l: fringe binge

It’s that time of year again!  FRINGE BINGE IV (we’ve moved to Roman numerals now, like the Super Bowl!) is set for Friday, December 26 through Monday, December 30!  It’s the annual international simultaneous Fringe all-episode rewatch marathon… with Fringe fans from all over the world, watching all 100 episodes in order, all five seasons, for five mind-blowing days of binge watching heaven!

Pictured: just one of the amazing prizes we’ll be giving away during the Binge… the complete collection of Beyond the Fringe comic books, including (but not limited to) the three comics written by Joshua Jackson!  This is a beautiful bound paperback single edition containing the Jackson comics plus the others in the “Beyond the Fringe” comic series.

If you’ve never participated in FRINGE BINGE, you can read all you need to know at our Frequently Asked Questions page, and of course, don’t forget to check out this year’s episode schedule so you know when to start watching in your time zone!  And follow us on Twitter at @fringebinge2014 for announcements and updates, especially during the Binge.

If you’ve participated in FRINGE BINGE in past years, you know what an awesome get together it is for Fringies everywhere.  Come join us for the fun!  (And give this a reblog too to get the word out - last year’s Binge was the best-attended ever, so we’d love to top it in 2014!)

See you on December 26!

FRINGE BINGE 2013 is in the planning stages!

If you are interested in being involved in scheduling, planning, hosting, publicity, and organizing trivia contests and giveaways, drop us a line into the Ask box!

You asked for them!  The schedule for FRINGE BINGE All-Request Weekend is here!  Come see which of your favorite Fringe episodes we’ll be watching together all at the same time around the world, Friday May 16 through Sunday May 18, 2014 (or Monday the 19th, depending on where you live)!

The Binge starts at 8:00 PM Eastern (U.S.) time on Friday the 16th, and we’ll be watching 52 of the episodes you chose in last month’s online survey!  (Scheduling over one weekend can be tough, but fans in different parts of the world should be able to catch some great runs of episodes during daytime hours over the weekend.)

If you’ve participated in FRINGE BINGE before, you know what a blast it is.  If you never have, read our FAQ page to find out how to join in!

(Note: The 4th Annual FRINGE BINGE, which will run all 100 episodes, is tentatively scheduled for December 26-30, 2014.)

It’s just a little under three weeks until the start of FRINGE BINGE IV, the annual worldwide Fringe rewatch marathon!  This year’s marathon starts on Friday, December 26 and covers all 100 episodes winding up on Tuesday, December 30!  Check the schedule for your time zone to find out when to watch episodes along with other fans!

Above is one of the cool prizes being given away during this year’s Binge - the third installment in the Fringe prequel novels, Sins of the Father.  This one focuses on Peter Bishop!  (If you’ve read the other books in the series, we can report that this one is far and away the best of the three - and you’ll love the ending!)

We’ll be giving this away (and other prizes once per day) via Twitter, so  follow us on Twitter at @fringebinge2014 for announcements and updates, especially during the Binge.  See you on the 26th!

We want you to stay safe and healthy during the FRINGE BINGE!  Here’s the first of a series of handy tips!

My Wonderful Second Day of School: And why I'm exhausted

So, I’ve been watching Fringe for the past couple hours and I have no regrets.

I had History of Theatre and I made the mistake of telling Nancy that I hadn’t presented.  Why is this a mistake?  Because she thought I already made my presentation last quarter.  (fuck)

Department meeting.  (longest joke in the world.  Last 30 mins)

Scenic Design class!  And lo and behold, we’re working with one of the architecture classes!  Insert mild anxiety.  weeeeeeeeee!

Hanging out with le Boss Lady.  (all hail Boss Lady).  And then.
AND THEN.

Jeff comes along and says that I did a great job in my design presentations for The Submission!  I was super excited and just blushed and said thank you and then freaked out because yay!

(That was the highlight of my entire day)

Now, I’m exhausted, and I just put together a binder full of my Costume History class for reference and I’m amazed at the amount of information I have in this 1 inch binder.

Now, my next binder to make is for my costume things for The Submission, write a short essay for tomorrow, print some paperwork and then sleep.

In the meantime, FRINGE.
