So I’ve been binge watching Smallville, and Lara-el, Clark Kent’s birth mother, looked familiar. Turns out she plays Eliza Danvers, Alex’s mother and Kara’s adoptive mother. But there’s more, because Dean Cain, who plays Jeremiah Danvers on supergirl played Dr. Knox on Smallville, and both actors have played supergirl and superman respectively.
