Whitewashing: An American tradition. Hollywood shapes how we are seen and *not* seen. But we don’t have to give them our money and views. Ghost in the Shell and Death Note are more missed opportunities to showcase Asian-American talent. Let’s not watch them.

when you’ve played a certain video game over than ten times already but you go on tumblr and see some cool gifs and pictures and you’re like “o, fuck it man, I’m gonna replay”

To all y'all liberal kids that are getting icky feelings about punching Nazis and other forms of violent protest:

Voldemort was taken down by a left wing anti-fascist group of radicals that used militant violence against the government.

Darth Vader was taken down by a left wing anti-fascist group of radicals that used militant violence against the government.

Jeanine Matthews and the Eurydice faction were taken down by a left wing anti-fascist group of radicals that used militant violence against the government.

President Snow and the government of Panem were taken down by a left wing anti-fascist group of radicals that used militant violence against the government.

The Homeworld Gems were stopped from destroying Earth by a left wing anti-fascist group of radicals that used militant violence against the government.

I mean damn. One Piece, Bleach, Ghost in the Shell, we can stretch it and say The Silmarillion, Eragon, The Chronicles of Narnia, Animorphs, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Voltron, I could probably name more if I had time, all this has in common is that the bad dudes with power WILL NOT GIVE THEIR POWER UP. EVER. It had to be TAKEN from them.

If y'all can understand this and relate to fictional characters, why can’t you do this to your fellow humans in real life?? Y'all are supporting the Death Eaters, the Empire, the bad guys you say you hate. Get your priorities in order. Get over that “Non-violence” bullshit.

I never saw Princess Leia shake hands with the Sith.

Reblog if these guys were a big part of your childhood as well.

More DnD Worldbuilding

A continuation of this

  • Rebel wizards leaking open-source spellbooks for free to spellcasters that can’t afford to join the elite magic schools
  • I don’t know if there’s free press in Faerûn but there are bards that will spread catchy songs about asshole nobles trampling on half-orc rights
  • A gnome-run toy shop that sells kits for kids to learn to build their own cool, animate clockword toys
  • Wood Elves that grew up in a city and have never seen a tree in their lives, but are really good and blending into urban environments
  • Genasi tattoo artists: because not being born with kickass skin markings shouldn’t preclude you from getting some
  • Races with natural darkvision having the same eyeshine as nocturnal animals
  • Dragonborn and Kobolds speaking in gender-neutral Common because they have trouble spotting gender cues of the non-reptillian races
  • A network of druids, clerics, and diviners acting as an early warning system for storms, earthquakes, and floods days or weeks in advance
  • With humans able to intermingle with elves, orcs, dwarves, fiends, djinn, and the occasional kinky dragon, family trees and census paperwork must be a nightmare to sort through.
  • (’Please check any non-human ancestry within 1-5 generations:’ “YES”)
  • A wizard-tailor using mage hand to take measurements, mend to fix tears, and transmutation to change fabric colors and materials
  • Familiars serving as support and guide animals
  • Mage-heavy cities utilzing conjuration and transmutation to make post-scarcity societies
  • A troupe of Kenku performers using their natural sound mimcry to put on high-production plays, musicals, and puppet shows
  • Druid-run animal shelters
  • First day of class, a teacher terrifies some freshman by drawing a sword -but wait he’s…putting it on a pedestal up front? Oh, that’s Professor Eversharp Darkrender, a 1,200 year old sentient blade who has personally impaled three of the historical figures that will be covered in this course.
I don't think a lot of people get this. Iroh's problem was that he lost his son. So he helped Zuko, who had been banished by his father, get his life back. The right life. By doing this Iroh got a second chance at being a father.
