Like the remains of broken glass, piles of Lake Superior ice littered the shoreline this morning near the Marquette Harbor Lighthouse – what an awesome sight. The sound was incredible, too, as the shards of ice were being gently moved by the water and wind. Marquette, Michigan - 1/13/15

l - last time you cried: I have no idea. I cry a lot. I cry when I laugh. It’s not always a thing. Sometimes I just cry if I hear the right chord progression or something happens in a commercial…idk. Probably yesterday.

o - one wish: To publish a book. More like a goal, but same ish.

v - vacation destination: My favorite would probly be this little b&b we stayed at in a village in England called Clearwell. It was like, in the Forest of Dean, and the entire village was like thirty-five ancient houses and a church. Some of the gravestones were like 600 years old. There were wild horses and ponies and ducks everywhere. It was so lovely. I don’t even remember how I found it.

w - worst habit: Nail biter. Foot in mouth. Babbling. Hyper at inappropriate times.

x - x-rays you’ve had: Broken wrist when I was a competitive cheerleader (pretend you don’t know this about  me) and you know obvious dental stuff.

Fossil collecting on the shores of lake Huron. The elongate one looks like a horn coral, not sure what the other one is. Fossils often can be found separated from rocks like this as they tend to erode differently from the surrounding rock. A lakeshore though you’ll find some and they’ll also be rounded and not quite pristine because of the waves.
