting the cold liquid burn your throat once again.
“Who wants to do belly shots?!” Some girl shouted, making Liz squeal excitedly, stumbling off the counter.
“Come on Y/N!” She motioned for her to follow her outside, you stumbled off the counter, doing your best to follow her.
“Yeah, no.” Peter laughed, wrapping his arms around your waist, lifting you off the ground.
“We’re going to get you home.” Peter sighed, as you tried to fight him off of you.
“No way! I want to stay and partaaaaay!” You giggled, trying to grab things on your way out of the kitchen.
“Damn. She’s so wasted.” Michelle’s eyes widened when she saw your state.
“Better not let Tony see her like this Peter.” Ned raised his eyebrows, making Peter roll his eyes in response.
“Believe me, if I returned with her like this I would be dead before I even entered the building.” Peter muttered, picking you up and carrying you outside.
It was going to be a long night.
Peter had taken you back to his place, he was pretty sure Aunt May wouldn’t mind, at least he hoped.
“Peter you’re back! How was the party? Did yo-” She turned around, seeing you in his arms.
“Do I need to call her father?” May sighed, looking at Peter.
“No! I have this under control.” Peter spoke quickly, praying she wouldn’t call Tony.
“Alright, well, just get her some water okay? Maybe some aspirin.” May looked at the two of you once more before disappearing into her room.
Peter set you down on his bed, rushing off to get some water and aspirin like May said too.
“Hey, Y/N.” Peter spoke calmly, making you smile.
“Hey Petey!” You giggled, making him bite his lip to stop him from laughing.
“I got you some water and some aspirin, will you take it for me?” Peter helped you sit up, but you’d immediately fall back down.
“Alright, maybe in an hour.” Peter mumbled, setting it down on his dresser.
“Petey.” You mumbled, making him glance at you.
“Did you know..” You giggled, rolling onto your side, “That drunken thoughts are sober words that you normally can’t admit.” You grinned, looking at him.
To be drunk and in love in New York City.
To not know who I am but still know that,
I’m good long as you’re here with me.
“Y/N, don’t say something you’ll regret later.” Peter looked at you nervously, not knowing what could come out of your mouth.
“I really like you Petey, like I reaaaallllyyy like you.” You giggled once again, making Peter’s eyes widen.
You liked him, the girl of his dreams had a crush on him.
“Y/N, you’re drunk, you don’t know what you’re saying.” Peter tried to brush off what you were saying, but he couldn’t help let every word sink into his head.
“No. Petey.” You sat up, doing your best to look at him, but failing miserably.
Peter turned to look at you, his cheeks already flushed at how close you two were.
“I really like you.” You poked his chest, making him take a deep breath.
“Y/N.” He mumbled, running his fingers through his hair.
“Don’t you get it?” You sighed, leaning your head on his shoulder.
“I like me better when I’m with you, I don’t know what it is but I got that feeling and ever since then I knew I liked you.” You mumbled, closing your eyes.
Peter just sat there in silence, listening to you drunkenly pour your heart out for him.
His heart was racing, he couldn’t believe this was all happening.
He snapped back into reality, hearing your soft snores.
He gently laid you down on his bed, deciding to let you sleep a bit, he couldn’t afford to let you go back to Mr. Stark that way.
Hours passed and you slowly started waking up, confusion quickly spreading across your face.
You sat up quickly, before grabbing your head and letting out a loud whine.
“Ow.” You groaned, glancing at your surroundings.
“Hey Y/N, glad to see your awake.” Peter smiled, making your eyes widen.
“What? What am I doing here?” You questioned, making Peter’s eyes widen this time.
“Oh, well, um, you see.. You got really drunk, and well I took you back here because I couldn’t let Mr. Stark see you like that.” Peter explained, rubbing the back of his neck nervously.
I might get to too much talking.
“I brought you some water and aspirin.” Peter handed you the water which you gladly accepted, taking the aspirin with it.
“I think we should get you back home now though.” Peter smiled, making you nod in agreement.
Peter did his best to get you into the building without anyone noticing, which he did, at least he thought.
“Y/N, you uh, you told me something before you fell asleep.” Peter stammered nervously, looking at the ground.
You felt your heart start to race, you couldn’t have told him.
“Look Peter it’s late.. can we talk about this in the morning?” You questioned, making him nod.
You definitely needed to sleep for a while.
Midnight into morning coffee.
Coffee is exactly what you needed.
You wandered out of your room, squinting at the bright light, you hated being hung over, it was the worst.
You made yourself a strong pot of coffee, turning around only to meet Steve and Natasha.
“Whoa there girly, someone had a bit too much fun.” Steve grinned, as you sent him a death glare.
“You look awful.” Natasha pointed out, making you sigh.
“I know, dad is going to kill me.” You muttered, looking up and locking eyes with Peter.
Natasha and Steve both turned to see who you looking at, smirks slowly forming on their faces.
“We’ll leave you two alone.” They both got up, leaving the kitchen, patting Peter as he walked in.
“Hey.” He mumbled, giving you a soft smile.
“Hey..” You bit your lip slightly, sitting down at the table.
“Look, about last night.. You said something..” Peter fiddled with his hands nervously.
“It’s true Peter.” You admitted, taking a sip of your coffee, only to meet Peters wide eyes.
“I-It is?” He stammered, making you smile.
“Yes, I do like you Peter.” You laughed quietly, making his eyes light up.
“I’ve liked you since we first met Y/N.” Peter confessed, making your heart race.
You both started leaning in, until your lips connected, smiles both forming on your faces.
“You want to see a movie later?” Peter smiled, making you giggle quietly.
“Sure Peter.” You replied, kissing his lips one more time before running off to your room, leaving him with a goofy smile on his face.
“Mr. Parker, I assume you brought my daughter home okay?” Tony walked into the kitchen, pouring himself a cup of coffee.
“Yeah, uh, all good Mr. Stark.” Peter smiled nervously, slowly getting up to run out of the room.
“No funny business right?” Tony turned to look at Peter, who’s eyes widened and face flushed.
Peter opened his mouth to reply, but couldn’t find the words, so instead he did the only thing he knew.
“Parker!” Tony shouted, watching Peter rush off to his room.
Tony’s mouth turned into a small smile, seeing Peter rush off, his own smile on his face.

could i request a peter and reader where the reader is a shy painter and secretly has a crush on peter so everyday she draws pictures in a sketchbook for him. one day she loses it and peter finds it and realizes her feelings
Pairing: Peter Parker x Reader
Description: You were the shy person at school, nobody really noticed you, which was the whole objective. However, you did have a huge crush on the one and only Peter Parker. You spent a good portion of your time drawing him or painting him in your sketchbook, but one day it goes missing, putting you in a panic to find it before he did.
Warnings: None, it’s just really cute and sweet.
Word Count: 1,857
A/N: So this is just really dorky and sweet and ugh I just wish Peter Parker was real!!!!
Like every normal school day, you walked in, nobody really paid attention to you, which you mentally were thankful for, thus leaving you to doing what you did best, drawing.
But who you were drawing was another story, you drew your one and only crush Peter Parker, he’d be standing by his locker sometimes, or walking with his best friend Ned, no matter where he went, you still managed to draw him.
Today, he was standing in the middle of the hallway, staring off at his one and only crush Liz.
You couldn’t help but feel a pang of jealously, you wished deep down he’d look at you like that, but you knew there would never be a chance in the world, mainly since he didn’t know you existed.
So you would watch in sadness as his heart chased another girl, wishing it was you he was chasing after.
The bell would then ring, signaling you to get to class before you were late, and that’s exactly what you did, just like every other day.
You’d sit down at your table, Peter and Ned walking in a few minutes before the late bell would ring, taking their seats and then the teacher would start the lesson, except today was different.
You’d normally draw during class, but today you couldn’t, mainly because the teacher had assigned a group project, and you were the lucky winner to be in a group with none other than Peter and Ned.
Your eyes widened in fear, hearing your name being called as the teacher announced the groups, you could see Peter and Ned look behind them at you.
They both turned around, pulling their chairs up to your desk, making you visibly shake, this wasn’t the way it was supposed to go.
“Hey Y/N right?” Ned smiled, making you blink a few times before nodding.
“You’re not much of a talker are you?” Peter smiled, making your eyes widened a bit, you were mentally hitting yourself as you once again nodded in response.
“Well, we should probably get started.” Ned laughed, beginning to work on the project, but Peter was too focused on you, he couldn’t figure you out, he could tell there was a part of you that nobody knew, but he didn’t know why.
“Peter, stop staring man, it’s creepy.” Ned nudged Peter’s elbow, making his cheeks tint red from embarrassment for being caught staring.
You on the other hand, were more focused on the project rather than anything, but you felt your heart beat a bit quicker when you heard the words leave Ned’s mouth.
Peter had been staring at you, but the question was why? You didn’t think you were giving off any hints that you liked him, you were praying that you weren’t anyways.
“This is an in class assignment, we’ll be working on this for the rest of the week, so make sure you come to class.” The teacher added, walking around the room to observe everyone’s work so far.
The teacher came around to your group, peering over your shoulders along with Peter’s and Ned’s. You always hated when they did something like that, it felt so awkward and uncomfortable, you never knew what you could do or not do with them so close.
You felt a tap on your shoulder, making you glance up at the teacher who’s eyes moved towards your sketchbook, making your face heat up instantly.
“Y/N, I’ve told you many times I don’t want to see this in my classroom.” The teacher scolded, making your heart beat quickly.
“I-I know, I-I’m sorry..” You mumbled, reaching for the sketchbook, but the teacher stopped you, placing their hand on it.
“I think I’m just going to confiscate it for today, come back for it at the end of school.” The teacher gave a small smile, making your eyes widen with fear.
If they looked through it, you would be so screwed, they would know all your darkest secrets, and that you liked Peter.
“Damn man, that sucks.” Ned muttered, watching the teacher walk away with your sketchbook.
“I didn’t know you could draw, you should show me sometime.” Peter smiled, trying to engage you in a conversation.
“Y-Yeah, maybe?” You mumbled more in a questioning way, making Peter’s eyes light up a bit.
“You seem pretty tense though, what’s in there anyways?” Ned questioned, making you freeze for a split second, your eyes flickering to Peter then to Ned.
“Uhm.. Uh.. N-Nothing..” You shrugged, continuing to write down answers on the paper in front of you.
Ned looked at you curiously, then at Peter who was also suspicious.
The bell eventually rang, making you let out a sigh of relief, the class felt like eternity for you.
You grabbed your belongings, rushing out the room to your next class, you needed this day to be over, you needed your sketchbook back.
“Dude what is Y/N hiding, it’s all I can think about!” Ned shouted, making Peter chuckle and shrug at his best friend.
“Whatever it is, she doesn’t want anyone to know.” Peter grinned, grabbing ahold of his backpack straps.
The day went on and finally the last bell rang, meaning you could get your sketchbook back and feel safe once again.
“Hi, I’m here for my sketchbook.” You smiled nervously, looking at the teacher who rolled their eyes slightly.
“That’s strange, I could have sworn I put it right here..” The teacher mumbled, pushing stuff around in their drawers.
“Y/N, I promise I put it some place safe, but it’s not here anymore.” The teacher looked at you guiltily as they saw your face pale.
“I need to find it.” You spoke quietly, before rushing out of the room to check lost and found.
You shoved all the items around, none of them being your sketchbook, your heart was beating so hard you could feel it in your throat.
Where was it? Who took it? Who’s seen it?
You quickly went to go look in the hallways, turning the corner quickly, but enough to bump right into someone.
“Ow.” You mumbled, glancing at you who had ran into, it happened to be Peter, who was also holding your sketchbook.
Your eyes widened as your eyes flickered to the book, then back to him, who was as equally surprised.
“I-I can e-explain.” You stammered, your face flushing with embarrassment.
“Y/N, these are so good, I didn’t know you could draw so well.” Peter spoke up before you, making your eyebrows furrow in confusion.
“Especially the ones of me.” He added, a small smile forming on his lips.
“Y-You don’t t-think it’s w-weird?” You whispered, a small smile beginning to form on your lips also.
“No, in fact I really like them.” He smiled, skimming through your sketchbook again, he was amazed when he found it, and even more surprised when he looked at all your drawings.
He knew he shouldn’t have snooped, but he couldn’t help himself, but he was glad he did, because the more he looked at your drawings, the more his feelings grew for you.
“I uh.. I drew them for you..” You smiled, making his eyes widen, a grin spreading across his face.
“Really? You didn’t have to do that Y/N.” He smiled, walking closer to you, making your heart once again beat faster.
“I-I was going to give them to you..” You admitted, looking down at the floor, but you felt his fingers tilt your chin up so you were looking into his eyes.
“Thank you.” He smiled, kissing your cheek, surprising not only you but himself too.
“If y-you couldn’t tell, I-I really l-like you..” You mumbled, laughing quietly, making his heart melt.
He loved your laugh, it was like music to his ears.
“If it helps at all, I like you too Y/N, a lot.” He smiled, making your cheeks red, he liked you, Peter Parker liked you, not Liz, you.
“Now since we have that settled, why don’t you teach me some tricks, I want to draw you too.” Peter grinned, making you laugh once again.
“Alright Parker, lets see what you got.” You shot back, surprising yourself at how forward you were, making him laugh at your reaction as he wrapped his arm around your shoulder.
“I’m going to nail it.” Peter joked, making you roll your eyes playfully.
“We’ll see.” You smiled, as Peter handed you back your sketchbook.
“No, you keep it.” You laughed, placing the sketchbook back into his hand, as he watched you in confusion.
“I drew them for you, didn’t I?” You smiled, making his heart melt once again, he was so thankful Ned had talked him into looking at your sketchbook, if he hadn’t none of this would have happened, and in that moment he realized he would be lost without you.
Description: You were new to the school, you were awkward and shy like you always were whenever you moved schools’. You soon fell into a group of friends that you loved. You were extremely close with Peter, sometimes you believed that you two could be something, but you knew he loved Liz, making you distance yourself to see if he’d notice.
Warnings: Lots of sadness prepare yourself.
Word Count: 2,751
A/N: Hey guys, I know it’s been a realllyy long time since I’ve written anything and I genuinely apologize for that. I’ve been in a really dark slump lately and haven’t been motivated at all. But I’m trying my best to get back into writing and making you all happy. Therefore, I’m writing a Spider-Man Homecoming imagine because how can you not love Peter Parker? Anyways, I hope you enjoy. :)
Side Note: I wrote this so sad that I was crying while typing it.
You had transferred schools’ three times now, your father was always traveling because of his job, meaning your whole family had to travel with him.
You didn’t mind the traveling part, however the transferring of schools’ that you did mind.
You hated being the new kid at school, you were always the topic of the day until everyone got used to you being there.
Everyone would stare and talk about you behind your back, some would be nice and some not so nice.
You had to admit, you weren’t the best at making friends, you were more of a loner, an awkward person that didn’t socialize with others very well, you were extremely shy.
That is till you met your dream team of friends.
You were once again traveling, this time to New York, and attending to Midtown High School.
You assumed it was going to be like the rest of the times you transferred, everyone would stare and look at you and talk about you.
But this was different, someone actually noticed you, someone actually talked to you.
It was during lunch, you saw a girl and two guys sitting at a table by themselves, you figured they wouldn’t mind you sitting there along with them, so you did.
This intrigued them all, they had never seen you before.
“Hey, quiet one, who are you?” The girl asked, making you snap your head in her direction.
You looked around at first, before pointing a finger at yourself as if to ask ‘are you talking to me?’ which made her nod.
You swallowed nervously, not used to having to speak.
“I uh.. My name is Y/N, I just moved here.” You gave a shy smile, which only made the girl nod in curiosity.
“I see.. Well my name is Michelle, but you can call me MJ.” She smiled slightly, going back to her book.
You nodded, before glancing at the two boys who were staring at you.
You raised an eyebrow, making them snap back into reality and try to hide the fact they were looking at you.
You rolled your eyes playfully, making them smile.
“I know Michelle just asked you your name, but can you tell us again?” The brunette asked, making you even more nervous.
“It’s Y/N.” You smiled slightly, messing with the ends of your hair.
“Nice to meet you, I’m Peter and this is Ned.” He smiled, as Ned waved a friendly hello at you.
You laughed quietly, waving back.
“So, how’s your first day going?” Peter asked, making you nearly choke on your water.
You were confused as to why they were still talking to you, so this threw you off guard and into complete embarrassment.
“It’s uh.. going as it usually does?” You spoke more as a question than an answer.
“Do you transfer a lot?” Ned asked, making you nod sadly.
“My third time.” You shrugged, letting out a small sigh.
They both nodded understandingly, and soon before you knew it, you all became best friends.
You’ll always remember that day in the cafeteria, the first day you actually made friends.
Now it was a normal routine to have lunch with all of them, talk about whatever tests or labs that you all had coming up.
However, the only thing coming up was homecoming.
Over the past few months you’d been at Midtown High, you started developing feelings for your best friend Peter.
You didn’t know how it happened, but it just did and it scared you.
“We should probably stop looking before it gets creepy.” You heard Peter tell Ned as they were off staring at Liz Allen.
The girl of Peter’s dreams.
A girl that wasn’t you.
You knew about Peter’s love for Liz, he made it extremely obvious.
You did your best to not show how much it bothered you, but it started to push you to your limits.
He would talk about her outfit, or her hair, or just her in general whenever he could.
And it killed you.
Michelle soon figured out your secret, that you liked Peter, she promised she wouldn’t tell, but she knew how much it killed you to see him chase after a different girl.
“So, I want to ask Liz to homecoming but I don’t know how, she probably already has a date, why would she even go with me-” Peter rambled, but Ned cut him off.
“Dude, chill, just ask her.” He slapped his hand on Peter’s shoulder, making him blink a few times.
You just sat there, quietly listening to it all.
“Y/N, what do you think I should do? You’re a girl, what do you like?” Peter questioned, sitting down in a chair in front of you.
You bit your lip before thinking.
“Okay.. If you were to say, as an example as me to homecoming, I’d like it if you made a cheesy sign and have flowers asking me.” You nodded, before looking back at Peter.
You both locked eye contact for a moment, and you could have sworn something happened in those few seconds.
But it was soon ripped away as Peter clapped his hands, telling you how brilliant you were.
You gave a fake smile, wishing it would be for you instead.
There were only two days left till homecoming, Peter still hadn’t asked Liz to homecoming, something about wanting it to be perfect.
You had hit your breaking point, you were done being around him when all he did was talk about Liz.
You decided to distance yourself from him and Ned those next few days.
Your headphones plugged into your ears that way you could avoid them if they talked to you.
You even started sitting down with Michelle rather than with them at lunch.
At first they both thought you were just being nice and wanted to sit with her, but then as it became more frequent they got curious as to why you had been avoiding them.
If only they really knew the truth.
The day of homecoming soon arrived, you had decided against going, not wanting to see Peter and Liz dance together.
Michelle tried to convince you to go with her, but even she knew you wouldn’t have fun.
You had avoided Peter and Ned for three days now, you could tell they were getting annoyed with you, but you didn’t care.
You were laying on the couch, watching Netflix with an ice cream tub in your lap.
You weren’t going to lie, you wished you were at homecoming, you hated being at home, but you couldn’t afford seeing someone you liked so much to be with someone else.
You were about to take a spoonful of ice cream when you heard a knock at your door.
You huffed, getting up and heading to the door, only to reveal Peter standing before you.
“Y/N, we need to talk.” He spoke, frustration evident in his voice.
You let him in, confusion displaced on your face.
“Okay, talk.” You crossed your arms, looking at him.
He was pacing back and forth, making you even more confused.
“Why have you been avoiding me?” He blurted out, making your eyes widened a bit.
“I-I haven’t.. I mean.. What are you talking about?” You stammered, making him glare at you.
“You know what I’m talking about, for the past three days you haven’t been talking to me, listening to me, even eating lunch with me.” He was counting off everything, and it was all true.
You looked around the apartment, refusing to look at Peter.
“What did I do?” He questioned, his voice cracking which made you look at him instantly.
He looked like he was about to cry, breaking your heart instantly.
“You love someone else.” You whispered, tears threatening to fall.
Peter looked at you confused at first, before realization hit him.
“Y/N, when we first met, I thought that I told you we’re friends and nothing more!” He closed his eyes, speaking loudly which made you swallow nervously.
“I didn’t mean to.. I-I tried not to.. I-I” You stammered, a tear slipping down your cheek.
Peter just stood there, unsure of what to say or do.
You were pleading he’d say something or do something, just something to make everything okay again.
“I think I’m going to go. I have to meet Liz for homecoming.” He sighed, refusing to look at you before walking out the door.
It was a moment like this that you never felt so low.
Your heart was breaking, your sobbing was becoming uncontrollable, and you had nobody to lean on.
She hides away, like a ghost,
Does she know that we bleed the same?
Don’t wanna cry but I break that way.
You wanted to call Michelle, but you didn’t want to ruin her homecoming.
You wanted to call Ned, to tell him everything, and by everything you meant everything.
But mainly you wanted to call Peter, to explain everything.
But every time you picked up your phone, you remembered the way he was before he left.
He was upset with you, for liking him.
And that upset you too.
You knew you shouldn’t have fallen for him, but it just happened.
You couldn’t take being trapped in your apartment, so you decided to go for a walk.
You grabbed your jacket, heading outside.
It was a bit chilly, but you didn’t mind.
You needed to clear your mind, mainly to get Peter off your mind.
You figured he was at the dance right now, with Liz, Ned, and Michelle, dancing and having fun.
You felt another tear slip down your cheek, you looked miserable, anyone could see that clear as day.
What you didn’t know though was that Peter decided to not go with Liz, he had arrived at the dance with her, but told her he had to go, and everyone knew why.
Because of you.
It’s always been you.
He rushed back as quick as he could to your apartment, but felt his heart drop when you didn’t answer.
It was times like this that he liked being Spider-Man, he climbed through your window to see you really weren’t there, creating him to panic.
Did you run away?
Did you run away?
I don’t need to know if you ran away,
If you ran away,
Come back home,
Just come home.
Peter was out looking for you, he knew that in certain times you went on walks, but what made him nervous was that it was at night, and it was his fault you were out there.
He flew all over the streets, until he spotted you.
I got fear, oh, in my blood,
She was carried up into the clouds,
He rushed down to you, you had been hit by a drunk driver, Peter never felt worse in his entire life.
His heart dropped to his stomach, his eyes watering behind the mask.
“Y/N, hey, wake up, come on, please.” He begged, holding your face in his hands.
He begged, pleading for you to wake up and tell him what an idiot he was for not seeing how much you liked him sooner.
He wanted to hear you laugh, he wanted to see your shy smile you always gave him.
You opened your eyes for a brief second, seeing a red blur, you could hear mumbling but it was faint.
You could barely recognize the voice as Peter, which only made you smile just thinking about him.
Peter was doing his best to keep you awake, moving a piece of your hair out of your face.
“Y/N, don’t close your eyes, do you hear me? Don’t close your eyes.” He pleaded, but he knew he was losing an ending battle.
You did your best to keep them open, but your eyes slowly fell shut, one last tear slipping down your cheek.
You laid there, limp, making Peter scream in anger and sadness.
He lost the one true person who genuinely cared for him, and he blamed himself for it.
If he had only stayed there with you and talked it out, this wouldn’t have happened.
If he had just listened to you, or paid more attention to how you acted around him this all could have been prevented.
But it was too late.
Peter didn’t even care at this point, he ripped off his mask, pulling you into his arms, angry sobs escaping from his mouth.
That was a day Peter would remember forever, something he could never forget, the day his true love died in his arms.

You were nervous, you obviously were…I mean this was your first time attending Midtown High. I don’t get why Tony (Your dad) would send me to this school honestly. I mean first of all this kid who Tony knows goes here, and second of all wouldn’t this mean horrible stuff could happen! Well whatever…It was time to face reality.
You walked through the halls of Midtown high on your first day of school hating that you knew nobody ”Y/n!” You heard a kid obviously in the same grade as you, yell out your name. Shit shit shit. You turned around to see a curly brunette running towards you with a paper in his hand. You stopped walking so he could catch up to say whatever he had to. “Uhh do I know you?” You asked softly your voice slightly high from the reason of ‘WHO THE FUCK IS THIS’, “I-I’m Peter…Peter Parker” He looked down at the floor when he felt the blush creep on his face. “Oh?” you said as he looked up at you, “Tony..Er I mean your dad wanted me to give this to you” He said with his eyebrows furrowed when he saw the girl he knew before. Liz Allan. “Hello? What did he want to give me?” You asked as he looked back over at you. “You’re um schedule..You forgot it I guess…” He said as his voice lowered from seeing all the kids from seeing everyone he use to know in middle school. “Thanks” You smiled as you took the paper from him, “Hey look Peter has a girlfriend!” Flash called out as he ran and pushed your books onto the floor, “Asshole” You hissed at flash as you picked up your books and quickly picked up the paper that was for you. “Thanks again….Pete” You smiled as you walked off.
That day during lunch you actually had somewhere to sit, you sat at the same table Peter and Ned did. “The science teacher was being a dippy today” you commented which got a short laugh from Ned, “Seriously Y/n” Peter said as he moved his food around on his plate. You rolled your eyes playfully, “I mean he already gave us homework and a three page syllabus! Its stupid” You replied. “She is right” Ned said as he took a bite of his sandwich, it went quiet for a moment but thankfully Ned asked Peter something “Hey Peter? Do you want to hang out and build this new LEGO set I got?” Ned asked kind of loudly to get Peter’s attention. “I’m guessing you would like to go to my house to build it?” Peter diverted his attention to him. Ned nodded, “Do you guys mind if I help out with the LEGO set after school with you guys?” You asked wondering if it was a good idea to ask. Peter looked at Ned and Ned had the look of ‘What the actual fuck’. “Uh yeah sure..” Peter looked back over at you. You had a grin on your face, “Cool” You said.
You appeared at the foot step of Peter’s apartment wearing ripped skinny jeans and a black shirt. You thought this was too much considering you just met him, and you were bringing over your backpack. You knocked on the door “coming!” You heard a older womens voice. ‘This could be his mom..’ You thought to yourself then the front door almost swung open to reveal a Women who appeared to be in her 30′s. “Hi is um Peter home yet?” you asked trying not to come off as being a rude person. “Yes he is in his room, the door should be open so its easier to find, By the way I’m May. I’m Peter’s aunt. Its nice to meet you, I’m afraid I didn’t catch your name sweetie?” May said, “Oh I’m Y/n” you smiled as you walked in and closed the door. You walked into Peter’s room to see just Ned sitting on his bunk bed. “Where’s Peter” You asked as you set down your book bag on the floor and closed the bedroom door, “I don’t know..But it seems like his Aunt May doesn’t know that he is out” You nodded and walked over to Ned. “His room is very messy” You commented as you started to help him assemble the LEGO set.
The room had been quiet for about 5 minutes, except this was comfortable silence. You and Ned still had some small talk but then you were mainly startled when you heard a crash on the floor, you quickly looked over to where the noise was coming from, the window, “What the actual fuck” You said quietly when you got up from where you were sitting. Ned’s eyes widened when he looked over to see Peter in his Spider-Man suit by the window of his bedroom. “Ned who is that” You said softly when you looked over at Ned and raised a eyebrow. Peter got up from the floor and took off his mask, “Oh hell no” You said somewhat loudly when you saw Peter. The kid who is in the freaking SPIDER-MAN SUIT. You were about to leave the room but Peter grabbed your wrist, “Please don’t tell anyone” Those deep pools of dark-cinnamon swirls in his soft doey eyes looked at you in a serious way. “Fine” You said then suddenly realized he had his hand on your wrist which caused you to jerk your hand away from his. “J-just let me change, then we can do whatever we had planned yesterday” He said as Ned sat down on Peter’s bed with you. Peter clicked on the iconic Spider button on the suit and it fell down to his ankles. You looked away just to avoid anything awkward happening, but Ned started to put together the LEGO set. You had a very light coral pink blush on your face. Ned got hungry halfway through building the set so he left Peter’s room to go find some food but got sucked into talking with May.
“I’m sorry Y/n..I didn’t think it would be like this, you finding out me being freaking Spider-man like this..And your dad is the one and only Tony Stark so he would kill me if anything bad happened to you because you know me…” Peter said softly. The last part made you giggle slightly. “But you are kind of already in danger because Pepper insisted on adopting you if that makes sense but seriou-” Peter said but you cut him off “Its fine Pete” you smiled then Ned walked in and sat down in between both of you. You all got back to working, “So are you guys like dating?” Ned asked loudly, Peters eyes widened. “N-no” Peter said quickly as you just ignored the blush on his face. “OH” Ned said when he saw the blush on Peter’s face.
